I LOVE this place! The staff is always suuuper nice and incredibly helpful. The moment you walk in your greeted with amazing smells. I unfortunately have only gone in while I'm on a time constraint so I haven't had the pleasure of browsing aimlessly, but their selection is AWESOME! they have anything and everything you could possibly hope for from a store like this. They get my highest possible recommendation!

Great store with a wide variety of health foods. Homemade soaps, perfumes, lotions almost everything you could think of. Amazing selection of herbs in the back. My favorite store in town. I frequent it often.

The place is a wonderful, albeit expensive, shop for healthy, local, (and indulgent) foods. If you shop smart you actually can get a lot for your money: the spices and herbs counter in back is amazing and wide-ranging, the bulk food items are priced very decently for the quality, and they always have two monthly special coffee blends to save a few bucks (and spend it on a chocolate bar!) Also, they carry a bunch of brands that you can't find anywhere else in the area.

In love with this store. Frozen poultry/meat from Pine Tree Poultry is exceptional and they carry high quality brands of so many products. Great stop on the way to MDI to stock up!

Love this place they have a good selection and great pricing the smell when you walk in is amazing great lunch options and snacks.However the attitude here is iffy at best I don't know if they expect you to have a certain look to shop here but the staff in thee back where you can buy spices is flat out RUDE! and the rest of the staff is not much better some are polite and seem to enjoy life but from my experience many are just not polite I chose to eat healthy and spend the extra to do so I shouldn't have to fit an Earthy criteria to be treated like a paying customer other then that it's a great place to bad you have to feel like you need to get in and out ah well.

Never been a whale entanglement off the coast of Maine EVER. Yet you guys stop buying for the reason to protect the whales? All your doing is putting a lot of lively hoods at risk over something you know nothing about. I've been a lobsterman longer then you've been a business man and I'll be a lobsterman long after you stop being a business man. I will no longer support your establishment.

We love this local grocery shop. A bit pricey but wonderful selection of bulk spices, also organic, local produce and snacks. Great for putting together a Maine-made gift basket! There is also an on-site naturopath to help you choose from a big variety of healthcare items. Plenty of free parking out back or on the street.

This is a wonderful place to shop and pick up some specialty items of high quality. The best part is the people who work in the store. They are knowledgeable and friendly, and so willing to help you find what you are looking for and/or make helpful suggestions. Great wine selection and artisan bread, freshly delivered, too. It is a treasure of a store. Go there.

Visited during a trip to Acadia, and loved the store. GREAT prices on all kinds of bulk foods for hiking snacks, really good selection of everything else. Looking forward to stopping in again when we're back in the area.

Strangely, this health-oriented market’s employees were not wearing COVID-safe masks. Most of the workers were wearing plastic face shields, that do not protect anyone from viruses, neither wearer or nearby people. The only worker who was wearing a mask was using the kind that had an exhale valve. She was protected, but not her customers.The store was nice in other respects, but I was in a hurry to leave.

I thoroughly enjoy the selection and quality of John Edward's, but the staff is very rude. I know it's easy to get jaded when working in customer service, but I've had the same judgemental and uncomfortable experience with almost all of the staff members for months now.

Fantastic place to shop, great selection and fair prices. The only thing that stopped it being a five star review, is the cup of coffee was a bite cold/old. In fairness it was later in the day.
