Amazing shop, everyone will find something to love-- whether that's natural minerals, art, jewelry, or fossils. Lots of <$5 little specimens and even watercolors from a local artist if rocks aren't your thing. Owner is very kind.

Mealz And Dealz ReviewWe’re in vacation in MAINE and today we decided to go up to Moose Head LakeOn the way we stopped at the most amazing store.We were greeted by the most friendliest staff! Then the main gentleman let our kids hit and crack open a geode rock. He always lets you hit open a rock for free the first time you come in to store.We found a lot of different crystals in all shapes and sizes. It was so beautiful. They had so many large pieces of droizy crystals!If your looking for a reasonable and high quality crystal shop your in for a real treat!

I came here the day after the eclipse just to pass time and look around. I browsed the various items. I would not consider myself much of a collector of rocks/minerals but I have always been interested in the science of which they form. As I browsed, i could hear the owner passionately discuss products with a customer by the counter. One of them was a child who was very much interested. I came across an an area where one can pick their own geodes to break. I decided to grab three as this peaked my curiosity. At the counter, I was asked if i know how to pick geodes and i admitted that i had know idea what i was doing. I was then instructed and how to pick out geodes and was even given a good deal. After this, We carried on conversation about the eclipse.I have traveled to Greenville a few times and every time the business owners/workers have been beyond kind. This shop is no exception. When traveling to Greenville, I recommend stopping by every shop including this one. Even if you are not into rocks or minerals, this place could activate a new curiosity for you or a family member.Thank you for reminding me why I love coming to Moosehead lake!

This place is just amazing. You can literally stay here for 2 hours with kids and they will enjoy every minute here.We have been coming here for the last 3years and my kids Love coming here.Fred and Jordan are amazing owners and great friendly personality you will learn a lot about rocksNext time we plan on going Rock hiking

Amazing little shop in Greenville, Maine!We had a fantastic experience chatting with the employee about the area and about the minerals in the store. My children were able to break open a geode and look at some really interesting rocks and minerals! I definitely recommend stopping by anytime you are near Moosehead Lake.

Jordan, the owner, was incredibly kind and generous to my mother and I when we visited the shop yesterday! He gave me a $45 discount on a larger piece, which was very unexpected and appreciated! His passion for geology and mining is evident! He has a vast variety of rocks, minerals, gemstones, crystals, jewelry, etc. All of which he acquires through personal relationships with miners all around the world. Everything is ethically sourced! Highly recommend buying from him either in the store, online, or via his live Instagram sales! He gives fantastic deals on his live sales, so make sure to check them out!

Love going to this shop! Very beautiful and worth the drive! If I have any questions he’s always willing to inform me on anything that is asked. If I call to make sure he has a certain crystal or geode and if he doesn’t he’s always willing to put it in the next shipment he gets. The live shows are very informal as well if you can’t make it to the shop he is willing to ship it too you. He has a great website where you can order online. Definitely puts the customers first and there needs. 10/10 will always go back to Northern Maine Minerals

Thought I was dealing with a trustworthy crystal shop.. Turns out the owner Jordan is a complete conman and thief. Doesn't pay his staff, and disappears with your money. Maybe this shop had it more together in the past, but now it's a totally different story. Save your money, save your time, heed the warning and shop elsewhere!!!

My rock-loving best friend and I visit this shop every year during our timeshare week and we always end up buying something. The owner is often on site and is extremely friendly and accommodating without seeming pushy. Always gives great deals on multiple items. This year we spent so much we got to smash geodes for free 😁

Great shop with tons of cool stuff to look at and buy. We stumbled upon this place on vacation while out for a ride. Very nice guys the store was about to close when we got there. They said they didn't mind staying open if customers were there. We probably spent about 45 minutes looking around and talking to the guys. We got a bunch of cool stuff for ourselves and some gifts for others. If you're in the area definitely stop by and say hello.

We love going to Northern Maine Minerals! They have a fantastic variety of stones, fossils, geodes, rocks....and so much more. The owners are incredibly knowledge and more than happy to spend time talking with you and answering any of your questions. Our daughter loves going there and learning...a favorite right now is their fantastic collection of dinosaur fossils. We can not recommend a visit to Northern Maine Minerals enough!
