I’m blessed to have found such an amazing daycare that truly loves your pups like their own. The daily report cards are above and beyond anything you will ever receive anywhere else. I highly recommend and can’t say enough about how wonderful this team is.

We have been taking our dog Hazel to Pampered Pooch for over 5 years now and couldn’t be happier with our decision! You can tell Larissa and her staff love and care for each dog and enjoy seeing them when they walk through the door (and Hazel is excited to see them too!). Hazel always comes home happy and tired, and it’s comforting to know we have a trusted place for her to go when we have a long day at work or she needs to burn off some energy.

Just from one experience with one staff member, I would never bring my dog here. I walked to the back of the parking lot to look at animals in the field without realizing the dogs outside could see me. As soon as the dogs barked I walked back to my car (had been at the Gray-New Gloucester Animal Hospital) when a staff member came out angrily telling me not to walk past the privacy fence. She was unprofessional and rude. The dogs had already been barking and stopped before I accidentally came into their view, and I quickly moved away when they saw me. If this is how the staff talks to people, I can’t imagine how they stay in business.

Took my puppy to Petco and they dramatized him, took Danny to Marissa and he loved her. She did what 3 people at the vet clinic couldn't do unless he was sedated!!

She quoted $80 on the phone, then $90 when my girlfriend dropped off her dog, and then charged her $140 because “it was the most hair she’d ever seen on a dog”. The dog was dropped off at 9am, and wasn’t ready to be picked up until 2:30pm. This woman is incredibly unprofessional and has zero idea how to run a business. She can’t even figure out how to set up appointment-booking efficiently. The dogs she grooms have a better shot at running her operation effectively.

Pre-pandemic best around for daycare & boarding. Now, under new management and the place has "gone to the dogs" (pun intended). The friendly, warm fuzzy feeling when entering is no longer, what is there, is a locked door, the need to make appointment for daycare, and is one of the highest priced for boarding. I must rescind my previous rating of "highly recommend" to a "do not recommend" (my opinion).

I am not going to get into great detail here, but the verbal communication from this facility hinges on childish. They were rude, unable to be flexible, bashed my vet for no reason other than their own personal conflicts, and were adamant in their stance. I politely expressed my concerns, they would not budge. I am not one to harbor a grudge just need some dog day care. Wouldn’t send a field mouse here.

We used the Pampered Pooch several times for grooming our dog (bath, nails trimmed, etc) and would rate this service as average. However, when we went away to a wedding, we used their overnight services for one night. Upon return, we stopped in, paid the $25 fee and left. Several days later I received a voicemail stating that we still owed them $40 for a bath the dog received during that time. Despite being turned off by this bad business practice (the cashier "forgot" to charge us - we were unsure he'd even been washed, as he did not smell as though he'd just had a bath) I intended to return and pay the $40. Having a 1 year old child, this was not my top priority, especially as it was the fault of the business.Less than three weeks later, we received a bill from Pampered Pooch, noting that we had a "past due" account with them! We called several times, and either got an answering machine or an employee who was of no help. My husband finally got in touch with the person who we needed to talk to, and told her he felt this was the fault of the business and that we felt we were treated poorly. Instead of apologizing or trying to make things right (we were return customers after all), she accused my husband of trying to "steal services" and threatened to report us to collections if we did not pay! She further accused my husband of "harassment" because we had called several times trying to clear this up!So, I will go in tomorrow and pay the $40, despite having a receipt that says we owe nothing. But I will take my business elsewhere, and I suggest you do the same. I'm incredibly disappointed and feel this is a terrible business practice. It's a wonder they are able to keep any customers this way.

my dog was well taken care of she loved playing with all the other dogs and the bath she got was fantastic she had so much fun that I'm going to take her there a couple of days a week so that she can just play with other dogs great place great staff
