I spent an extra $100+ dollars on a dishwasher to support a local business expecting better service than Home Depot. Yesterday I was told by my salesperson Andrew that my dishwasher was to be delivered today, so I hired a contractor to install it today. This morning I was called only to be told "the dishwasher did not make it onto the truck." When I asked why, I was told "dunno." So I don't have a dishwasher, I have to pay my contractor with nothing to do, and I was not given a proper explanation. On top of that, when I got home yesterday, I noticed that a $10 fuel surcharge had been added to my bill. I was not informed of this at the time of payment. Brown says they have "free delivery" yet they charge a fuel surcharge at a time when fuel is not expensive, their delivery is not free, and they are not straightforward about extra charges. I was going to buy a new refrigerator, stove and drier from them BUT not now!

A heartfelt, well deserved 5 star. I called because I had an error on my dishwasher digital. I had already resigned myself to be on an appointment list after having no dishwasher for 4 days. I spoke with Chad, and he got the book out for my model and helped me troubleshoot the problem and now it’s working! I told him “And this is why I use Brown Appliance”. They really are the best! I’ve bought quite a few appliances from them over the years and will continue to do so.

Great appliance place. Large selection, from basic to high end. Our salesperson, Ryan, was friendly and knowledgeable, and helped us save a few hundred.We came back for a mattress, and they were fantastic. Great prices, and saved us a few hundred again! Matt was fantastic, no pressure, very helpful, patient, and knowledgeable.

I highly recommend using Brown Appliance. Today I had a new refrigerator delivered. The two men who delivered it were very courteous and careful with my doorways and furniture. They were exactly on time! I had called the store and asked if they could bring a part for my dishwasher when they came. I wasn't hopeful that it would come, but it did! I have bought all my appliances from Brown's and wouldn't buy them anywhere else. They stand by their appliances and give great service.

Bought a new washer from Brown’s on Saturday morning. It was delivered and installed by Saturday afternoon and 12 year old washer also bought at Brown’s, removed. Great service and great people to work with.

Mike, one of the members of Brown's service department, has been servicing my propane appliances for years (since 1999?) and yesterday when he was here working on both appliances that I brought with me from Virginia as well as those I have purchased from Brown's, Mike remembered the DETAILS of how he had helped me with each of the appliances!

I can not say enough good things about this place. We needed a new range for our rental. They worked with me on a price, gave me the floor model because I needed it fast. They even set up a quick delivery time on our check out day so as not to inconvenience our guests. I will forever skip the big box stores for my appliance needs.

2nd time needing my oven fixed. This was the 1st time having Browns Appliance fix it.I have to say the job only took minutes...the technician was very nice and informative. He even was able to calibrate the oven, and he also was able to adjust my flames on the burners.The stove top and oven works better then it ever has. Never has the oven heated up so qui kly!Whoever worked on it before didn't come close to doing such agreat and fast job.Thank you!!!

Planned to have a frustrating day looking at appliances. What a surprise we had. Will at Brown's was great! He showed us what we were interested in and talked to us like neighbors. There was no pressure to buy what was on special or to upgrade to high models. In the end we bought a stove and a dishwasher. Shopping for important things like this should always be that easy.

The service department ROCKS!!!! I needed my dryer repaired quickly as it services EIGHT UNITS in Blue Hill. Brown's came quickly and fixed it for a very very fair price!!!! And it was NOT a dryer that they sold me! Thank you BROWN'S........you are THE BEST!!!

Thank you Brown’s Appliance!!! We have been trying to get Home Depot to send someone out for the last month to fix our 1 yr old dryer that was under warranty. I called Brown’s this morning requesting service. I no sooner hung up the phone and Brad called saying he would be over in a few minutes. Less than an hour later and our dryer was fixed!! In the future, all of our purchases and service will be through Brown’s appliance because of their excellent customer service. Thank you again!

I was over the moon to discover that Brown Appliance provided maintenance and repair services to the Rockport/Camden area. I had read so many horrible reviews for the repair options in my area that I felt stranded with nowhere to turn. But the service I received from Brown, beginning with my initial inquiry with customer service to the repair tech, was a refreshing and high-caliber work ethic that is difficult to find.

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Brown's. My salesman Steve was honest, helpful and knowledgeable. He helped me choose the right dryer for my needs and budget. The delivery crew led by Matt was courteous and mindful. I was not home when they arrived, but Matt called to confirm the delivery had been made and asked if they should remove my old dryer. I very much appreciate the customer service from beginning to end. This is why I shop local.

Great Local Business! After buying a home, my wife and I purchased a new washer and dryer set from Todd at Brown's Appliance, who was knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. Fair price, and after they delivered and set up we discovered a leak in the washer. They came back in less than half an hour to correct a simple issue (missing hose gasket). While there my wife had asked about the dishwasher that was already in the home. They gave her advice and assistance, which they didn't have to do. I'm not even sure if they originally sold the dishwasher to the previous occupants. Their dedication to service and helping the customer is very well known in the community, and now I can say I've experienced it first hand. I will never purchase an appliance from anyone but Brown's, and recommend them wholeheartedly.
