Love this used book store. So many books to dig through and find treasures for a good price. Was able to find a book I needed for my collection, a twilight book I was looking for and another LKH book to add to that collection. Prepare to spend a few hours getting lost in there.Also there is a beautiful kitty there that loves pets💙

So happy to see a local bookstore still open! Couldn’t believe my luck when I drove by. Had a great selection of books, a friendly feline, and the owner was very helpful! Found some great books and a good environment you don’t get much anymore.

Cool used bookshop with many different nooks and crannies to explore. I'd turn a corner and find more bookshelves and a chair that invited me to sit down and stay a while as I read through the synopsis of countless books. The two shop cats were also a delight.

Great book shop!! Awesome nooks to read and get lost out to sea in all the stories this shop holds. Not to mention the sweet orange tabby shop cat. And this guy definitely has the best seat in the house atop any story book land

Great used book store, packed to the brim with books from all eras. You could spend hours discovering new sections with huge caches of books, and the friendly bookstore cat will keep you company as you browse. I love this place and try to visit every year I come up to Maine. Some clear posted hours would help!

Absolutely love love looooove this shop!! Not only does it have a HUGE spectrum of books (both old and new), but it also has resident sibling cats, Bonnie and Clyde! The owner is so kind and actually knows what he's talking about!The only time I would never recommend this shop is if you shouldn't be allowed in any bookshop without adult supervision. (I still sneak out and run to this shop when no one's looking! 😂🤭😈)

Great selection of used books with friendly and knowledgeable staff (human and feline). When we visited there was a very strong smell of food, maybe human, probably cat. We persevered because books but it was a close one.

Went here each time I visited Freeport, ME. Matter of fact, just went here on Saturday when I went to Freeport, ME last. I got an old 70s National Geographic magazine issue with an article on the Vikings, a children's book on the Vikings as well as a coloring book on the Celts. I almost got some other books that looked interesting, especially the Anglo-Saxon dictionary you had. Loved your two cats too, BTW. What breed are they? One of them tried to eat a price tag so I stopped it from eating it just in time. Will be sure to come back the next time I visit Freeport. Always a great selection of used books to choose from to purchase. A++++++++

I stopped here for the first time today. I loved how unique everything was. I also noticed a collection of antique postcards as I was checking out. I feel like I could spend hours here and enjoy getting lost and discovering so many unique books. :D

Great little shop. Stopped in to get some Stephen King books and was not disappointed, they had every one I could want. Prices were very reasonable for a used book store. Cant wait to go back!

Fantastic selection of books but buyer BEWARE....books are missing pages, written in, damaged bindings, etc...and if you're looking to see books...you will get less than a reasonable amount for books...one batch of old books was taken for $8.00 and later the books were found on the shelves marked for up to $20 each...that's 20 antique books they bought for $8 and sold for a couple of thousands...have heard many bad reports from other book dealers...refuse to go to them any more and haven't been in in over 8 years....
