The front desk staff are rock stars! Always super friendly and helpful. The back office staff are amazing and so good with our 7 dogs and 2 cats. Two of our dogs are not great about going to the vet but the staff make me and the pets feel comfortable and in the end it's not so bad! Dr. Morton is super knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

They take care of our three dogs and two cats and always find a way to fit us in, even when they are busy! We've enjoyed meeting all of their Vets and staff and find their prices to be very reasonable. Thank you Falls Road!!

I have to give these people a 10stars… I was not a patient I ran in without calling since they were the closest vet around with 2 babies feral kittens barely 2 weeks old that momma abandoned they were so cold and not moving they quickly took me in warmed the babies gave them fluids under the skin taught me how to tube feed them.. they were so nice and welcoming I was shocked they would even give me the time of day …. We are still not out of the woods yet but now these babies have a fighting chance and they gained a new patient …. Thank you so much !

This veterinarian clinic is the most unprofessional clinic I have encountered in my 56 years of life!! They accused my daughter of posting a bad review of them and she has never posted anything about them. She called to get meds refilled for her dog and was informed that they will not be keeping her as a client due to the supposed post. Eventually after speaking with them several times she was told it was about a cat brought in by her. To make this perfectly clear, she has never brought a cat in only her 1 dog. During her last conversation with them she was told that it wasn’t her cat but MINE!! I am highly allergic to cats and have never owned one. To top it all off she was screamed at and hung up on. Despite the fact she requested to speak with the owner they refused to even call her back. They are unprofessional and have no problem making accusations against others that are totally unfounded!! After reading many other reviews on them (lots of 1 stars) we realized this is the way they operate.

I brought my elderly dog here due to a cough. The vet was good and took his time to explain everything. The major issue came in when the tech took my dog into the back to draw blood. I had no problem that he yelped..it happens. But when she yelled at him that is when I had issues. I did tell the vet what happened. After sharing my experience with others I learned that this was not an isolated incident. I changed vets and will never go back here. I've never been to a vet where they don't let you remain with your pet during the whole visit. My new vet allowed me to stay with my other dog during the whole procedure.Shame on falls Rd vet for employing these people and keeping them employed after they become aware of the incidents.

Today I had a very unexpected interaction with Falls River Road Veterinary Clinic. I have been bringing my dog there for a couple of years. He is never sick so doesn't need visits hardly ever. I have been getting my flea and tick medication from them, however. Today, I called and asked if I could purchase 2 months of his meds and was promptly told that they will no longer be providing me service because of a bad review I had posted on my Facebook page.Firstly, I have never posted anything at all about this clinic, let alone a bad review. And secondly, the post in question was about bad visit with someone's cat. I have never once brought a cat to this clinic. I made them aware that this was a misunderstanding, and the "crystal" in question is not in fact me. I also made them aware of the fact that I don't even have a cat on file with them. I even made them aware of the name discrepancy on my Facebook page. Despite all of this, I was met with extremely rude remarks and unbelievable attitude. This conversation resulted in the secretary literally yelling at me over the phone, cutting me off mid sentence several times, and eventually HANGING UP ON ME.I called back again to try and reslove this issue that is clearly no fault of my own and was told this time that is was my mother who brought a cat in? (My mother doesnt own a cat, doesnt live nearby and has bever been to this vet before!) They just lost a costumer because they decided to accuse me of something I didn't do and didn't feel the need to check the facts first. Then when met with the fact that they were indeed in the wrong, instead of apologizing and making things right, they yell and hang up on a customer and then blame their MOTHER?!?! Extremely unprofessional. I have never had a problem with this vet until today. I have never had a reason to post a bad review until now.Because of this interaction, I began reading their actual reviews. After reading I realized that this was a blessing in disguise. No wonder they are afraid of bad reviews. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't even trust these people with a frog let alone my dog.These people are delusional.

They are great they were there every step of the way when my newly rescued dog had hook work. If I didn't call them they called me to check on Avalon, that always called me right back when I had any concerns. Dr Chaplain was very good about explaining everything. The whole crew was amazing. Thank you all! Definitely want to welcome Liz to the clinic she's amazing!!!!! As well as Dr. Flanagan!!

I called last minute to see about getting in to have our 14 year old dog put down due to health declining rapidly because we are new to Maine and hadn't established with a vet yet. They were great in the situation, accommodated for us and got us in that day.When we arrived, the check in process was quick and they got us into a private room.The doctor was calm, kind and sensitive to the situation, went over everything and gave us the time we needed. We decided we were going with cremation and told we would receive a phone call within 2 weeks. It was less than 2 weeks and the box was a beautiful wooden box with a gold plate and packaged so nicely and there was a signed card from the staff included. It was a nice gesture to a difficult and heartbreaking situation.Would definitely recommend

While on a family vacation, our boy Baxter developed terrible hot spots and ear infections. Upon calling Fall Road Vet before hours, Mrs. Jill was able to squeeze us in for an emergency visit! She had all of Baxie’s records e-mailed from our vet at home before we even arrived, and even greeted us at the door!! The vet techs and veterinarian were lovely and caring! Pricing was comparable to our normal vet. Can’t thank this team enough for getting our Bax back in vacation mode! (And this worried momma too!) Highly recommend!!

OMG...not sure why this place currently has 4.2 stars! We took our 1 year old lab in for neutering and were very impressed with the entire process. Everyone that I spoke with over the phone with any questions were very thorough and informative. I actually just received a follow up call to check on our boy to make sure everything was AOK. Unfortunately due to covid your unable to go inside but they have an area with a covered roof where you bring you pet for pick up. The whole process was smooth and our dog came out wagging his tail. One other thing to mention...several years ago our older lab got hit by a porcupine and had over 100 quills stuck in his face. At the time we didn't have a vet in the area and called Falls Road desperate to find someone to take care of our boy. I had been turned down by several other vets or had to wait hours for an appointment. These guys told us to come in immediately and took care of our older lab. Forever grateful that they were able to get him in ASAP...couldn't imagine having to wait hours with our dog in agony. Thank you to all the staff and Vets at Falls Road Vet Clinic.

This is a very clean and friendly facility. Warmly greeted when I walked in and my wait time was minimal. We, my cat and I, were escorted to the exam room where the technician asked about my concerns and needs. The Veterinarian, Dr Chaplin is very thorough, answers my questions honestly and without judgement. Although few people like to spend money at the Veterinary office it was reasonably priced for the services and vaccines that we received.

Our dog, Adi, a four 1/2-year-old Wirehaired Dachshund, received excellent care at the Falls Road Veterinary Clinic in Farmington, Maine, in May 2023. The whole staff was very professional and caring.We were visiting the area from out of state when Adi developed a stomach ailment. After calling the clinic, we were scheduled by Scott the same afternoon we called. She was seen quickly by Abby, VetTech, and Dr. D. Chaplin, DVM, when we arrived. Dr. Chapman diagnosed and set up a treatment plan.Adi continued to improve that week and is now back to her old self, thanks to Dr. Chaplin, Abby, and Scott.Adi would highly recommend their services.Bob and Carol Ann Lawrence

Ive been a customer for about 6 months, they have been amazing for each visit. They're kind, caring and compassionate. With two cats and one dog we've had a total of 5 visits, each visit was excellent. In addition to great care they have provided me with follow up for emergency visits and squeezed my cat into a very busy schedule for an urgent care matter. I can't say enough how thankful I am to have such caring providers for my pets. Thank you for all you do!!!

To all Falls Road Veterinary Clinic potential clients and existing clients, BEWARE!!! I was just told to seek services elsewhere because I was not doing everything the vet had instructed, which was 100% false. I did everything for my dog that was instructed, which includes giving my dog all prescribed medications. I have also had my dog in for multiple additional appointments, just to ensure I was doing everything possible for my dog’s health. My dog is doing better and has not finished the prescribed medication, so I pushed this next extra/ADDITIONAL appointment out to the next available appointment time, and was told by two (2) nasty receptionists/vet technicians (Stephanie and Cecile) that I had not followed what the vet had instructed, which is false. My dog is not finished with her medication, therefore, the follow-up and additional appointment needed after the medication was complete needed to be pushed out to a future date. The only reason I scheduled another early appointment was to have my dog looked at and to evaluate progress as I’m a responsible pet owner who cares about my pets’ health and well being. The appointment, which was supposed to be scheduled after the medication was complete, is exactly what was discussed between my dog’s vet and myself. This is exactly what I was still doing but didn’t need another extra appointment as my dog is doing better. My dog needed time for the medication to work. I was still keeping the follow-up appointment, only pushing out to the next available time so my dog’s medication would be complete. These girls made the decision to have me seek services elsewhere, when I have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG. This is completely unprofessional!!! I had also requested to speak with my dog’s vet and the receptionist/technicians (Stephanie and Cecile) told me multiple times I could not speak with the vet and that she probably wouldn’t call me back anyways. Seriously, who does that??? I have many other legit points which I could mention, but it would take too long to explain in this post. Falls Road Veterinary Clinic is extremely unprofessional. You do absolutely nothing wrong and because the receptionist/vet technicians have some made up problem with you, that isn’t even legit or true, they go and tell you to seek services elsewhere. Give me a break!!! Don’t waste your time!!! It’s too bad they have the market cornered with lack of vets in the area, as their services are unprofessional, the employees are given way too much power without supervision, and sadly, they are undertrained. I feel bad for my dog, who is ultimately going to suffer from their lack of understanding and professionalism.Update:Upon taking my dog to the veterinary specialist in Portland, ME, she was insistent I look at the x-ray Falls Road Vet took of my dog’s spine. The specialist stated they compromised my dog’s spine!! They twisted her spine two different directions and forcefully held her down on the table! The specialist stated, “I need you to understand what the vet clinic did to your dog.” Once the specialist informed me of this, I then remembered FALLS Road Vet had not even used any anesthesia at all. They took her to the back room and ABUSED HER AND OBVIOUSLY HURT HER!!! Anyone who decides to take their animal to this vet clinic definitely does NOT CARE about their fur baby!!!!RUN, DON’T WALK away from this horrific business!!!!!

I thought they were pretty good until they purged me from their client list without warning and now tell me they refuse to make an appointment with me, despite having seen several of my pets over the last several years. I have a kitten who needs an important vaccination and now I'm forced to find someone else. So I guess I will do just that and will never give my business to Falls Road Veterinary Clinic ever again. What kind of business practice is it to cancel established clients without any notice?!

I would not recommend bringing your pets here. They over charge and refuse to work with you on payments. They never gave my cat their rabies vaccine when they were neutered, which resulted in my cat getting bit by an animal and died from rabies. This cost me THOUSANDS of dollars. Now because I missed ONE appointment, they refuse to see any of my pets now. Pretty sad.

I have only been here a few times, as I just got my puppy. I decided to bring her here because I was going to another clinic in Farmington, and was not impressed with the level of care that my old pup was receiving.It is clear that all of the staff at Falls Road Veterinary Clinic truly care about animals. They are very kind and patient, and take the time to answer any questions you may have about your animal. They do not make you feel judged for asking questions (even if the answer seems obvious). They are very gentle, yet thorough in their assessments.Additionally, they always pick up the phone immediately, and answer any questions you have in a prompt manner. If your pet goes away with meds, they always call to follow up, and see how your pet is doing. They also respond to their email quickly, which is helpful if you don't have the chance to make a phone call to them.HOWEVER, I do feel that their prices are a bit excessive. Do these people take great care of my dog and me? Yes. Does my wallet feel it? Absolutely.

Put our family dog down and they lost her remains and won't assume responsibility. What a joke of a vet. No sympathy whatsoever. We basically got told that its their policy taht because we were in the room with her we lost rights ro her ashes, and collar? What!?! Absolutely heartbroken.

I made an appointment for my 2 fur babies to be seen. I show up and there is a sign out saying curbside only and to call a number. I call the number and wait on hold for 15 minutes and I try to explain to the lady on the phone that I was told I could go in with my babies because one has extremely high anxiety when I am Not present and honestly I don't feel comfortable just dumping my pet off. I wouldn't do it to my children why would I do it to my pet. I asked why I was not informed of the policy change and could not get an answer so I canceled my appointment and I will NOT be back!
