It was wonderful, but I can find cheaper prices online. They had many different buildings, one for hunting, home goods, skiing, and clothing! It was really nice! There is a giant boot, which was fun to have your picture taken.

Very nice store and even nicer employees who were very helpful. We are glad we stopped in and bought some items for the home here. The store has a lot of local artwork for sale, in addition to unique products we can’t find elsewhere. Lots of artwork, decor, kitchen, and bath products. Very high end at reasonable prices. Can’t wait to stop back

Recently wanted to purchase some wind chimes which were not listed on their website. I had purchased before from the home store at their flagship location. Upon calling I was greeted by a friendly employee who explained the options available and their differences. Took my order over the phone and said it would be shipped later that day. The wind chimes (modeled after buoys in various harbors around the country and made in the USA) were delivered for free two days later and before Christmas! Excellent customer service and quality items offered for sale.

Service was good, but checking out left a bad taste in my mouth. The woman at check out was wearing an offensive political pin that is fine for people who agree with her politics but is hateful to others. Can a person shop at LL Bean without having radical political messaging shoved down their throats?

Sept 2023, Labor Day weekend at the LL Bean Home Store in Freeport,ME. What Labor Day SALES? I should have stayed home because the drive up from Westchester, NY was not worth the trip. On our last trip in 2019, there were SALES galore all over the Home Store. We even purchased a two set of towels at a nice price. Upstarts they had a plethora of bathroom towels and mats, this year on our 2023 trip we couldn’t believe our eyes the selection of bathroom towels was shockingly low. Plus, most of the towels sets were already bundled as a set. You really couldn’t look through each towel to see if they had snags, you had to take the bundle and hope when you got it home it had no snags. Like the other LL Bean stores we visited that day they wanted you to open an LL Bean Credit Card to get 25 percent off the original price, are they for real. All and all, the LL Bean Home Store was NOT worth the drive because the SALES could not be found as in the past years.

We visited the LL Bean Home store while traveling with our children (5 & 7) several weeks ago. Not only was the store beautiful and had great products but the staff was great as well. Unfortunately, while we were there our kids both lost their sunglasses. We didn't realize this until days later. After re-tracing our steps, we finally called LL Bean 2+ weeks after being there. The salesperson was so helpful & polite & FOUND THE SUNGLASSES!!! They were returned to us today. THANK YOU LL BEAN!

Loved it. Great flannel sheets and there is no substitute for fondling them before purchase. Well started and fun local products too. Separate building from main store. Fun kids playhouses out front.

My comment is more about the staff than of the store. There appeared to be far more staff than customers. Although this is typically a good thing, when it's noticeable it feels odd. Our visit was marred by a group of female sales associates who were congregated by the registers and were socializing. When we asked if we could leave items at the register so that we could continue shopping, they looked visibly annoyed that we had interrupted their discussion. Our question was answered with a "yup" then they turned to face each other and resumed their conversation. We were not assisted at this point and we were left not knowing where to leave the items. I had to interrupt them a second time to ask and that was greeted with a sigh of irritation and a vague finger point to the general vicinity of the registers. Their conversation resumed a second time. I then had to walk by them and squeeze by one of the associates who had her back to me and who was standing right beside the sales counter. I had to say "excuse me" and have her move. She did not stop talking to her colleagues and barely moved 6" out of the way. Our typical L. L. Bean experiences (and certainly at the main store) have been greater than any other shopping experience. The home store was such a noticeable departure from that norm that we concluded that the home store employees were failed main store employees and that's were the company stored them. The overall experience certainly left us vowing that we would not return and would question the potential purchase of any future items from the home store or through the catalogue.

They can monogram in the store!Towels, throws, stockings, sheets etc etc go to gifts.1 of a kind finds, local products, nautical maps, lamps, furniture, and bedding. THE place to get your flannel sheets. This store always looms amazing and the staff is really helpful, friendly and happy.

They have a dedicated bedding section on second floor. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Non LLBean stuff in the kitchen section is over priced. Almost always you can find them cheaper elsewhere.

Worth a visit. Busy during the day especially on the weekends. However, if you are staying somewhere near by, the flagship store is open 24 hrs and no one is there after 11pm.

Won't let you in without a mask on.. if I could give negative stars for how I was treated I would.. pound sand beans you lost thousands of dollars from me a year!! Masks don't work.. it should be a choice!!

Great variety of things that are not your typical LL Bean "boots and gear". Kind of pricey.
