We traveled from out of town to meet our new granddaughter and wanted to bring flowers to our daughter-in-law. We are not familiar with the area so we decided to search Google to find a local florist. We are so pleased to have found Downeast Flowers!The ladies in the shop were so friendly and accommodating. While we waited, the florist created thearrangement. The roses are gorgeous and get more beautiful every day. The bouquet was exactly what we wanted and we were pleased with how reasonable the price was. We have recommended this shop to our son for his future floral needs and highly recommend Downeast Flowers.

We went to Downeast Flowers and Gifts, Inc when my wife passed on. With all the emotion of my wife's passing I was not sure what to get for flowers. The ladies at the store were so helpful. We spent about 2hr or so there and came away with what we wanted colors, arrangements and special touches. They have their son actually put the arrangements together. When we got to the funeral home for the Viewing and saw the flower arrangements, we were blown away by how beautiful they were. I can't recommend them enough if you need floral arrangements for a special event. Thank you Downeast, what a superb arrangement you did. We were way beyond pleased and my wife was certainly honored by what you did.Thank you for all of us, Dave Payette, Ken Payette, Lori Webster and Cassandra Belmore.

Friends had a Downeast Flowers bouquet sent to our dinner table at The White Barn for our 25th anniversary celebration. It was a bounty of white, sweetly fragrant flowers. I enjoyed them on my desk at work for a full week thereafter and now I'm enjoying them in my home a second week with fresh lily blossoms from buds. Impressed! Thank you Downeast Flowers & Gifts!

It does not matter if i am getting flowers for a wedding, roses for my mom's funeral or a $10 plant for a friend who lost a pet. I get the same magnificent service. They have been my florist, as well as, the florist I choose for our church for decades now. 5 stars for sure

I am not a flower guy, but I will now only buy flowers from them. Prices are fair just over Walmart prices, but quality is unmatched. Flowers are vibrant and full of life. They stay beautiful much longer.This is the ONLY place I buy from.

I came here based on the reviews I read.Not disappointed!The gentleman put together a wrist corsage while I waited. It was beautiful! There were plenty of Easter lilies to choose from. Great Service and reasonable prices.

I would definitely give this florist 10 stars out of 5. They were wonderful to work with. We are not from Maine but we were going to be staying at a local hotel for a special occasion. I needed someone to call who could deliver flowers to the hotel and at the right time. The very nice person at Downeast I talked with said she could do what I needed and gave me some very nice suggestions for flowal arrangements. When I arrived at the hotel - the desk clerk said they had arrived on-time and were sitting up in our room.And when we got up there, the flower arrangement was amazing. This was a surprise for my wife who just loved them. Everything was perfect.

Working with Reggie at the Kennebunk location for our wedding was amazing. He did an amazing job with all of the arrangements and gave us more than what we asked for. Reggie was extremely professional and gave us everything we needed to make our day truly special. It also didn't hurt that all of our hired vendors had nothing but great things to say about Reggie and his arrangements.

My Mother got her flowers as promised for Mother's Day. She said they were the prettiest arrangement she's ever seen. Thank you so very much for giving her that! She is 87 years old. I live in Pa. And don't get to see her as often as l wish I could. Your arrangement made her happy.

Picked up 2 gorgeous bouquets today to cheer up on a dreary day in isolation. Curbside service, beautifully arranged and great attention to detail , as always! Flowers are the antidote! Call ahead and they’ll help you decide what to get- but know it will make or someone else happy!

Cannot recommend Downeaster Flowers in Kennebunk. They failed to make a delivery and blamed me for a wrong number. They probably took it down wrongly. When I said I could not recommend their service, the owner said, with a huff, “good, it will save us the hassle”. Clearly they are not interested in serving their customers. Use Fleurant instead!

Went to 4 different shops and called another eight looking for flowers for a funeral. Downeast had the best pricing of all of them. Very happy. Got order done quickly. Beautiful arrangements.

I love giving good reviews, unfortunately this is not a customer oriented business. I was excited to support a local business. I was overcharged, when I called she credited for the charge and never explained that there was a delivery fee! The website was down, they overcharged me, didn't know their pricing and there was no 'thank you for your patience'. To sum it up, I had a negative experience and I will go elsewhere.
