When we called to make our reservation for a tent site, we were recommended to try the lean to’s. So glad they did! We loved the experience! While we didn’t use any of the amenities such as putt putt, shuffleboard, horseshoes, etc, they had all the necessary equipment for them available and easily accessible. The weather wasn’t the best when we stayed so we didn’t venture to the pool so I can’t comment on that.Overall, a great time. We plan on returning and using a lean to again!

Original site provided was less than ideal for motorcyclists however we were given an upgraded site at no extra cost when they remembered we were on bikes. Camp store and amenities were excellent and wifi covered much of the grounds. The Pool was a great way to end a long day ride. Breakfast the next morning ht the spot.

I loved Stony brook campground. Ms Jane in the office is amazing. Never had a issue with any of the staff actually, they were all good. We stayed in site 53 for 2 months and it was plenty big enough for our truck, 40ft 5th wheel, Jeep, 10ft utility trailer and golf cart, the only problem I seen or had with our site is it is not level. We had to fight getting it leveled, other sites in the main upper area for campers all look somewhat unlevel tho. The pool is huge 20x40 and always clear and clean, the pool man does a great job. The new owner Mike was always working his butt off getting the best the way he wants. The roads do wash out with lots of heavy rain, which we did get rain over half the 2 months we were there, but still drivable. We had a blast riding our golf cart around the campground and the road around it. The laundry room is dark, they definitely need to fix the lights in there, other than that it was great. Washers and dryers both worked great the whole time we were there. They are 2.25$ a load for each. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but once so I can’t say how it really is, other than it was ok. I will also say that out of all the campgrounds I have traveled to in the pass 3 years, this is by far the only place I’ve seen where everyone(almost everyone) picks up their dog poop, I didn’t see but a few times in the back area where the tents are. If we ever have to come back to this area for another shutdown we will definitely stay here again.

What an amazing campground! We have visited here for over 20 years and each year our stay is wonderful, filled with fun and happy times. The best part of this campground is it is located so close to many other outdoor activities, the mountains, the river, the ski slopes and tranquil hidden gem places to visit. Each time we visit, we explore new places. We love the food at the store where they offer the most delicious meals from breakfast, lunch and prime rib dinners (OH, so good) that even brings in the locals for Friday night specials. This campground is a piece of heaven and we highly recommend it to everyone who wants to have all the experiences a place away from home could offer! Always a welcoming atmosphere from the owners and everyone! Diane and Dan!

We stayed here in our SuperC MH with an enclosed trailer at the campground fur 6 days. We absolutely loved it there. The prop.e working there are super attentive, helpful and friendly. They helped us in getting a nice space that fit 65’ feet and the food in the restaurant was very good. I had my first Lobster Roll with melted butter and it was delicious.I hiked extensively in Grafton Notch State Park which is stunning. We were able to run errands and explore Bethel and Rumford.

The owner of the campground is so unbelievably disrespectful, rude, and ignorant I would never recommend anyone EVER staying at this camp ground. Besides the owner being disagreeable and ill-mannered, bathrooms were super dirty, the general store was super messy and gross with bugs crawling around, and the restaurant was not clean whatsoever. Me and my group left this campground with a few days left and headed right down to Littlefield beaches where the service is so much better! (Littlefield also has paddle boards, boats, and more to rent!)

Love this campground! The staff are so friendly. The sites are great! Shady, level, clean. The bathhouse is centrally located and CLEAN and the showers are a great size. The restaurant and camp store are GREAT! Affordable pricing, daily specials, and the food is so good. Breakfast all day! Really enjoyed our stay here. Also love the playground, pool, rec room, and putt putt!

For sure we’ll be back! Bathrooms are fantastically clean. There was someone in there everyday cleaning them and I made a point to thank her for that. Store has plenty of amenities if you forgot something. We didn’t stay in the upper field area, we stayed back in the wooded site areas. The field is just that, open sites no trees. We didn’t get any food but there is a full menu. Playground, hoops, rec room and laundry facility. Everything maintained nicely.

Was supposed to stay 1 night but stayed 3. Chelsie was amazing in the store. Nancy makes the BEST breakfast pizza. I would get huge if I stayed here. Great food. Good prices Easy access to the campground, nice layout. I bet the sites are over a 100 feet long. No kidding. Views were nice and relaxing. Lots of ants around the site so I just walked them down by the office. We checked out the primitive tent sites across the road by the river. These were the best I have ever seen right beside the river. Passport America

Been coming here for years. Beautiful property and the owners are just wonderful. Also, they have great store with amazing friendly staff. Please give kitchen a little more time when waiting for food. They are a campground and convenience store. Be patient and enjoy your time there. Again, very kind people.

We loved our stay at this camp ground. We had one of the River front camp sites and the sound of the River was so relaxing. The bathroom/shower were close to the sites and literally the nicest camping bathroom and shower I’ve ever experienced. The cute little general store had everything you could possibly need as well. Thanks for a great stay!!!

Great facilities, super friendly service. Came in April and had the whole place virtually to myself. Great little store and restaurant, has a really neighborly vibe and they make you feel right at home.A fair warning, the riverside camping is BEAUTIFUL but there is some road noise including some heavy semi traffic. If you’re a light sleeper be aware.Great spot!

We only stayed at the river bank tent camping area, which is separated by Route 2 from the main camping area, and we did not venture much to the main camp. The campsite was perfect, well prepared with fire pits, water, and tables. Sleeping next to the Androscoggin and listening to it at night was very peaceful. The campsites sit down a little incline (drivewble) so any noise from the road is well above your head and not really a problem.Check in was easy and everyone was very nice.

Great family campground. Facilities are nice and clean and well kept. Fun activities for the whole family which include basketball, volleyball, playground, mini golf, shuffleboard and horseshoes. Store sold food and all amenities needed for camping and of course Ice Cream. Free WiFi near the store. Pool was clean and refreshing even at this time of year. We were allowed to use the pavilion for our big family dinner at no extra charge. Great location near tons of activities and local eateries. Can't wait to stay here again!

Labor day weekend 2020, I stayed with my son. It's a very nice campground and nice store. Sunday night there was a party in the lower sites near mine and the music was cranked and lots of loud voices until after 2:30 am, Sunday night, right into Monday morning! Good luck sleeping. I guess the loudness was one thing, but when I mentioned it at the office, they acted like they didn't care much!!!

A very unique and pleasant store with a family feel. They are very friendly to their customers and they have a lot of tips about the local area. There’s a little crystal case with local gems where a picked up a beautiful little souvenir for my son. They have a good selection of local craft beer and a cute little restaurant. I enjoy stopping there every time I pass by.

I booked a premium site. It was on a steep slope. Basically impossible to level my motor home. I was between to permanent campers with a pile of junk piled around them. The place looks like a trashy mobile home park. The bathrooms are old and filthy.

We found the staff at Stony Brook to be very helpful and friendly. We wanted to watch the World Cup and our cable TV cord didn't reach far enough, so they loaned us a cable while we stayed. There are level pull-through full hookup campsites near the road; most of the private wooded sites aren't well suited to larger rigs and require very long hoses and cords to reach the hookup boxes. It was very quiet at night (we were there on weeknights) and everyone we met was pleasant. The people next to us had a large birthday party with many young people during the afternoon, and the youngsters had fun yet were exceptionally well-behaved.

Stony Brook is one of the 4 campgrounds that we go to every summer. They really make an effort to see that all of the guests are happy and comfortable. The rec hall is stocked with games and books, mini golf and shuffleboard are both free, and the pool is awesome! The store has everything you could possibly need. The kids love the zip line and the playground. My only complaint is that they aren't closer! A++++

Came last year and going again this year. Fun place to be. Lots of nature. Kind of away from everything. Theres a pool shuffle board mini golf course river across the street that you can float down natural water holes and water pools. Not your place if you like shopping and being around a lot of people. There's not much to do besides nature things. Sunday river ski resort is also down the street they may offer summer activities.

Great place, nice cozy sites in the trees. Good pool. Wonderful friendly people, good store and good food. Our site neighbor was a local and helped us out. Washroom is old but in good condition and clean. Would definitely go back

This is a very quaint campground, totally off the the grid! Beautiful pool with mountain views. Just an observation, it is up a dirt hill road, so pushing a stroller/wheelchair around the campground is difficult. The store offers a great menu with delicious food and the staff was very friendly. They offer a field area for larger campers. The limited wooded rv sites are tight for slideouts ect

The road into this park looks in bad shape but take it slow and you shouldn’t have any trouble getting your big rig in. We eased our 40ft class A with toad over the ruts, up the hill and into a long level 50amp full hookup pull thru that had plenty of room on each side for our 4 slides. There are no shade trees in the lower area, but that just makes it easy to get a satellite signal. Sprint phone service is not in the area  , and we could not get the parks free WIFI to work. Showers, toilets and laundry all were clean and well kept. The staff is friendly. There is some road noise but it won’t keep you up at night.

people are extremely nice, but rv sites leave a lot to be desired. They are just sandy dirt with dying grass in between and not level (my front wheels were off the ground). The roads are horrible. There's a pool and the food at the restaurant was good. But 40 dollars is way too much for what it is. S/b no more than 30. would not stay there again
