I'm in love with this off the path and away from chain restaurants little seafood haven! The batter on the Haddock fish basket was amazing (perfect flake and no heavy grease!) šŸ‘Œ. And our fries and onion rings were a classic delicious with flaky and salty perfection.Only reason I took 1 star from service and 1 star from atmosphere was the small benching, and the limited menu for the off season. But we All are coming back for the full experience this sunmer ā˜€ļø! Thank you to the great staff and of course Chef!

Cool little place. Lots of character. More importantly the food was excellent. I had the haddock tacos blackened. It seemed like the fish was fresh as the flavor and texture was excellent. Wife got the cheeseburger and she liked it a lot. The fries were also good

Counter ordering, and your name will be called over a loud šŸ”Š. Pickup your order from the window inside. They have Coke-a-cola drinks in an antique ice chest, pick your own drink from the chest. There's seating at picnic tables inside, outside on a covered porch, and outside on the lawn. There's one temporary bathroom in the parking lot. They also sell Gifford's ice cream šŸØ.Parking: Crushed stone lot. Plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: The folks here were great about getting kids some pictures to color while waiting for their meal. This is a very casual place.

This place was amazing. Fresh lobster caught by these folks that operate the restaurant. Shrimp and lobster melted in my mouth. Homemade onion rings. Wanted to try other things but I was ordering just for myself as my husband and mother-in-law were making food for themselves back at our airbnb. Can't say enough good stuff about this place. Well maintained, no strong stale fish odors, just a clean, amazing seafood place. The staff was super friendly. It was absolutely packed. They closed at 7 and you can bet they were making orders for nearly an hour after closing time. You can't pass this place up if you are in the area and love fresh lobster.

Had dinner here, which was mostly good. The lobsters were great, and the price was reasonable. The tacos (shrimp & haddock) were good, but would have been better if the seafood in them was not breaded; grilled or broiled would be much better, and the flavors wouldn't be overwhelmed by the fried breading. Our slice of blueberry pie was really disappointing, not having much flavor; it needed something more, like fresher blueberries or lemon juice added to bring out the flavors. Overall though, we had a good meal and enjoyed our visit.

Let me make this simple for you. I don't want to waste your time. You're either in or on your way to Friendship, Maine and you're hungry.I've got you covered. Jameson Point Lobster will give you a beautiful Lobster freshly caught off the shores of Maine. They also provide (and I am NOT exaggerating here) the best fried haddock I have ever had. This goes for any of the fried option, based on the fantastic and consistent batter they use.Friendly and gracious service (even when "in the weeds")

I cannot say enough about how AWESOME this place is. We drove a ways to get there. I'd do it everyday if they were open every day. They have perfected steamed lobster. I am VERY grateful that we got eat there. Thank you all!

Stopped here after visiting the beautiful dock in Friendship. The lobster roll was pretty good, but the buttered meat was cold. My fish tacos were just ok, as they had too much sauce and the wrong combo of veggies. The coleslaw, fries, and onion rings were excellent. There is plenty of seating via picnic tables inside, on the porch, and outside. No ocean views, but I would stop again if in the area.

Amazing fresh lobster at a good price!Update and an FYI: perhaps there is a lobster shortage but they doubled the prices of their lobsters this year from around $6 a pound (october 2020) to $12 a pound. That is a crazy increase.

Fantastic lobster roll, haddock chowder, steamed clams and whole lobster. Oh - and definitely finish with a local Maine blueberry pie!

We bought live lobsters here and fixed them at our VACASA rental.Friendly folks and reasonably priced. For you eat-in types, expect picnic tables indoors in a rustic setting. The perfect place to watch the kids in a messy eating situation.

JPL is the bomb. Excellent all around - lostah roll, chowda, wings all excellent. Fries and onion rings off the charts! Can’t wait to return!

We had to go there to try their lobster rolls! They were indeed delicious. I believe the price they charged was in line for lobster rolls in this area. It is rather informal, as you order at the cash register and your number is called when your meal is ready. You pick the mail up at the window near the kitchen. It was neat and clean and we felt the value was decent. If I were to offer improvements, I’d suggest a few more tables on the smaller side, indoors. Aside from that, I was very good.

We stopped here for their lobster roll. To be fair to this location, we were on a lobster roll taste testing trail along the ME coast. So, the four stars is in comparison to the other rolls we had that day. The lobster roll was good, but it was not as flavorful as a previous location. But, overall a fun place to visit! Recommend trying!

The food is absolutely delicious! There were 10 of that ate and we all got different items. Everything was great! The staff are great! I had the crab roll. They gave the option of butter or mayo style. I love that because I prefer the butter to the mayo. It was stuffed full of crab and at a reasonable price. It came with homemade slaw which different than I was used to. It was very good. Nice crunch with a good tang of vinegar. We will definitely be coming back!

Friendly staff. Nice decor. Indoor and outdoor seating (covered and in the open). Would have liked more than two small pieces of fish in the chowder bowl but the other dishes were good. They also have ice cream.

I am personally not a huge seafood person, however they do offer other food that is not sea food. I personally can't speak too much about this place however it is a fun place to stop into and offer really great quality food and customer service. The inside is very cute with interesting decorations as well as the outside which has some nice picnic tables to eat at. The location is great for locals but it is further away for tourist if they are visiting the mid coast. I have sent people who are not from the area here and they have ranked it some of the best sea food they have ever had. They didn't have trouble finding it but it did take a little extra time for them considering they were staying in Camden. Everyone who has gone here has not been disappointing and will enjoy a great meal with great customer service. The inside has lots of antique looking items around as well as decoration. They are very quick with their food and it will be served to you quickly as well as having a good price for the meal. Overall, a great place to come and visit. Even though it is a little away from the larger towns, this is where you will want to come and get some "local lobstah"

The food is VERY fresh! We love seeing the families with kids having fun together. The wait staff is very attentive. The atmosphere is rustic with picnic tables. Great food and charming. And quality ice cream and shakes.

What a gem. All of the seafood was excellent, the haddock tacos were perfectly seasoned, just enough kick. The scallops were seated to the perfect fineness. The French fries were truly homemade and the cole slaw was the best in a long time. Don't skip the hand dipped ice cream.

Outstanding everything! The food is so good. Blueberry pie is the best. And service is fantastic. We asked for hot sauce to use with our seafood because we're originally midwesterners and we like it that way. They didn't have any but a few minutes later they did because they popped down to Wallace's and bought us some. I would go back so many times just for the service but the food is delicious and plenty of reason to go back on its own!
