I used this pharmacy for years. Will never use them again. They flat out lied and told us that my prescription was not available in the market. I called the manufacturer and they said there was plenty of stock. I called the local Hannaford Pharmacy and they had 3 of the needed script in stock that day. Since buying out RiteAid the quality of this pharmacy has gone down hill at a rapid pace and patient care is last. I will no longer be a customer in any form. If you lie to me or my family about our health care you might was well be called Northern Light. You will never see another penny of my money.

Hate this Walgreens in particular.Every time it's flu/covid season I schedule the family vaccinations without fail. Myself and my husband get scheduled for Brewer Walgreens where we are in and out in minutes but for some reason our daughter is always forced to be scheduled here.... every. single. year....Now I understand that is entirely on the appointment system BUT. The slow service and disorganization of this particular Walgreens is something else...With Brewer we can fill out forms online and just show up and get it done. Here there is no options to complete the forms online and the wait time is absolutely rediculous and agonizing especially if you have a young kid who knows they're going there to be vaccinated and is anxious and there other people there waiting for scripts (In which there is always a line with very little progress being made to get the people in that line out the door.)I really wish I had options other than this Walgreens but unfortunately they wont let me schedule my kid for some reason into Brewer where we would normally go... This is literally made as our only option. I really don't know how this Walgreens remains in business. Unprofessional.

Actively waiting in the drive through for over 45 minutes, pharmacist has been very rude to clients in front of me. Been in line since 10:10 and it is now 11:00.Pharmacist was very matter of fact and got angry if I didn't do a step of my covid test correctly. Was very disheartening and this individual definitely needs some customer service training. Will not be using Walgreens pharmacy again unless this problem is dealt with.

Couldn't get pharmacy on phone, put on hold for 20 minutes, then it started ringing and ringing endlessly. Then I called back and kept on another 20 minute hold. I have a dog having seizures and my local Walgreens pharmacy is closed and was told call this one. Can't get through to pharmacy and can't get the medicine for my dog. Unbelievable.

Currently understaffed w / 30-45 min waits just to pick up already filled scripts both inside and in drive thru. Avoid at all costs if you can get a script filled at Hannaford instead.

This morning when I went to pick up a prescription 3 people were waiting in line. Only one staff person was dealing with the line. After waiting 10 minutes, with no progress, I decided to leave. They obviously do not have enough staff and obviously don't seem to care (based on the many other poor reviews)I think it's time the people of Ellsworth talk with their feet, and begin using the other pharmacies...Shaw's, Hannaford's or Walmart's. I know that's what I'll be doing!!

What a show. This was 3 months ago, Stood in line for 25 minutes. When I got to the counter they couldn't find my pers. Then told me it would take 15 min! I couldn't come back later, so I requested that I not have to wait in line again when it was ready, and the pharmacist said, "No, I don't think I can do that." What? Never going back

if you live out of state, DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY! I live out of state. I went with this pharmacy because it was recommended by a family member and it was the worst decision. They didn’t know how to put in my prescription insurance and it took three days for nothing to happen. I ended up paying out of pocket and I plan to file a claim with my insurance. It definitely put a damper on my time away from home. Save yourself the unnecessary stress and use another pharmacy.

They told us it would take 30 minutes to fill a perscription. We went to walmart to pass the time and came back an hour later. When we went through the drive through they could not hear me when I talked and we were told that they had not even started to fill our perscription. If you want efficiancy do not go to this Walgreens.

After spending 4 hours in the emergency room with my son we headed to Walgreens to pickup the antibiotics he was prescribed for pnemonia, this prescription was called in by the Emergency Room (implying it may I fact be an emergency). I get in line behind 5 other customers. 20mins later, after watching 4 people leave empty handed but with a promise of their meds in 20 mins and the 5th customer leave with meds but return because he only got half of what he was prescribed... Its finally my turn and the woman tells me that it will be an additional 45mins.... There is no excuse for any of this, there were 4 employees working back there and No one, including the 1 drive through car that was attended to in that 20mins, was able to properly get their medication.

Kinda long, but here we go...I would have rated this store and experience with 1 star. But a kind woman in the pharmacy helped me tremendously, turning it all around. Walgreens is lucky to have her to pick up the slack. SHE deserves this 5-star rating. So here's what happened...I entered the store to pick up perscriptions, but first headed straight to the bathroom, because human bodily functions were necessary. An employee was right behind me; she entered the other stall. When I exited my stall to wash my hands, this lady said firmly, from the TOILET mind you! that I need to pay for the stuffed animal I had with me. Oh yeah, forgot to mention. I have several severe mental health disorders, including chronic PTSD, and carry around a stuffed husky puppy for comfort 😊 yay me. So. Anyway. I told the lady, "it's mine" and walked out in a panic. Anxiety ramped up. The racing thoughts collided. What if she stops me when I try to leave?! (Which is already a trigger due to a trauma history that includes False Imprisonment) What if she calls the cops?! What if she already has?!So I go to the pharmacy. Shaking, nauseous, swaying back and forth, holding onto Aurora (my husky stuffie) for dear life, fumbling to find my headphones to play music: my most powerful coping skill, before the panic attack takes hold and it's too late. It helps. But the woman at the pharmacy helps even more 💜I don't know who she was, nor can I recall her name or her face. I don't even know if I looked at her, it's all a blur of panic. But her tone is kind. Soft and gentle. So I feel safe to tell her my fears of, well, arrest, basically. She explained that the employee might have been new, since training classes drill security/shoplifting into their heads. The kind women then offers to walk me to the front door, so I can feel safe to leave. She walked me to the door and I felt such relief! Now that's some trauma-informed care and compassion in action right there! Bravo!Walgreens, I understand that a company can't run efficiently without security. But that emloyee's response was ridiculous. At least be sure that you even sell the item in question! Geez. And if you do, which I doubt, have the decency to pull me aside, kindly, and look me in the eye. If someone is stealing a freakin' stuffed animal, maybe they need it more than you know (No, I'm not condoning theft). Find some compassion. Don't make assumptions. And maybe take a lesson from your coworker in the Pharmacy Department.

Extremely unhelpful pharmacist who was unbelievably unkind and just plain rude. She should not have any type of job where she interacts with any other human. would prefer to give ZERO stars, but that is not an option.

Honestly if I could give negative stars I would. waited in the drive through for a half hour and waited 10 minutes for the woman to get a prescription. just for the woman to come back and say I thought you said a different name though she repeated it back to us before going to look for it. Worst service

SIX cars in drive thru- one hour and ten minute wait! Get to the window and there is only ONE person in line inside. Time to switch pharmacies.

While the pharmacy staff works dilligently to accommodate the needs of the customers... they are obviously extremely understaffed and overwhelmed. We will be moving our prescriptions to another pharmacy!

All I can say is just one of the slowest pharmacies I've ever been to. And usually they have multiple people behind the counter so I don't know what the excuse is here
