We have been happy customers of the Red Barn Inn for close to 15 years, both for boarding and for daycare. Our dogs are cared for in a safe, loving environment, and they always have lots of fun! The staff are warm and friendly, and they are always very responsible when one of our dogs needs special attention (medication or a specific diet) due to a medical issue. We wouldn't take our dogs anywhere else!

Ace loves it here. He gets all the attention I can't give him when I am away for work or play, it's great for his socialization with other dogs, and he clearly loves it. Whenever I go to pick him up, you can tell he's having such a great time, because he never wants to leave. I don't know what I would do without the wonderful staff at the Red Barn Inn.

I would highly recommend The Red Barn Inn! My pup attends daycare weekly and is always so tired from all the playing at the end of the day. The staff is so kind and truly cares for each dog - they even share photos of the pups playing on their social media so you get a glimpse into the fun.

I was introduced to Red Barn Inn in 2018. My grandpup Finn was going there and he absolutely loved it. When I got a new pup in 2020, I knew just the place for her to go. The owners and staff love on her as if she were their own. She loves it there and I love knowing she’s safe, cared for, loved, and having a blast playing with all her friends. Price is reasonable & affordable. Place is clean, organized, and everyone is pleasant. I recommend RBI to everyone.

Indy has been at Red Barn his entire life, over six years. He loves it.Since Audra purchased the property last year, she has made many changes that enhance not only safety issues, but the dogs enjoyment. She is on site all the time monitoring all aspects of the day care. She and the crew make sure everyone is happy and safe. This allows me to go to work knowing he is well cared for. Red Barn Inn is a fantastic addition to the community.

We have been bringing our dog Ginger to the Red Barn Inn for seven years, since she was a puppy. She goes part time for daycare and boards when we need to go away without her. She is always excited to get there, which is a good indication to us that she is loved and given good care while there. It gives us peace of mind knowing she is safe while away from us. Current ownership & staff have made things even better than in the past … we highly recommend this kennel.

The Red Barn Inn is under new ownership and it is fantastic!Our dog loves going here for daycare and boarding. He doesn't look back when we drop him off and doesn't want to leave when we come to get him. He has had a few overnights there and always comes home tired and happy.The staff love him and always have a wonderful greeting and a treat waiting for him. We love the ease of the online booking and seeing his cute face on facebook every day. We trust them to take care of him.

Red Barn Inn provides outstanding TLC for our furry friend. We use both the weekly Doggie Daycare and long term vacation boarding services. The RBI staff are professional, excellent with communication, and very responsive with questions and booking. Our dog literally cannot get there fast enough. My pup has been to several different daycares and red barn is BY FAR his favorite. It's so quant and dog centered. The small group and outside environment sets him up for success. They're so friendly and accommodating there. The only place I'd ever board my dog. He gets so excited even driving down the road towards the red barn and then when he sees it, his excitement grows (that's all the tell in the world of how good this place is)! What a great daycare!

Our 3 dogs have been going to Red Barn for many years for both daycare and boarding. It’s been a lifesaver when we need them looked after due to work, family, or travel commitments. Audra has done a great job running the business since she took it over, and her staff are wonderful and caring…we know because the dogs always go in with tails wagging!

Denver has been going to RBI since he was 12 weeks old, he absolutely loves to go. I don’t know what I would do without them!! Thank you RBI staff for loving our pups!!! I have tried 3 daycares down here in Florida and none come close to comparing to the RBI!! We will be back in March and Denver can’t wait to see all his friends!!

We had to drive into town from Philly last minute for a funeral. We had no choice but to travel with the dogs and Audra and the folks at the red barn were able to take them in for the day of the services very last minute. Would definitely recommend and hopefully use them again under better personal circumstances.

I’m so happy that our Brady did the daycare with them, very nice crew and brady was so happy. Next year, We are doing Wells and it would be 45-50 minutes, My husband says he would not mind driving again just to drop him again at The Red Barn Inn.Thank you again for accepting Brady without you guys, We can’t do the bike trail. We stay at Kennebunk 20 minutes away to the The Red Barn Inn and Brady is a happy Boy he get anxious for 15 min after we drop him after that and play all day. Thank you again The Red Barn Inn.

We recently took our first vacation since acquiring our new puppy Bentley. We were nervous about having to leave him. The folks at Red Barn Inn, were so helpful in addressing any questions or concerns I had. We did a couple trial runs of daycare before heading off on a weeks vacation. During our trip I was able to check in with the folks at Red Barn in via phone and Facebook. They even posted pics of our pups playing. The Red Barn Inn workers really go the extra mile. Service is tremendous and the pricing is very reasonable. I can't say enough about this great establishment. It's great to have confidence in a place to look after our dogs when we are away. We could tell they both had a blast. Thank you Red Barn Inn!

My puppy and I absolutely adore everything about this place. The family oriented staff are so welcoming and loving, their facility is beautiful and well organized, and their price point is so reasonable. Each time we pull into the red barn, we are so excited. My puppy absolutely loves the staff and the dogs there. I always feel so secure leaving her at the red barn, and the pictures they share each day are top notch. 🐶🎁🙏🏼

Check Yelp!! Multiple posts on google reviews on our end are not going through, but yelp has completely different (and in our case more accurate) reviews. Our dog got a full body skin infection and double ear infections because they let him play in mud and water all day and they didnt properly wash or dry him off. He was damp during the day and in his sleep for 4 straight days which allowed bacteria to grow, which lead us to pay $800 in vet bills and multiple weeks of recovery. Their owner never called us back regarding this issue either.

Monty has visited the Red Barn Inn several times for daycare and has spent a weekend there as well. The staff is super friendly and I get the feeling that they love every dog as if it was their own pet. While I never really like leaving my buddy behind, I'm way more comfortable at a place like the Red Barn Inn. I will be booking another overnight stay for Monty in a few months and I feel like he is already looking forward to it, haha.

My husband and I were extremely happy with the care and attention our dog received when he came down with an unexpected illness while we were away, across the country in Alaska for two weeks. They spotted his problem immediately. They took him to our vet twice, gave him his medications and follow-up care. We truly appreciate their professionalism and kindness.

Gave them two chances. The first time we boarded my dog here, there was zero communication for a week and we were overcharged. The second time, my dog looked like she hadn’t gotten any exercise and acted lethargic. I later found out she had contracted kennel cough. My vet informed me that there had been a kennel cough outbreak at the Red Barn at that time, and that they get many cases of kennel cough from dogs boarded there. Despite knowing about the outbreak, the red barn inn did not inform anyone who was boarding their dogs there at that time. Clearly, the owners are indifferent towards the wellbeing of the animals in their care.

I had heard such good things about the Red Barn Inn, so I brought my dog there for doggie daycare. Some of the people I talked to have since said that the good experiences were from before the change in ownership a couple years ago.The Red Barn Inn claimed that my dog would be monitored for her first 6 days there and introduced to other dogs slowly, one or a few at a time, but nope, they brought her right into the big play area with all the other dogs right away.On her second day there she was bitten by another dog. I didn’t find out until I got her home that evening. I went right back and asked if any of the staff had reported an incident, and they said they hadn’t seen anything. After going out back to ask the staff, the owner just shrugged his shoulders and said, “sorry that happened”. He repeated that a few times and it sounded insincere every time. He could not identify which dog bit her, so he couldn’t produce proof that the biter is up to date on vaccinations, and couldn’t provide assurance that the biter won’t be going back. In all likelihood, the biter is still going to daycare there.My dog had a huge bite wound, approximately 3 inches high and 3 inches wide, long lacerations with puncture wounds under each. How could no one have seen that? How many hours did my dog go without first aid that afternoon? When I brought her to the vet and they shaved the area, it revealed a large area of bruising around the bite. It must’ve been a really hard bite.When we lived out of state my dog went to a doggie daycare 3-5 times a week for 2 years (she’s 2 1/2 years old now), and we never had any problems. My dog plays well with other dogs. She has good body language and communicates well with other dogs. It’s very unlikely she would have done anything to provoke this incident.Since the staff didn’t see what happened, they don’t know which dog bit my dog, which means the biter is probably still going to daycare at the Red Barn Inn.Don’t let this happen to your dog! Do your research first. I didn’t take a closer look at this place until after this happened, but I’ve since found out that the BBB accreditation on their website is a lie. They have a BBB rating of “F” and they have been warned multiple times by the BBB to take the logo down off their website. Clearly they’re comfortable with this level of dishonesty.When I first toured the Red Barn Inn, the owner told me he used to work in collections. I haven’t seen any evidence that he nor any of his staff have any formal education or training in canine behavior. I assumed they would but I should have asked more questions. I regret trusting them with my dog. She loved going to her old doggie daycare, but unless I can find one in Maine with staff who actually know what they’re doing, that part of her life may be over.

This is the best place to bring my pups! They are cared for and so am I. If I have been in a pinch, they have always found a spot for my pups. I use them 2 times a week for daycare and my dogs come home happy and tired! Cant say enough good things about them.
