Is great place to get work closed. Prices are cheap and the selection is pretty good. It's definitely a lot better than a dollar store.But the prices are very similar.

This store is one of the best ones around the state. We travel 1and 1/2 from home to come shopping here. Very well organized.

There is a girl in their named Wendy she was amazing. Greeting people and dogs and children the way it should be. Not just all business not to mention she helps you find things. This is what small hometown comfort should look and feel like she went out of her way!

Fairly clean and organized (except for the discount bins). Pretty standard mardens. If you see something you like here then I suggest buying it as you may not see it again.

Love this store! I was able to find the matching scarf to my coat that I wasn't able to find anywhere else I had looked prior to this store! I love their winter selection and my man, of course always scopes out the tool room...is what I call it 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣 ty for being awesome for so many random things that we cant always find elsewhere...this is the place to go for many things in many categories, they have so much inventory it's amazing!

Whether it gets five stars or one star depends on what you are looking.for.Mardens is a surplus outlet.and has great stuff sometimes and nothing you want other times. But if you see something you want, buy it.then because it won't be there later...

Love this place. You never know what you will find at a drastically discounted price. Name brand clothes at a fraction of the original price. I bought a $27.00 hanging Petunia plant for only $11.00. Big and beautiful.

I’m sorry to say this because I really do enjoy going to Mardens a lot, but this is the worst Mardens I’ve ever been to. It was so filthy inside. There was so much dust everywhere. Every shelf, the items on the shelf covered in dust. Pretty much everything had dirt covering it. When I left the building I felt itchy and dirty.

This is basically the Lewiston Marden's satellite store. Whoever picks things for this location is great at it. Stop here on the way to Lewiston.

I haven't been to the Gray Mardens in over 10 years and stopped in to kill some time while I was in the area. I used to stop often in when I lived in New Gloucester and used to find a few good bargains. Nothing caught my eye this time. I didn't leave saying I should have bought it when I saw it at Mardens :-).

You can get great deals or pay too much. Its salvage so you need to know your prices and evaluate what it has been thru to show up there for sale.Fun place with real bargains. Just keep your eyes open.

A really fun place to shop! Maybe a little unorganized but that doesn’t matter because you want to look thru everything! The prices are fantastic, especially on women’s clothes, I have some of most pretty tops here. 👍👍👍👍👍

Bargain hunting hotspot - plenty of items you could potentially use for cheap but you never know what will be available and it's whatever is in stock. So a bit of a crapshoot. Nonetheless, a good store to leverage when you have time

My last experience was as I stated...DUMP.... that was a year ago...went this week,and low and behold ,all cleaned up. Looks great. A lot more stuff and we'll organized. Kudos to the management and personel.

This location is smaller than the South Portland and Lewiston locations, but still has the good quality goods for cheap prices. However, there are some rude employees. If you don't like your job, definitely don't work in customer service.

This mardens feels like it closed down in 1998 but the staff refused to quit. The building is decrepit and painfully dated. All the people who work their wear 80s style hairdos and are over 40. It's really quite the time hopping experience. Other than than it's a regular corporate sanctioned yard sale. You can find just about anything for a total steal. The atmosphere is just the cherry on top.

Privea are highly competitive. They attempt to keep things sorted but plan on digging if you are looking. Tools, tarps, tons of carpets, spray paint, lighting, seasonal(including Halloween costumes etc), clothing (so many clothes in all sizes-plan on looking through them all), kids and adult shoes/boots, arts and crafts stuff, school supplies, bedding, dishes and serving stuff, pots and pans & cutlery too, for a fraction of the coat at a big box store. Limited registers and always end up waiting in line. Not a trip to make if you are in a hurry unless you know Exactly where your item is (that may not be there this time around...)
