I have been going to the Fort Kent Animal Hospital with my cats for five years now since I moved up North. They are amazing! I have had nothing but the best care for my cats here. The staff are all friendly, helpful, professional, and answer any questions or concerns I have! When it is an emergency they get you in as soon as they can!! I have been to other vets and Fort Kent by far is the best that I have been too!!! I highly recommend Fort Kent Animal Hospital!! Thank you all who take care and pride in taking care of our special furbabies :)

I would say very poor customer service from the lead vet. Her other workers seems to be accommodating. Every time I bring my animals to the vet they find every way to try to guilt trip you for your animals care and their biggest concern seems to be doing as many tests as possible so that way they can make as much $$ as possible. I do not recommend for euthanasia appointment either because rather then trying to comfort their patients during a difficult time they try to make you feel horrible for your pets previous health history. People there don’t seem to have a heart and operate by greed. I will travel for vet services from now on. Not worth the headache.

They never call you backI was attempting to adopt an Adult Cat from PAWS here in Ft Kent and they added a rule that I must have a Vet commitmentPAWS also said no one was taking new clients ?This Vet is right in town and the Cat was up to date so what is the issue with this Vet to just reply and be able to give the Cat vaccines ?What is with these backward people ,

I was Sooo Distraught, however, you three beautiful woman made the experience so incredibly Peaceful, Healing & full of Exceptional LOVE.... you placed US in a comfy chair, wrapped a warm blanket around US, periodically checked in on US & gave me All the time I needed! Your deeply felt Kindness & Care gave ME the most "Beautiful & Loving Spiritual experience" I could have ever imagined! THANK YOU! ❤️ THANK YOU, for I am forever Grateful for the 3 of you who helped me tremendously during this extremely painful time! 🤗GOD Bless you ALL beyond measure as you faithfully care for his precious animals! ❤️ 🤗

I would not recommend this place under any circumstances. Not just once, but on multiple occasions Becki Tucker is allowed to not only be rude, but she shows no compassion, her attitude towards not not customers but our fur babies as well is unacceptable. For a business to allow these kinds of employees to disrespect people is beyond me. I am not just venting on here, I have sent messages to them only to not have them even answered. Others say that they can bring pets there that have never been there with no issue, but that depends who you are because I can name dozens who have been turned away. EVEN IN LIFE AND DEATH SITUATIONS. Was even told that “I should go to the Brewer Vet and hopefully our cat doesn’t die on the way” by their staff member. If you want an animal hospital that cares about your fur baby with no exceptions, go to Caribou. If I could rate FKAH with a negative number it would still be too high. If you care about your babies, stay clear of here.

When most all places had their doors closed to new patients, this place did not. Aside from that, the staff are oh so mindful of my pet's needs. They always show love and care everytime I come in. They work with me and my schedule, which is key. I recommend this place for sure. I live in the Caribou area, but I always make the trip because it's worth it for us.

They gave us an appointment for after Christmas, then never bothered to call to say that they were closed that week. We had to go through the trouble of driving to Fort Kent to find out they were closed. How easy would it have been to call for an appointment change?

Amazing staff, pleasant atmosphere, the Veterinarian was awesome, squeezed us in, set up surgery same day. So impressed moved all of our animals records to this location.They are 5 Stars. Hopefully in the near future they have 24 hour service. We need a vet who does this in the area county. This would be the place to have it. I can't speak highly enough of this location. I recommend too all who have been... P

Called to have my dog get his rabies shot and was told i needed to pay $100.00 for an appointment i missed. Nice way to do bussiness. Called another vet and gladdly took my dog. Lost my bussiness forever and i have been a long time client. Way to go. Aren' t you expensive enough. Outrageous

10 years ago I rescued a cat who was dying due to abuse she had suffered from her previous owner, the vet said "we will not help her until we get the full money, good luck watching your cat die." Fast forward 10 years to last week. I had an emergency with my Labrador mix Jezebel so I figured I'd give them another chance. They said even though it was an emergency they didn't have time to worry about that. We ended up going four hours south to my ex vet in Bangor who got me in the same day. If you won't help an animal having an emergency, especially an animal, especially an animal of someone who is already a client of yours, what are you doing in the veterinary field. Horrible horrible place that has lost my business forever.

All of my animal's have been coming here since we moved to Maine in 2018. The staff is friendly and compassionate. They figure out the problems if any and word everything so that I understand completely and never judge if I ask a "stupid" question. I highly recommend. Thanks so much for everything y'all do!

Called to see about getting my 16 year old cat euthanized as he was suddenly having a lot of trouble breathing and I knew something was wrong. Was told that they did not have time (took the vet in Caribou 15 minutes) and I was going to have to bring him elsewhere. I made it clear to them that he didn't do well in cars and a longer ride would worsen his condition. They didn't care and refused to see him. Such a lack of empathy and caring. If you love your pets, I would not recommend this business.

When I had to put my Jazzy down they were very kind to us; they lit a candle for me, her and my boys. They give us time with her before and after. They've taken care of my dogs since I've moved here. We're very blessed to have them.

Called in to schedule a male cat to by neutered, for some reason they said I had a no call no show flag. Really? Your expensive enough. All my pets are spayed/neutered. It's a shame they turn business away. Not to mention her bedside manner. Don't get me wrong, there are a few great assistance who work there. But to say you won't neuter a cat? Smart thinking, great way to stay local 😏 Unfortunately I can't give you any recommendations any longer...distance will be my only obstacle now. Have a great day

Only place I would trust with my most prized floofy puppers. There's no guessing about price or plan and they are very compassionate and caring folks. Well worth the long drive and cost.

I stopped going to this vet years ago after only a few visits. Their prices for the services are outrageous. Some services seemed unnecessary. This is definitely a business, not any kind of animal hospital I have used. I switched to the local "pet vet" on wheels and use a vet in Presque Isle for bigger needs.

During this Covid time no one would see my 9 year old to remove a protrusion. They removed it did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone.
