Best restaurant in town. I drove from Utah to get my annual Lobster Roll and drink a moxie for tradition. Skied Sunday a river and looked up Lobster on the way to Sugarloaf. Pulled in at 3:30 and Tammy kindly greeted me and got me set up with everything! Some of the best hospitality out there. Lobster roll was amazing and was so much lobster! Fries were fresh and delicious as well but it was really the hospitality and kindness from Tammy that made the experience! Look them up on Facebook! Saw multiple locals going in for orders. Love this place!!! We remembered a delicious scallop roll we had here 4 years ago so went out of our way to find it again. One of the owners helped us and she was so kind and sweet to our two kids. The scallop roll was just as we remembered it (Bob's Boat). A delicious chipotle sauce goes on it. Yum! The rest of the menu looks great too. They have lots of options for sides. We will always go here when in the area.

The staff were prompt and friendly. The food was amazing. My husband had seafood and loved it. I always get their chicken fingers...they are amazing and not great at all. The only downside is the kitchen and furniture needs updating.

So a super nice woman (the owner?) and an employee let us purchase a bunch of fresh seafood during their morning delivery. So we can only speak of the seafood market and not the restaurant. They were both friendly and patient.

The food was excellent. Haddock dinner was very generous and the small, 1/4# Lobster roll, very tasty as well as Sriracha fries. Good selection of craft beer. Almost forgot to mention the server. He could not have been more engaging and accommodating. Only deficit was a rest room in need of cleaning & paper towels...

Good food, great staff. Some things are not on the menu, so if you see something you want on the market side ( steamers etc) just ask. My wife LOVED the lobster roll (do the right thing and get the butter, not mayo).

we've been several times and told many people about how good the fish chowder and the lobster rolls especially are! and when I heard on NPR they had been selected as one of the top 10 lobster rolls in the state I was that much more confident in recommending them. Hard to get in during Peak periods sometimes so don't tell anybody. 😃

Nice little spot for some really good seafood! I had the Haddock dinner which was a good sized portion and my father had the seafood chowder which was recommended by a regular sitting at the next table and it didn't disappoint! The chowder was full of a mix seafoods including Lobster! We will definitely stop again when we are in the area.

We had chowder and scallops wrapped in bacon for appetizers. For dinner we had a seafood platter, a mixed plate with scallops and shrimp and a chicken figer dinner. Food was excellent and service was just as great!!!

Omg. Who would believe that a little restaurant in Dixfield Maine would serve the most delicious seafood chowder I've ever had - in the middle of a snow storm in November ! Chowder full of lobster, scallops and shrimp and of course butter and cream. And the owner/server couldn't have been nicer, truly inspiring in her natural good will and generosity.

I waited 10 minutes to be noticed, another 10 before my order was taken, a half hour later the power went out and was told they couldn't feed me. The place had only two other tables (I was alone) and I found it difficult to believe they couldn't even offer me a sandwich.

The food if that what you call it was horrible my 2yr old could have done better with her easy bake oven, better off sitting in your vehicle probably gonna have more room, utensils were unclean, I heard a microwave ding so I assumed that's why my food came right out, no lobster don't waste your time going there better off getting a lobster roll from McDonald's

Surry Seafood Company, in Dixville, Maine, would be hard to miss IF you were driving thru Dixfield. But, what you must know is that, it's worth a trip to Dixfield just to go to Surry Seafood. Fresh fish, fresh shellfish, live lobsters, and a great Lobster Roll. We've been coming up here every chance we get and vacationing on a small lake about 20 minutes away for 30 years and JUST NOW learned about Surry's. Don't be as slow as we have been. Go now! Drive to Dixfield, and stop at Surry Seafood. You won't be disappointed.

The fish and chips were done perfectly, not geasy or heavy. Huge portion, a half size would be more than enough. Surry's does the f&c much better than Becky's Diner in PWM and Becky's is famous for their f&c. Surry's is THE BEST!!

The food lived up to expectations. The seafood chowder was excellent as was the lobster roll my wife had
