This is a fantastic place to find gifts for gift baskets. Unique food items, spices and fun things you can't find anywhere else. They also have bargains on clothes and household goods.

Such insane deals. I love Ocean State. they have literally EVERYTHING. Better deals than Walmart, eBay, Sam's club, Amazon. They have literally everything from shopvacs to brand name bed sheets to luxury 9x12 rugs for $150. Softest rugs I've ever felt. INSANE.This location is super clean, well organized, and well stocked. There's always something new to look at and buy. I love the food section a lot, and the bedding section is humongous! Love all the beautiful, thick, high quality rugs for insanely low prices😭 OSJL is my one stop shop for super well-priced items for the house/home/outdoors/kitchen/bedroom. They have the biggestt cookware and home supplies section bigger than Walmarts! (trash bags, air fresheners, ziploc, Tupperware, cooking pans, pots, utensils, kitchen appliances, santoku knives, peelers, ladles, tongs, etc. etc.) There's no other store quite like it. There's so many options for things, and there is a pretty regular section for cleaning items, hardware, cookware, dishware, bedding, sheets, pillows, bath, towels, literally EVERYTHING IS HERE!

Job Lot is great. The Falmouth store has less floor space (and maybe less selection) than some others, but it's still a very good place to bargain shop. Crazy deals are great, and there are more online. Seasonal deals are also good, but some seasonal ITEMS are not so inexpensive.Check out was extremely friendly, but in-store help didn't know where some stuff was. Layout of the store is kind of odd, and you have to wind your way around the entrance before you get into the body of the store. Once you're used to it, however, it all seems normal.Store is part of a big shopping right off Route-1, so there's tons of parking.

Didn't buy anything this time. I wish there hours were more convenient so that I could stop on my drive home from work after a shift that ends at 6 pm. Other locations in Maine have better hours.

Second time there was not disappointed..for that fact I sm laying in my 1000 cotton sheets queen, so don't and comfortably fir low price of 40.00. That's a great price for 1000 count I was looking for 1200 but they didn't have but they did have 1400 count can u imagine lol 71.95 just s little to much for me very happy with my 1000 count 😜

One of my best places to shop! I had recently purchased several cordless mini blinds a few days ago. I managed without difficulty to install my blinds. Unfortunately, I got stuck and unable to figure out how to install the wand that opens and closes the blinds. I called the store and without hesitation they suggested I stop by and see what they could do to help me out. Well, without hesitation and it took only a few minutes and the issue was resolved! The two young ladies who worked at the service desk today couldn't have been nicer and more sincere in their efforts to find a resolve to my issue. I certainly left a very happy customer and I will definitely return to purchase additional mini blinds for all my windows!

The store definitely has that discount vibe as soon as you enter, and you will find discounts. A little bit of everything inside this store. Fair amount of bargains. Inventory turns over and is not always restockable.

Store layout is hard to get through. I usually give up about half way through the store due to blocking of the aisles. Would enjoy shopping experience more if store was easier to navigate.

Quite a surprise. I loved the sock selection. They had some good British teas that were good prices. Good selection of granola, brand name fleeces, dog toys... And on and on. It was fun and as a first visit- a bit confusing. Lots of items, but looking at sheets - as an example- there were sheets at the front, in the middle, and in the back in a "domestics" specific area. I suppose it's a way to have customer traffic the entire place, but that's probably what I disliked the most. I will try again, when I have more time and patience.

OSJL may have invented the term "Supply chain issues" :-) There's another Maine chain that has the slogan "Shoulda bought it when you saw it" but they deal in insurance write-off goods. OSJL in theory has buyers and line items. That theory is unproven

I was excited to find Ocean State Job Lots again! The store is large and has a nice selection of good deals. The staff were friendly and helpful. If you are looking for great priced rugs, name brand snacks, decorations, or food choices get to Ocean State Job Lots, they have it!

This was a very fun visit. Incredibly nice employees who were helpful in every way, and an amazing array of interesting items for sale. I didn't even go in looking for anything but came up with ideas for at least three different projects. This is going to be a very useful store in my future!

Just a really low level of customer service. Doesn't compare to the Reny's in downtown Portland, I'll gladly take my business there instead.[EDIT WITH DETAIL]TL;DR: Fix your face. What happened: I was buying two things, and asked the cashier if she would make change in a certain denomination. Like dollars and change denomination. no big deal to ask right? Well… not only was I told “It’s against store policy”, I was met with an attitude, and had to wait for the manager to come over and translate my request for her. Job Lot customer service acted as if I had done something sketchy and rude. Well, after all this I pointed out that someone asking for change isn’t necessarily out of the ordinary, the manager got hot and bothered -- "that’s not OK" to say he says. Fix your faces, please.

The store is clean and well lit. Layout is a little wonky but isn't hard to navigate once you get your bearings. I like to go for the variety of different food products that are not carried in local groceries, especially foreign foods. The prices are competitive, even on name brand items that are in supermarkets. Just be forewarned, the Falmouth location makes you pay for plastic bags per local ordinances.

While I love this place for the cheap treats and such, I recently got burned trying to return a purchase. Their receipts say 90 days for a return, but certain exclusions apply. I found out that the "certain exclusions" are a policy that "seasonal items" have a 31 day return window.Know that anything you purchase might get flagged as "seasonal" when you return it. I asked to see this policy in writing at the store, but they couldn't show it to me. Seems pretty shady to me, they should state the actual return window on the receipt for the item purchased, or at a minimum let you know when purchasing. Shady shady shady.

Love this place, like Reny's or Marden's, but much larger. Got a 12x12 semi permanent gazebo for $200. Bra's for $3, bug dope-$4, beach towel for $5. They carry a full line of Bob's Red Mill, and many other food stuffs. Beer and wine, dishes, pans clothing, indoor and outdoor furniture, gardening supplies, and the list goes on. All at terrific prices. Picked up a greenhouse for $49, has eight shelves and big enough to stand in. This place is definitely worth a stop.

I don’t normally write reviews but I am incredibly upset by the store in Falmouth, ME. Attempted to go 5 minutes before closing to grab something quickly and they had the doors locked and wouldn’t let us in. If your doors are locked you are not open, so change your posted hours to reflect your real hours. VERY BAD service.
