I love this store. It is small but it has a little bit of everything you may need and at great prices. I'm docking one star due to the counter employees. If you're not a local or a regular, you catch quite the attitude. Other than that Great place!

Awful customer service. Second time I've gone in and the manager/cashier had major attitude when I ask for help finding something. Me and my entire family will never go back. Go to Farmingdale hardware much friendlier and more helpful

Love this store. Been going for years. Awesome variety and great prices on a lot of items. Beautiful garden live plant section. Very helpful staff. Have things you wouldn't expect them to have. Stop by or call and ask.

Harvey's Hardware is just the best. Tina will greet you and escort you to anything you might need. Harvey's has been there forever I've been going there for almost 50 years. Went from a young woman to an old one buying nails screws and bolts at this Gardiner landmark. If you want to see a old-time hardware store preserved in its original state. Rude, lazy and unknowledgeable staff. After being asked what I was looking for, the "worker" replied 'good luck with that' and walked away. Turns out they had 2 versions of what I wanted. Perhaps a hardware store is not the right place of work for an old woman who knows nothing about being handy.

Says they close at 5:30 but at 5:12 they we're closed and dark .... Door sign says open 8:00 to 5:30 .... Not Today... Glad I walked here in the rain .....
