This is quite a nice little store! They had everything I needed, including lots of organic and gluten free options. Super well laid out, all employees were very friendly, and the self checkout was quick and easy. One thing I would say, the cell service is non existent in the parking lot. 😂

Convenient. I asked for town bags. Kid could not remember to add town bags to my order, had to check out twice. I had only 4 other items, its not that hard. I do not like the arrangement of the new store. Single entrance/exit door is awkward and just makes absolutely no sense. The amount of wall space gained in produce is not worthwhile at all. All changes are, well, bad. Feels worse than WM.Update. Getting used to changes. Single door is still silly. 2 to get in and out of cart area, narrowing to 1 to enter/exit store. Blocked arrangement in produce is awkward.

No cell service in parking lot which is usual for this area. The store is clean and well stocked. They often have random items that other Hannafords won’t have. Their hot food selection is one of the best I’ve been too, from pizza to noodles to sushi and chicken and fries, a bigger hot to go section than other Hannafords.

Consistently out of desired items and no pre-cooked food in the evenings. Even when ads claim guaranteed food until a certain time, its not available. Consistently shuts down most food departments early including bakery, sushi, and meat. If you work a traditional 8-5 job and shop in the evening the product isn't there.

Beautiful market that's kept very clean and orderly. The produce section has almost anything you could be looking for. The wine section is very diverse. It's an all around great market that covers everyone's needs.

Great selection, much cleaner than other stores, friendly people. Just be careful going close to closing, they generally go down to one register and I inevitably end up stuck behind someone with a full cart as I try to check out with my 3 items .Update: They installed self checkouts after my previous review. So much easier to get in and out near closing time, which at 10pm (9 on Sundays) is really helpful when you work late hours, are hungry, and basically everywhere else in town is closed by 9. Excellent store.

It’s fine I guess. The Friday before a major holiday weekend and the shelves were bare. They haven’t had bunched cilantro in what seems like forever but they have plenty of Nature’s Promise Organic cilantro (which is their in-house brand)…it’s not good at all. Tastes horrible and is an expensive tiny amount where the package is full of tons of giant stems with no leaves attached. We shop there solely out of convenience in location.

It's a typical grocery store. Given that Hannaford is a chain, there are better stores and there are worse. A plus for me is it's convenient. It's less than 10 minutes from where I live.

Fresh groceries, competitive prices. Consistently poor bagging and my vehicle has been scratched in their parking lot many times. EDIT AS OF JULY 2022: Have been riding around with 6 Clynk bags in the back of my truck for 2 weeks because every time I go to drop them off, the bin is out of order or full. I'm going back to the redemption center for my bottle returns.

I'm giving this store a 5 star because the people that work here are very nice and they help you out. I do Instacart and when I went in there and I saw a lady work there with a mohawk that put a huge smile to my face because I live in Biddeford and a lot of people are judgemental and letting someone go to work with a mohawk or even LGBTQ makes me so happy. Thank you for not being judgemental you made my day

Product availability is good, they did stop carrying the dog food my dog needs even after I requested it twice. Produce is mostly fine but the bananas are garbage. Prices are high due to not having competition in town. They finally got a self checkout, but the UI is unintuitive, and more than once I've been left waiting, through no fault of my own, for an employee to fix an issue with the checkout. Say what you will about a certain huge chain discount store with their "super" grocery sections, the self checkouts are rather reliable. They do have the "to go" feature for picking up your online order.

I enjoy shopping at my local Hannaford store. I usually shop in store but had a great experience with Hannaford To Go this week! This store is undergoing renovations and I’m excited to see the changes. Friendly staff and well stocked store! Many GF and local options. Carts are sanitized once they are brought back into the store.

They’re improving from the days of expired food on the shelves and a weak delicatessen. Deli is good now. They built an entire table area for employees only. At Market Basket they allow customers to bring stuff from the deli into the tables area to eat. Customers are now allowed into the one at Hanmaford. That luxury is for employees only.

Was asked to pick up a birthday cake. The lady at the Bakery dept. said I needed to pay for it where as it had a hanging price tag. So I did. Turned out it had been pre paid so I came back in for a refund as I was sent a photo shot of the original paid receipt. Unfortunately the three geniuses at the customer service counter had much difficulty figuring it all out. In the end I actually had to settle for a gift card. Unbelievable!!

Beautiful, large store with many organic, local, and gourmet options. Gorgeous produce section, quiet store, bright, clean, and nice staff. Kid friendly with special carts, cookies, amenities. Store exceeds expectations.

Hannaford supports local businesses and not just by purchasing and selling local products. They also donate over $100k a year to the Biddeford food pantry with food and cash. That's why I shop at Hannaford. This company genuinely cares about making their community better. Their meat prices are very competitive and their produce is always fresh. They do a great job and are a model for how to run a business in the 21st century.

This location was disappointing. My husband and I went through the self check out while visiting from out of town only to find that the camera was set up so it was looking right down my shirt. Not ok. Brought it up to staff and the manager and was giving alot of attitude. The manager Jason King was very disrespectful and didn't seem to care that the cameras were more or less invading personal space..how many other women and teen girls have had video taken down their shirts??? I will be contacting corporate about this issue.

Hannaford Supermarket I give them 5 stars their store is clean. And the staff is courteous and friendly. Hannaford's has a lot to offer. The clink drop-off for bottles and cans. The staff at the pharmacy very helpful. I like the Hannaford store is close to my home. Each aisle is marked by signs to help you find things. And if you do need help finding something there's always someone there to help you to find what you're looking for. I noticed, they have a new service I haven't tried it. Call Hannaford's tell him what you want. And they bring it out to you, you don't even have to get out of your car.

Hannaford isn't my first option for groceries because they tend to be a bit over priced. But they're good in a pinch.Great produce but their meats are hit or miss.
