Totally agree on the previous posts. Customer service needs improvement to get employees more involved. And the hiring standards should be increased. Hiring a felon with an extensive record is not good for our community. I think her name is Mallory. There has to be more qualified people out there.It’s a nice place with potential, but only with good employees.

This store has gone downhill. High prices and inconsistent customer service. And what were they thinking when they hired an ex-con with out of state warrants? Employee Mallory seems nice but this town doesn’t need any criminals from another state. Let’s petition her out of here. This store has good potential.*Now we see she has placed escort ads around town in various businesses. Let’s take them down. We don’t need escorts here.

Nice place with ok service. But not good enough to come back. Told by another customer they hired a fugitive with a long arrest record fleeing warrants from out of state. Young girl with glasses and black hair. Are they that desperate for help?

12 pack sodas had no pricing. When I asked a man he just wanted to blame it all on the vendor. He should have simply apologized and offered to get the prices. Subsequently I didn't purchase any. The cashier was very nice. This is second time now this store has been not customer focused. I will not go a third time.

This is a nice shop in a pretty small Maine town. All credit to the owners for creating an attractive facade and stocking a good range of products. I also bought gas which was priced $0.30 per gallon cheaper than at home in Brunswick, go figure! We bought several food items here and were pleased with price and quality.

Ahhhh what can I say about the "Maine"ly Provisions Market/Grocery store. The "Maine" way of things is to use the word "Mainely".... as a Gimmick to give you a country-time feel but this place is a lil like steppin' back in time ❤ YES u can get organic & most name brand items BUT THE BAKERY items 🤗 & MEAT selection 🤩 (sorry vegans) Also a set-up that makes me feel like I'm able to get everything in under 45 min. INSTEAD OF A WAREHOUSE 👎 It's in 1 of my favorite towns, last bit of civilization til Sugarloaf Mtn. There's a laundry mat and another miniart with ⛽️ on premises and in a lil mini-mall type setting. Very cute & very needed for the local community

The laundromat is a regular stop. The washroom is clean and the area is spacious. Many washing machines are available with soap dispensers at your disposal.

This is the friendliest family owned business in Franklin County Maine. They have the best local foods available from produce to meats and many options to fit anyone's taste in foods. If your in Kingfield or Farmington make sure you stop in. They have great prices and you can be in and out in less than 5 minutes.

I ordered finger sandwiches and other platters for a funeral and was very pleased with the amount of food on the trays and the cost was very reasonable too. I recommend they cater your next get together. Ask for Jillian in the deli.

Amazing customer service! I spoke to Angela on the phone and asked if they did birthday cakes. She offered to call their baker and find out. Took my name and number and called me back. So patient and friendly!! They also have a great selection for a small grocer!

They have this bread that has bacon egg and cheese in it literally to die for I ordered six loaves of the stuff because I'm not up here very often you can freeze it and it's so good little bit of butter on it the food that they prepare here is top of the line quality freshness and taste. Their stores very clean well organized for the size and their staff is extremely professional patient kind considerate and they listen and they follow through can't say enough good things about this place a plus five stars they also have a liquor store next door to the supermarket

I was staying up at Sugarloaf for a long weekend and was feeling a little stressed at the complete lack of any vegan options at all of the restaurants up there. So I stopped in to Mainely Provisions to try to gather what I could so that I didn’t get hangry. To my surprise this awesome little grocery store had more vegan options than I could even believe! I went there 3 times during my stay, the employees are very friendly, and the store was very busy. Great location, I am so happy I stopped in!

This is an excellent family owned store!! They have a great selection of anything you need at great prices. Their meats are superb!! The best tenderloins! Their deli has many great choices of things to choose from. Great gift ideas and selection of cards. If your looking to make cocktails they have everything you could want. Don't forget to stop and get your lottery ticket. ;) You can't go wrong with this store!!

The store itself carries a wide array of items, for any dietary need. I’m a gluten free, sugar free, vegan and it’s very easy to find what I want. The staff are local, friendly people and the delivery service is a welcome comfort to many folks

Nice little grocery, excellent meat dept & homemade sausages. Produce dept is quite a bit better than you would expect in a store this size-WELL DONE! They will special order items for you if they don't stock what you want. Beware though, they have a tendency to lock the doors early. Get there well before closing time.

Need to bring in fresher produce. Prices are a little high on somethings but what is expected for a small town. Overall, a good and convenient place to shop.

Great local market. Prices are high on some items, but you can get great deals on others. My only criticism would be to beware of some of the chicken deals, because after you cook it you'll see the difference between antibiotic injected overgrown chicken(massive legs & thighs), and the slightly more expensive chicken sold elsewhere. It's essentially the same chewy chicken you get at cheap fast food restaurants, and it doesn't matter what you do to it, or how excellent a cook you are, it will always be chewy and have a weird mouth texture where the meat peels off in layers. Otherwise they have an especially great produce selection, and many products that are almost impossible to find this far north in Maine. Overall, I would definitely recommend this business, and they have a warm friendly staff!

Love this store! Great prices, great variety of produce, meat, deli, specialty cheeses and meats, frozen foods and ice cream, health and beauty supplies, dairy products, Tranten's specialty spices, they also are a liquor store and have a large selection of wine ,and much, much more! Lots of parking and a friendly staff that is always ready to help you with all your grocery needs. The owners are a 3rd generation family that go above and beyond, not just for customers but for the town of Kingfield, the town they grew up in and love. They definitely give back more than they get. So next time you are in the area stop in, you'll be glad you did!!

Used to be call Trantens but has since then transfered ownership. Been going there since a kid. Staff has always been good to me and they got a decent selection of food. Seems to always have a clean and well kept look to it. No broken tiles or bowed shelves. I would rate this a 4.5 if I could. The downside is that thier prices are a little higher then any major chain store but it is what you would expect.

This small town store was a surprise find. Nice selection and great prices. We purchased some steak and salad fixings -reasonably priced. Fun store to poke around and see some of the different offerings.

Glad to have this store in the area but I do most of my grocery shopping once a week at Hannafords Farmington since they carry what I like which includes Ezekiel Bread, Fage Fat Free yogurt large containers, Quest Bars by the box and more. I do try to support all businesses in Kingfield and Stratton.
