The Lady's are wonderful that work there and they make the best pizzas and sandwiches. Their prices on their grocery items are higher than other stores. However, if you're in need and can't get to town, you have that option. Thanks

Foods decent. Pay with cash or get a receipt. The last 3 times I've paid with debit they've given one total and charged another. They won't refund the entire amount overcharged either. I'll never be back

I absolutely love this place. My uncle was the first to own it. I have a bit of a soft spot as it was family owned for years. But, the new owners have done a fantastic job in offering more food options. I will continue to order from here as the food is good and the options are very good.

It's a small family owned convenience store half way between the town of Fairfield and if you're going opposite direction heading to Town of Skowhegan or if turning right off rt 201 you turn off heading towards Town of Clinton or if you turn off that taking a left hand turn your heading towards RT 2 in Cannan Maine but either way you see hinkley general store

The Ladies inside are very nice and being from Texas the store made me feel at home! They have amazing food also! Keep it local and I recommend stopping here if you're driving through.

This is the quintessential small town general store. If you're looking for an Irving, or Cumberland farms you are certainly in the wrong place. From the slanted floors to the at times low ceilings, nobody comes here for the store's engineering feats or aesthetics. The door is located directly next to the register, which can make it awkward during busy times.I'm grateful that in about five minutes and $8 I was able to get a freshly made sandwich to order with a decently sized water bottle. The service was very friendly and quick, you can tell the folks working here know their stuff. There are also minor customer-oriented touches that show that the owners actually care about their customers. Most stores of this type have a large hand-written sign stating that there is a minimum transaction to use a card; none here. There are local photos strewn across the store. There's a picnic bench away from the store under some trees.While I don't have reason to come by here often, this store will probably be where I spend my lunch money. The food I had was great, service was great and it seems like there are some decent owners.

I stopped he routinely in the morning because I drive a big truck and I sometimes just take a day trip to Massachusetts and back and I stopped at the Hinckley store in the morning and grab myself a Dagwood for lunch. I love the store I love the people that work there their food do you ever get a chance just stopped at Hinckley General store and grab something to eat.
