Great grocery store. There are a lot of local brands on food items. The vegetable section is small but have enough items. Great ambience inside the store. Food and deli also available.

I just love John's...there prices and quality of meats can't be beat. I do most of my shopping at this location. The staff are very pleasant and helpful! Stop in, you will not be disappointed.

Johns Shurfine is a great store!! The staff are always willing to help& very friendly! The St.John Valley Pharmacy is located inside the store & they are awesome! Would recommend 100%! Best pharmacy in Fort Kent!

This place is like my kitchen away from my actual kitchen. The goddam whoopie pies, though. Best ever. Not even a little exaggeration there. I have to set internal limits on myself so as to not balloon up to like 400 pounds eating John's whoopie pies. Staff is super. Hot/cold takeout food is solid.

This grocery store has a gas station and a pharmacy. Has yummy pre-made food,baked goodies, the deli makes yummy sandwiches. The service is always pleasant.

We were on a return snowmobile trip Madawaska to Eagle Lake Saturday night 12/17/16. Some in the group were having severe icing issues with their goggles and helmets. We stopped here to try and find something to clean the lenses. The ladies on duty did not seem to know anything and we're not helpful in the least. They said they had nothing we needed. In desperation and after scanning every aisle that seemed possible, we did find some antifog and lens cleaning wipes after all. Imagine that!They did have a public bathroom in the front entry.
