We needed a wheelbarrow wheel and when we walked in the young man at the cash was so friendly and said hello to every customer and asked how they were doing. As we approached the cash to purchase our stuff, I said you are very friendly which is what every store needs these days. He just smiled and said well I have to work so might as well be nice. I said you are a very nice young man as I left. I enjoy coming to Ace Hardware,they always seem to have what I want.

“Another brilliant mind” is how the owner referred to me when I explained to her that I sometimes had to return to her store a couple times in order to finish a home improvement job. Admittedly, I’m far from a pro, which is why I like to shop and support local at a friendly, helpful hardware store. I try not to go back to this store, though, bc of the comment above. Bought my Stihl up Rte 1 at a very friendly helpful Stihl dealer and get Ben paint at another local hardware down Rte 1 that is welcoming. Maine Hardware in Portland is also amazing and never hesitates to be helpful in a friendly way. Feel badly not going to this local store though.

Having recently moved from an apartment to a house, I've been to Ace quite often. They have a super friendly and helpful staff. The store is well stocked with a variety of household needs.

Went there to pick up a microwave I found online. Got headed to it by staff. Right where they said it would be. Works fine at my home. The store feels crowded not spread out like in Florida. Clean lots of selection

Pricing is set very high. And the owner John is about as rude and as dismissive a person that you will ever encounter. And his children that also work there are just as bad if not worse than John.

Great hardware store. Staff are helpful and polite. It's the 1 place you can always find what you need unlike some of the big box stores.

I try and shop local and avoid going to the larger store nearby. Staff was rude when doing propane exchanges. Will likely go elsewhere next time. Left a bad feeling

I was curious to see what they carried in stock. Also, I needed some axe and hatchet wedges. Their inventory of 'hardware store stuff'' was very good even for this day and age AND they had wedges for my tools. That was a very pleasant surprise. I will stop there first before I go to the bb stores.

I have been shopping at Ace for 10 plus years and only recently have I encountered discord and I wanted to say something about how or why I am being disrespected by certain members of staff but I kept it to myself because its mostly snide looks and impatience at my presence of being at this store for some reason. And certain people/employees feel obligated to follow me around the store even though I am know in this community and I pay for what ever items I need. Other then those instances I enjoy the convenience of shopping locally.

I absolutely LOVE this store!Folks are always helpful!It is handy being able to go to a bin of hardware parts and find the exact piece you need to finish a job!That doesn'thappen at the big box stores where parts are in plastic bags!Sid, John, Lee and every one else are great!

Fantastic Ace Hardware store!! One of the bigger ones I've ever been to and a great selection of just about anything you'd look for in a store like this. Great helpful staff throughout the store as well (not something you find very often in today's understaffed big box stores).

This is one of many great Ace hardware stores. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They have many items you can't find at the bigbox stores.It would be great if they had longer hours and a working public restroom.

Went here to find an impossible tool for a shower fixture rebuild, and though they didn't have the part, the person who helped us knew what we could use instead, and saved the day. That's why you go to a small local place, and get help from real humans! Humans that know stuff!

As a Manager of the Local Dunkin Donuts I frequently go to Ace for a wide range of items from nuts and bolts to floor fans. The hard working employees always ask if you need help finding anything. The owner is always a nice guy to do business with and gives good advice about the products he sells.

On there web site it says 6:00 they close I drove from Ogunquit racing around all day as I’m wicked busy but was so relieved when I saw 6 PM as today would be the only day I would be available to come to the store and get what I needed for Thursday not only did they close way before six they closed at 4:50 what is that ??? How hard is it to A fix your website B close at 5:00 not 4:50. So very upset as I should of went to York What a huge inconvenience to just drive to Kennebunk for Absolutely nothing

Staff is great and location is great and it's a good place for a quick fix. However thier supplies in general are not good quality and thier prices are what i would consider obnoxiously high. Most Ace Hardware locations are priced high regardless, but the Kennebunk location is ridiculous.

This would be a great store if it wasn't for the employees, they are some of the worst I have ever come across, no greeting or can I help you when you enter, customer service is non existent. The owner should bring all of his employees to Maine Hardware another Ace store in Portland to learn customer service.

Kennebunk Ace Hardware, I give 5 stars. They have just about everything that you can think of. Nuts bolts and washers, stove pipe, they make keys, they cut window glass to the size that I needed it, they carry paint, in the spring say Carrie all kind of lawn and garden supplies, rakes and shovels, they have electrical supplie5s and plumbing supplies, they have a friendly staff that is more than willing to help you find what you need. This hardware store has been around for a long time. Again I give the Kennebunk Ace Hardware five stars.

Yes, ahh where to begin! i called face hardware and they told me that their were ACs available and i was with my brother in law and when he got to the store they already sold them and made us come into store and proceeded to tel my brother in law and i quote “i lied too you, i’m sorry” but before apologizing he also said “gotta make a sale some how am I right?”
