Every time the help is very rude! Especially if you're OLD! Now their New twist is shorting you at the cash register, tell you one amount, But hand you a smaller amount! Then they play the old game of I'll count the cash bags from that shift. Oops no money extra, now both of your stores ROT! I'll be looking into this further, every dollar they steal from us customers, wonder how much that adds up to at the end of the day?! Pay attention people, these people are not are friends, Lord knows just what kind of people they are that will skim your change. W0W.

Great place to shop, everything was fantastic, except for that entrance. Wow what an unthought out design. Honestly 5 stars for this place if you didn't have to make a sharp 90 degree left turn as soon as you get in there. My toddler was headed the wrong way. We visit here once a year to see family, and it has definitely improved as a state since being an iga, but that entrance SUCKS.

WOW .first time shopper last Sunday .stopped in for a drink and spent half hour lookn around.SUPER clean and fresh.not near us really but if within 5 miles and I need some goods I'll go back.

The store is poorly stocked with meats. Most often they sell meats reduced in price that should be thrown out. The produce is borderline rotting most often. Bakery goods and breads are also left out at reduced price when they should be tossed. You feel like you are a potential thief as you check out in the self checkout. No cash purchase in the self check out. Outside in the parking lot not nearly enough cart corrals, no trash cans near the entrance to the store or at the gas pumps.

I have always liked shopping at the IGA and am impressed with the new store. However, I am sorely disappointed to learn that the delicious ham, egg, and chicken salad made at the IGA might not be continued! Please bring this back. In my opinion this is the best around. Real quality! It was one of the reasons I switched to shopping there (plus they have a great staff). The “pre-made”brand that is now being made available is not in the same league for taste and quality. Please bring the homemade chicken, ham and egg salad back. I know your customers will be very grateful!

The variety for the prices are awesome. I love the "to go" area. Sandwiches, salads, lunch meats, and different types of sides. I love how convenient this store is, always in and out. The employees are always helpful, and personable. The meat selection is always delicious and very reasonable in price.bvant recemmend enough!

Great for quick shopping and they have some great sales! My only complaint is that some of their cashiers could be friendlier. As a customer service worker, I know it's not the best job but at least smile if you won't talk!

Tons of great deals! Everything from fresh asparagus & corn to hot dogs and bulk hamburger. Picked up fixins to make soft tacos soon. Spent $60.00 and got a lot of food for the $$$. Even had frozen entrees and veggies for $1.00! Friendly cashier. Whats not to like?😃

I used to work there until recently. Horrible managers. They are unprofessional and don't do much but hang around. They tell us "get back to work!" and here i am thinking, what is it your doing? Nothing. They stand around and don't do much else. Now I'm not going to dis on all the managers because there was two who are genuinely good people, one who left recently. If you are looking for a job, i recommend you find somewhere else. They will treat you nicely if they like you, but if they don't they will lower your hours, and treat you like dirt till you quit. This happened to my sister. She has a one year old daughter and is a single mom and had that one job, minimum wage and lives a half an hour away. They kept lowering her hours till she had to ask for more. And she told them about her situation and they laughed at her. They said that they don't want to pay her for doing nothing and she should go home if she was gonna stand around and talk, gotta love that irony. She wasn't even clocked in. She said why don't you fire me than? And they told her it's because they don't want her to collect unemployment. They were trying to anger her and make her quit. Same thing with a friend of mine, they treat her like dirt, and make her feel like crap because they don't like her, trying to get her to quit. Horrible people, workplace, and management. Overall bad atmosphere. I always dreaded going into work, just the sight of it made me feel sick, i don't mind working at all. Just the atmosphere and people make life at IGA miserable I don't recommend this store for future employment. You would be better off elsewhere.

Great store. Wanted to give 5 stars but could only 2 stars because Sheena (elderly woman, white hair and glasses) crushes groceries EVERY week when she bags them! She needs to learn toa) listen to the customers (only request is breads, pastries, crushable items get bagged together GENTLY and Sheena is the inly one who cannot honor this request - every week we get home with wrecked groceries!)b) focus on one customer at a time - she gets so worked up and worried about other customers that are queuing instead of giving attention to her current customer which just slows her down more and makes her more flustered and in turn she destroys grocery items while bagging!

Most of the friendly employees are gone since the new store. Parking is terrible. Having to ring out your own groceries most of the time is the worst. I liked the old store way better!

I love GOWELLS! I shop mostly at the Greene store but also go to the Litchfield store too. The staff are Great, very friendly, and always willing to help with questions. The meats are the BEST there, high quality, especially the beef.I definitely rate them a 5 star!!

I have tried to be patient but this store and it's employees refuse to mask up. Even with an assisted care facility across the street, the employees are not masking up and the cashiers won't even cover their noses. I am done. Enter at your own risk. If they refuse to enforce COVID standards on the floor...what's it like in the back room?

First time to this IGA. There are only a few around. I found the selection of groceries very good. Some items unique in some ways. Meat section looked very good. Good prices. I purchased some scallops....look very good.... will come again when traveling rte 202 between Lewiston and Manchester Maine. JeffP 1/19/19
