Very cozy local book store. The prices are incredibly affordable and there’s a expansive selection. It’s easy to get lost looking at the books in this place for hours. The staff have always been friendly and willing to help you find something specific if need be. When I went, there was a 20% discount if you bought 5 books or more. I found great naturalist vintage books here as well as books for my one year old nephew.

AMAZING place! Could easily have spent all day and all my grocery money in here. Focused on the large section of nature books and field guides and, with help from the very nice woman at the desk, was able to find the perfect Xmas gift I was seeking. Looking forward to my next trip, when I have more time to browse through local history books, just for me!

A favorite place to visit when we are in Maine. A huge collection of used books, organized by genre and author. So pleased to hear that the store is not closing at the end of 2019, but will instead have a new owner to carry on the tradition.

Far and away the best used bookstore I’ve ever been to. Even better than Bart’s Books in Ojai or Last Bookstore in LA. Twice Sold is more compact and the incredible finds are more concentrated. I’ll be back the next time I’m up north!!

My favorite used book store ever. There are strategically places squashy armchairs and a clerk who is always well informed. You can probably find whatever you are looking for on their shelves. Huge selection and a substantial amount of turnover make this a GREAT place.

The smell of old books is rampant. A great place to get lost in your favorite genres. Really nice staff here and great hidden treasures. Buy rare valuable signed books as well as modern books.

This is a terrific bookstore and resource. It has well chosen stock and enough turnover to make it a great deal of fun to browse. I've been going there at least monthly for several years now. Highly recommended.
