Loved it! The goat hikes are the perfect way to spend an afternoon outside. Such a cool farm with an awesome back story. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. There’s a small farm stand with cheese, milk, goat hike t-shirts, and one the owner’s books for sale, too.

Did hiking with goats in January! It was so cute! Learning about the farm and hiking with the goats was great! The goats are cute and you can walk and pet them on the hike!

Did the Goat Walk with my two daughters (16 and 13) and we had a great time. Very “interactive” where we learned a lot and just had great fun!Highly recommended.And the check out Karl Schatz and Margaret Hathaway’s books about goats and not least the new Maine cuisine!

Such a fun and wholesome activity for family or friends. Get some fresh air and exercise, learn about goats, sheep, pigs and chickens. What's not to love? Cookies and goat milk completed the deal!

Hiking with goats was an experience I didn't know I needed! We held baby goats and got to bottle feed them! Come on, what could be better. Great trail walk in the woods was calming and beautiful. 10/10 would recommend.

Karl, Margaret, and the goats were lovely hosts! Was looking for a unique experience to explore the area, and the goat hike couldn't have been a better way to do it. Got to learn some about the history of the farm and even was able to milk the goats at the end of the hike for milk& home-made cookies! Karl and Margaret were so so warm and welcoming. Would highly recommend stopping for a visit to Ten Apple Farm!

I went on a goat hike yesterday, and it was so much fun! You can tell how passionate Karl is about the farm, and learning about his journey to get where he is today was inspiring. And of course, the goat hike was a blast! It's such a unique experience, and I highly recommend it!

We had a great time hiking with the goats. Karl and Margaret are very gracious and kind hosts.It was a fairly easy hike. We stopped and rested regularly and made sure the entire herd was with us. Feeding the babies and fresh baked eating cookies at the end were a nice treat. Thank you!

My grandson and I have done three hiking groups with the goats and Carl that were fabulous. Carl is a wonderful, caring , and charismatic person who loves his goats and his life! We just went to the Morning Chores session and it was fabulous! My grandson miles a goat under the encouraging guidance of Carl and bottle fed one of the the baby triplets! We fed the farm animals, then we’re surprised with a fabulous farm to table breakfast!

We went yesterday and had a wonderful time! I took my 5 year old, 7 year old, and my 67 year old mother with me and we all had a really fun time! Carl was such a great goat guide and answered all of our questions, told everyone all about the goats and their farm experience at the beginning of the tour, and led us on a gorgeous hike through the woods with the goats at our sides. Afterwards, we all got to milk the goats and sample goat milk with homemade chocolate chip cookies! My kids loved it and got seconds! We had an absolutely fabulous time and definitely want to do it again! We highly recommend this for a totally different fun outdoor activity for all ages!

We had a great time at Ten Apple Farm. Karl and Margaret are welcoming and informative. And the goats and other animals are wonderful! The highlight was getting to drink the goats’ milk(along with delicious cookies). Highly recommended for all ages!

We found Ten Apple Farm somewhat by chance. Looking for a diversion on our leisurely drive home from Papoose Pond, we found an "Afternoon Goat Hike" in Gray, Maine. Hiking with goats quickly became our goal for the day because, hiking...with goats!Our timing was off because the hike was full for the day. Saddened, but not deterred, we emailed and chatted with Karl about dropping by anyway to simply see the place and say "hello" to the goats. Karl said, "Yes", and we agreed upon a time for our visit.Owners, Karl and Margaret are incredibly gracious and were generous with their time. They invited us into their home, regaled us with the story of how Ten Apple Farm came to be, and yes, introduced us to their friendly and happy goats. (Did I mention that their daughter, Charlotte, was making cookies while we were there?)It was a special time and was the highlight of our weekend. Thank you Margaret and Karl!

We did the goat milking Airbnb experience at Ten Apples Farm and had the best time. We loved milking the goats and feeding the other animals. Margaret and Karl were both so friendly and inviting to their farm. I’d love to visit again next time I’m in Maine.

Absolutely check Ten Apple Farm out. Carl and Melissa are fantastic hosts and have a passion for sharing their farm with both young and adult visitors alike. 100% get to visit Phillip while you’re there. Great trip for kids.

No one was there when we showed up for the walk.We emailed in advance to confirm just like the website said. We also called twice this morning to confirm. Neither of our calls were answered.We brought our two kids on their first trip to Maine (in from here). It was the first thing we scheduled during our trip and their first introduction to the state (we life in DC).I can't stress enough that NO ONE was even there. They didn't answer their phone. We waiting on the premise for an hour.How do you have a service posted, for a specific date and time, and you're not there? And you don't answer your phone?Do NOT recommend. The farm was also in disarray and did not look kept at all. I'm sure I could've chalked this up to it being a farm had we been able to actually do the walk but alas.TERRIBLE SERVICE.
