Went here to fix the bathroom sink & did some shopping after we finished the Job. I have to say this is the cleanest dollar general store we’ve been in to date in central Maine. The staff were very polite and helpful. Everyone was doing something in the store which was really nice to see. 10/10 recommend going to this location.

I have just joined the Dollar General app after going here to get some baking supplies at very good price. I hadn’t joined when I bought the supplies so I couldn’t use the coupon price. After joining I used an app online to search all local store adds for deals. I clipped the desired items coupons and went to the cashier and I put in my phone number and the coupon discount came right off my items. This worked excellent and I will check items here in the future for coupon discounts. I recommend this store and sign up on their app.

They never fail me here!!! From the energy the employees give out to aways having what I need and always showing patience as my OCD kicks in at check out each time I'm here!! Love you ladies and man !

Good quick place to shop for odds and ends. mostly for toiletries, cleaning items, some office supplies and kitchen utility needs. Food items are often a bit more expensive than the grocery stores. ie convenience store pricing

Don't go here unless you want your items to smell like cigarettes. Absolutely disgusting. If you get the older male cashier than your groceries will smell like cigarettes everytime! Its a guarantee!

Very disgusted with the gray Dollar General 🤬. Normally I have no issues with the employees but today was not the case. First we were talked about behind our back (thinking we couldnt hear them talking about us) because we brought the boys in so they could pick out a toy. Then as we were cashing out, they were extremely rude to someone I know who has disabilities. When all he wanted was to ask the cashier a question he was told "sir I'm not on the clock so I'm not helping you". The cashier checking us out then told her "he just wants to talk not ask questions" and the lady replied "well he can go somewhere else to do it and not bother me". Seriously?! There is absolutely no need for that! If you dont like working with people like that then you are in the wrong line work. Not ok!

This store has the most unfair return policy I have ever encountered. I purchased 3 tops two weeks ago for $10 each. Today I attempted to return two of them and was told that because they are now on sale for $5 each that was all they would give me for my return, despite the fact that I had the receipt showing what I paid for them just two weeks ago! I have filed a complaint through the website and am awaiting their reply.UPDATE: This turned out to be a situation with a brand new manager who misunderstood the return policy. A very nice district manager handled the situation and called me personally to apologize. Return has now been made successfully. Thank you.

I am not sure where this store came from but if you spend time shopping around you will see that this place has some great prices. Not on everything but cleaning supplies and some food items. Also car brand baseball caps
