Sold the rotisserie chicken raw. If you buy one from them check it first. Ours was bloody and yes I have proof. Tried to call and have a conversation but supposedly their phone has been down for the last 4 days. Might be an accident but they need to really pay attention when cooking chicken.

i witnessed the most compassionate check out ladies ever today… there was a very elderly lady in front of me, she was taking a good bit of time, they were so sweet to her… i was worried patrons in line would get impatient …. guess what…. that didn’t happen! I love Maine!

That has to Be 1 of the Worst Hannafords I've been in !!! Understocked ,Out dated Orange juice that they want you to pay 6.29 a gallon ! Let alone well over priced compared to other Hannafords!! That place is a Dump ! Needs New Management and torn down or Rehabed !! Now I see why everyone goes to the Walmart in Farmington and I hate that place but is 100% better then the Dumpy Hannafords in Jay Maine !! Boycott it do yourself a favor .!!!!!

Great prices, options here are wider than other Hannaford stores for some products. The pharmacy is amazing! All staff are very pleasant, friendly and super supportive! Definitely my go to store for everything I need!

I was at self checkout trying to figure out what I can afford. The person running self check out asked me if the stuff in my cart was paid for.Harassed me again by standing over my shoulder and asking me if the food next to the scanner was mine.Stalked me the entire time, did not leave my side.I accidentally grabbed organic Bananas (which i had no clue i did),scanned them and put them away. Continued scanning. He's next to me, looks at my stuff being ringed up, looked at the Bananas on the reciept side of the scanner. Proceeds to reach into my personal bag and literally pulled them out. And corrected my mistake never leaving within a foot from me. I'm standing there, now crying because I feel violated that this man will not leave my side. Literally not two feet away from me. I'm standing there and trying to figure out how much I can spend on groceries what I can afford. I have to check my bank account. He's directly next to me, Because I was checking my account he begins pointing to items in my cart and asking me if they're paid for as I'm standing there crying. I leave sit in my car, had a full blown panic attack. Called the manager and he said that hes sorry I took it that way. Not sincere at all. Very disappointed in this store.DO BETTER

I love Hannaford, it's always clean, and the produce always looks fresh.I just wish I could get more of the brands I like in the store that is closest to me. I did call about inquiring about that a few weeks ago and haven't heard back yet.

This place is very clean , nice people and they offer about everything you could ask for. But with grocery markets price is a big issue especially with what our generations are seeing .presently in our state and country. They're a bit high on price in comparison to the big stores in Farmington. Clean healthy and well stocked ( at the moment) I don't do my groceries here but I would if neccesary I'd just have to pay a bit more. Strong 4 for this place and others I've seen statexide

I love this Hannaford to go. They always make good substitutions. They are friendly and communicative. I haven't had anything but great experiences. Maybe I'll actually go into the store some day ☺️

The employees are fantastic, store is clean but limited offerings. It's a shame, this is a busy area but many people travel to farmington because the items they want are not found at this location. You have room to expand, build a bigger store.b

This is where I almost always do my grocery shopping. It’s local, convenient, and clean. The employees are generally friendly, and I usually can find everything I need. Even though this store is smaller than other Hannafords I have been to, I have always had a good experience, and it is my go-to place for weekly groceries.

Big selection of products. The rewards program earns money back and always has great deals to offer. The sales are nice and change weekly offering a variety of choices. An agency liquor store, also. The store is clean and easy to navigate. This store also has a pharmacy that is super easy to use and convenient while shopping.

Absolute worst experience I've ever had regarding my New Jersey ID (which scans on any computer system as valid in the state of Maine). I was trying to buy beer and the young manager that was called over to verify my ID decided the hologram didn't look in the exact correct spot. This is all fine with me, I understand and respect the need to verify IDs. The issue is that after she decided she was skeptical of it I asked her to scan it on the register which she refused. Then she handed it off to another person who proceeded into an employees only area completely out of my view for several minutes. I've been to dozens of casinos, bars and liquor stores in this country and I've never had anyone ignorant enough to take my government issued ID completely out of my sight without even bothering to ask me. Please train your employees not to take people's licenses into back rooms without their permission or consent. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. Poor cashier was stuck in the middle and after all that ridiculous posturing they just scanned my ID like I asked to begin with amd let me buy the beer. Insane

Small, very rude managers suspicious of everyone! Overheard co workers talking about my wife who was watching her put every single item on the register. One said " Does she think she's gonna walk out with that milk" as my wife had accidentally left it where the child seat is because she was trying to hurry. Had a talk with the manager it got sorted.

The store is clean and never too busy. It is easy to maneuver a shopping cart through the grocery store. Prices are good and so is quality of meat and produce. Hannaford has many store brands of pretty decent quality and also a rewards program. Plenty of parking and always plenty of cashiers available so that even if there are lines, lines move quickly.

This pharmacy is terrible between Farmington and Jay neither of them are any good. They take forever to fill a prescription and when you call to ask if they have it they usually say no and then you have to ask again and ask are you sure and then they look again and they find it and then there is always some issue why it can never be filled. Been going here for 3years and if my insurance didn't work so well through this pharmacy I'd be long gone!

This is a great store. They have a lot of foods you can't find, except maybe in a health food store. You can get a lot of non GMO foods here along with foods that don't have extra things added. The people who work there are so nice and so friendly.

Why is the person at the door at Hannaford letting people go into the store without face mask? There were at least three in the store while I was shopping and another one that was talking to the girl outside just before he went in. One of the girls inside was coughing and hacking all over the place without a mask on, coughing in her hand. Doesn't exactly make one feel easy about doing their daily shopping for groceries. 😷

Troubling in the days of covid. Sign by the front door says something like"masks required, no exceptions", yet 97% of the customers, and a few staff had no masks. We need to find a way to enforce masking rules. I won't be back anytime soon, unless they get better at enforcement.

Small Hannaford. Could use some updating inside. Food is overpriced. I only go there because it's the only grocery store in town. I would, however, give the pharmacy 5 stars.

Everytime I go to this hannafords they just are so amazing. They one up themselves everytime. They are so helpful and very kind. The workers there made life that much easier for me they helped me with the changing table in the ladies rest room when they saw my hands were full and they even helped me find a freshly ripe mango when I said I couldn't tell if one was ripe. I definitely recommend this hannafords to my friends because the customer service there is just so on point. Thank you Jay Hannafords Employees! A huge round of applause to the employees and the boss who hired these lovely workers yall do a great job. Keep up the good work ya'll.

A slightly smaller supermarket compared to its Farmington counterpart, however it offers multiple food brands to choose from. In-store pharmacy. Clean restrooms. Easy access. Large parking area with handicap spaces near doors.
