Very cute. Variety of products, from outdoors, hunting, retail and home. Nice and friendly staff. Everyone seemed to want to help. One of the associates took a family photo for us, near the entrance by the LL Bean boot. He also went out of his way to come tell us the history of the clock indoors. He was fantastic and seemed very happy about working there. Everyone was extremely nice.A lot to look at.

L.L.Bean flagship store is awesome. This was on our bucket list for a few years and as of today we can scratch it off. It was awesome. One could spend several days in this area. We thought that it was only going to be one big store. We were wrong. There is several stores with different themes in each one. There is plenty of parking. These stores are very pet friendly. The employees are very friendly and helpful. You won’t be disappointed. They also give you a 10% discount if you are active military or a veteran. There are plenty of restaurant choices within walking distance. If you enjoy shopping you need to come here. We can’t wait to plan another trip to return. We highly recommend this L.L.Bean.

We went for the Northern Light event that continues through all of December. The reindeer were great. Loved the warming benches. My son Zane bought a couple of hats and enjoyed the shopping and people watching.

Yeah its Beans, cool place to visit once every 3 years or so. Nice clean store lots of things to check out and see.Guns and ammo is over priced if you are in the market. Better to spend that money at a local mom and pop shop.

The flagship campus has become part of our annual wintertime destination - it’s a great place to visit during the holidays, take advantage of the free events including a visit to Santa’s reindeers, and outdoor activities (skating and curling, hot coco, over the past two years). The store is very well stocked with merchandise and size runs, friendly helpful staff, does inside embroidery, and is open 24 hours. Each area has a stand alone store or wing of the main store on the campus, for the most part (home store, ski, hunting, etc) so plan to park close by and shuttle your purchases and of course dress in layers and wear comfortable shoes (or buy it new) while you’re there. The outlet store is across the street in the outlet/mall area and it’s always bursting with merchandise, so check your wish lis there first incase you find a bargain.

I have always been an LL Bean fan, but past 2 times I have been to store, they don't have a lot of product. It looks like a lot but a lot of it was all 1 size, small or 3x. I was able to find 1pr if pants in my size with clerks help. Staff were very polite and helpful. I was disappointed in the loss of most of the dressing rooms they used to have. I would not want to be there when store was busy. I was upset that Ll bean canvas bags that were available to shop with were not fur sale. They had a really pretty one. They did not have that one for sale in the area they sold bags. I did not want another bag. I Guess I'm disappointed with them in past 2yrs. They used to be much better and kind of set the bar high to keep customers satisfied with product and service Service is still good, amount of product is disappointing.

Absolutely stunning and can be a bit overwhelming as you need to plan to spend some time here. 2 floors. Clean bathrooms. Selections like you could never imagine. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. No doubt that you can find what you are looking for…in fact you will find a few things you were not looking for.

As a local from Freeport, Maine, I absolutely adore LL Bean! Their free events in the summer are fantastic. From outdoor concerts to family-friendly activities, there's always something fun going on. Plus, their commitment to quality outdoor gear and excellent customer service make them a cornerstone of our community.

We arrived early, at about 8:30 and beat the traffic. There is plenty of free parking with several different stores to walk through. Ben and Jerry's is on the premises. The store is currently remodeling but will be great when it's finished.Don't skip on the Home store!! It was my favorite!

It’s been a long time coming to finally visit the flagship store of my favorite outdoor brand. My last visit to Maine just didn’t provide me the right opportunity to visit, but this time it did. The store being 24 hours is really unique and awesome, but just the imprint of it all is amazing. This company has built an entire village to serve all of the downeast and central Maine people. It’s something you just have to see for yourself.

Gotta get that photo op with the gigantic boot. We didn't leave with one, but did leave with a few other merchandise. This is one of the many LL Bean stores in the shopping strip, so don't get confused with the 24 hour store and the outlet across the street. There's also a neat little park in the center to hang out in between the center of all their stores. This store has the best customer service and we love that it offers more petite sizes! There are plenty of registers open and the line moves quickly.

Hadn’t been back to LL Bean since they had the indoor trout pond. Still remember going to the original store with my Fad back in the old days when you had to climb the stairs to the sales floor. Yes, it has changed! There are four stores now nicely stocked with a great selection of quality goods and awesome sales staff to assist you.

Native Mainer here! The LLBean store is always a fun stop when I’m in the Freeport area. Used their monogramming service for the first time and it was perfect!! Friendly staff with a <1hr turnaround. I love my custom “pickles” bag so much ♡

Great store with everything for the outdoor adventure. Enjoyed the visit and appreciated the opportunity to experience a different life from mine. To tell the truth, there was very little here for a visitor from Florida

We always love visiting when we find ourselves in Freeport. James in the shoe department was very kind and helpful. Bean gives back to its community in many ways. From their beach hut at Crescent Beach State Park to free coffees in the morning after yoga in the park, they’re always generous and make everyone feel welcomed.

I haven't been here in many, many years so I was surprised to see how much it has grown. LL Bean has many buildings now. They offer just about anything you can think of for the outdoors. Good quality clothing. It's the Christmas season so it was extremely busy. A fun stop on our way north.

Been a fan for a while, but they seem to be going the same way as any other American company. As you can see from my photo, all 3 pair of bean boots in mens 10 have 3 different sizes. And these are just the 3 I have with me. I have no store near me in the SE, so I have to order online. Yet they take away the excellent warranty and charge me return shipping for this level of variance in their product? By the time I’ve found the correct boot that fits, I’ve paid double (hyperbole for emphasis)the cost in shipping back returns at $7 a pop. There were many other options they could’ve taken to “address” the non existent problems with their lifetime warranty. They chose scorched earth. And I do believe my photo gives some insight as to why they did that.

I’m not quite sure what the buzz is about? A couple people recommended that we go to this place to check it out. We don’t really purchase LL Bean things normally and this was just a super large version of the stores. It was impressive how much clothes and items they had and of course the big shoe.

My boyfriend and I visited late today after a full day in Portland. We had a lovely visit, thanks to Amy, Spenser, Jean, and Steve. The staff was so great and it was absolutely amazing that I was able to get items monogrammed at 9pm. We had a great time shopping this store and are even bigger L.L. Bean fans after this experience! Also to those asking: dogs ARE allowed in the store and our dog George received a lot of love!

This is such a cool spot. If you get the chance, go check out the campus. Beautiful campus with multiple stores and great selection of clothing, gear, and furniture. Really enjoyed it.

What can I say it’s LL. Bean, the place is awesome. They have everything you would need in the outdoors with a wide selection. They don’t have the biggest fishing selection though. Other than that the store is great. We we’re also there very late and they were still open which was very nice, few stores would still be open.

Nice place to look around or buy something. They always have something going around. Especially in the weekends. Worth the visit.

This L.L.Bean flagship store is nice. I’ve been here several times over 8 yrs. I love the jelly lobster candy the company has at the register area. The customer service here is patient friendly and understanding. Love that your stores have a 10% military discount(active duty and veteran).I love the chestnut trees out in the parking lot area. The location is beautiful. The selection of outdoor wear, summer clothing, boating gear, and etc. is wonderful and makes you want to just buy something.I’ve outfitted my family and a few of my homes with merchandise from L.L. Bean for years. A lot of my merchandise has lasted to present day. Still going strong. Wonderful place to shop. Love all the displays every time I visit in the north flagship store or any location in the south.

We went here while in Portland for a few days. It’s easy to get to as it’s only a few miles from the highway. There’s plenty of parking nearby. The store is big and has a lot of items available. The store is really well organized so it’s easy to find the different kinds of stuff you’re looking for. The prices are good so it’s a good place to shop for yourself or for gifts. The staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

It’s a small village, with several building full of LL Bean goods - but hardly a sale in site and prices generally more expensive than anywhere else you can get LL Bean… doesn’t make sense….

Late night shopping visit for quality items for bd present. Found a great pair of sneakers for myself as well. Absolutely a plus store that was organized, clean with plenty of stock to choose from. Staff were all amazing.

The other patrons were so friendly and nice! They answered all my questions, and I never needed to look for staff. The one staff member I saw, however, made me laugh because he was dancing to the in-store music. I got a great camping chair

Absolutely gorgeous & amazing complex! Worth the stop in Freeport, a very cute little town full of shops & Maine ambiance. Fun no matter what season. The LL Bean store is massive, has several buildings, & is set up like a giant hunting lodge in style, with several displays that are very cool to see, including many stuffed (taxidermied) animals such as moose, deer, bear, etc. There's a fish pond & giant fish tank. There is a cafe inside as well. It is expensive for the apparel & items for sale but they are great quality. & They have literally anything & everything related to the outdoors (hunting, fishing, camping, etc). Fun place for kids & adults to go. Love it there!

They got rid of the fish tanks and the fish pond. It is now only overpriced products with limited sizes. Super expensive average to low quality junk. This place has a very corporate-for-profit feel, now more than ever. New mission statement, “How else can we eliminate cost and maximize profits for our shareholders?.”All sales are final because they no longer honor their lifetime warranty. In fact they no longer have a lifetime warranty on anything they sell. Better off ordering from another company offline. They also got rid of the big Christmas tree outside. Wondering why they don’t move the store down to Boston or surrounding Massachusetts city? They would be more at home there and I think most of the tourist shoppers are from many of those out of state cities and wouldn’t have to travel so far.Patagonia still honors a lifetime warranty on their expensive yet higher quality products. Anyways, merry Christmas, LL Bean, to all your shareholders!!! 😀
