There's lots of great ice cream in Boothbay, but this may just be my new favorite spot. This time I tried a special - Grapenut. A classic flavor, super creamy and thick texture, at a fair price. They have a waffle cone flight I'd like to try next time! I'd recommend this as a stop on your way in or out. Additionally, they serve espresso drinks.

The best ice cream place in Booth Bay area. They make their own Ice Cream and waffle cones, their smoothies made with yogurt and real fruit (my blueberry smoothie was outstanding), not canned, and real fudge, not Hersheys syrup.The vibe of the place is similar to a coffee shop (they have good coffee and latte selections, too). Seating g in loft area as well as main floor. No soft serve is the only complaint. my wife loves soft serve. hard to find soft serve in the area with flavors other than vanilla and chocolate. If this place did, it would get 5 stars from me. we checked out many ice cream options locally. Over all, this is the BEST in the area.

What a treasure! The ice cream was so delicious. There were non-dairy options as well. They do a flight of ice cream in small waffle cups (which I'll have to try next time). They also have whoopee pies. Definitely worth a stop!!

Amazing homemade ice cream, quintessential New England vibe. Best kept secret in Midcoast. Incredible array of flavors, indoor and outdoor seating— plus friendly staff. Highly recommend for pure ice cream joy.

Wow! I forgot to take a picture of my ice cream but it was incredible. I got heath bar crunch, which isn’t usually super amazing but here it was. The ice cream is super creamy!!! They have cool seating options and you can actually see people making the ice cream in an adjoining room, so it’s guaranteed homemade! I didn’t have a waffle cone but they make them fresh and they smell fantastic. I would highly recommend stopping here for an ice cream treat!

If you like ice cream this is the place to go. Great flavors. I tend to be picky about my ice cream and the blue berry did not disappoint. Must visit and taste.

It could easily be a problem, how great this place is, since I want to eat here ALL THE TIME. It’s the best ice cream in the midcoast - I know therm’s fightin words but I stand by them. The ice cream is homemade, fresh, creamy, not toooo sweet, lots of great flavors (classics and creative ones) made with real ingredients, and my fav part is that they almost always have a no-sugar option, as well as a no-dairy option. Their homemade waffle cones look great. Nice spot to eat indoors as well as tables outside. Coffee and muffins available in the mornings. Super sweet staff.

We visited the area just last week and stumbled across this gem of a place. This has to be the best ice cream I have ever had! The blueberry cobbler is so good! My son had the raspberry cheesecake and my wife/daughter ordered the flight. With the flight you get three flavors of your choice all in their own waffle bowl. Where I live this would easily cost $15 but Blanchard’s has it for a steal at under $8! The staff is great and you can’t help but notice the waffles baking as soon as you walk in b/c that is all you smell. I highly recommend this place, now I just have to figure out how I can ship some to Florida!

Always friendly staff.Best creamiest ice cream in town. My favorites are the mocha chip and the caramel waffle cone which combines pieces of the homemade waffle cones in the ice cream. The indoor seating is spacious and rustic like the inside of a barn.Extra seating on a hay loft type upper level. Also plenty of tables outside,complete with inspirational painted rocks!

Where to start...AMAZING ice cream selections! Can"t decide? Try a flight! Vegan option (Coconut today). Fresh baked pastries and goodies (banana bread was to die for). Full coffee menu with almond and oat milk options. Loft seating with Wi-Fi and ample outdoor seating as well! New favorite place!

Most definitely stop in here on your way in or outta town. Huge selection of ice cream, and an absolutely perfect cup of coffee. Staff are the nicest people. If you order a medium, bring a friend. They don't mess around with portions. Definitely big value for your money here.

Most ice cream shops give you a huge pile of ice cream you don't want. The people running this place are friendly, patient, and able to give you just the dish you want. Want fudge? Walnuts? Cookies? Dairy free? Coffee? They've got it! Blanchard's is head and shoulders above the rest.

Sad day. My wife and I were on vacation and made plans to go here. I was so excited to get a flight of ice cream with 3 of their online advertised ice creams, red velvet, carrot cake, and whoopee pie. Much to my dismay, they had not one of these. I asked the scooper about this, and the disappointment answer I received was, "Yeah, we don't have those." What can this mean? Is it false advertising? Are they discontinued? Are they served on a different day?I still ordered a flight, but with 3 different ice creams than I dreamed of.I can't say the ice cream was bad. It was pretty good ice cream and homemade,But my disappointment was overshadowing the experience.

Stopped yesterday for a treat after going to the railroad museum. It was after lunch and they had been opened for awhile. I decided to get a hot fudge sundae. The girl working could not get the fudge out of the bottle! Ran it under hot water? So I had a dish of ice cream instead. May want to get the place ready for customers when it opens

We are visiting from PA and staying in Edgecomb. This is some of the best ice cream and delicious, unique flavors rivaling some of the expensive micro batch ice cream near us that has lines wrapped around the building. Quaint location and very cute interior. The ginger ice cream was amazing!

Cute local ice cream company. Located in a timeframe barn. Beautiful interior, tons of flavors and they even make their own vegan ice cream. They also have breakfast and coffee! They have outdoor seating if you want to bring your dog and treat them to an ice cream.
