This place is beyond beautiful and peaceful ! Little piece of heaven .The owner is extremely kind and so is the cleaning lady. She is awesome !!!Everyone here was very nice and respectful. The only part that sucks is that we had to leave but we will be back when they open !The town is quiet and friendly...I cannot say enough great things about this place truly felt like home 💖Thanks for a great experience 💝

This was our 3rd year returning to Mountainview, this year as a seasonal! Such a beautiful area and so many trails to explore. It's a good campground to go adventure or just stay at camp and play some games, have a fire or go swimming in the pool. They have hot showers with good water pressure, bathrooms with running water, a laundry room and a hall for renting out that also has activities in it from time to time.Rooms: They have camper sites, seasonal camper sites and tent sites.Nearby activities: It's a camp in central maine! Bring your atvs, side by sides and some card games. They also do have activities for the little ones on the weekends in the hall.Walkability: There are bathrooms, laundry, showers, a dumpster and lake access all within reasonable walking distance of any site in the campground.

Well, as a guest for a week while visiting family . We experienced a campsite owner coming on our site and taking our wood without permission . He has his favorite that is wrong . There are so many rules that it makes the experience so un joy able. Also, the laundry room is very pricey, the $1 dollar 50 cent, and the dry is 1 dollar and 75 cents per load. Also I wad warned to let my husband handle the owner because he has a touchy feeling toward in the no no spots .

Utilities all worked well and water tasted great. Small pool, nice view of mountains. Easy access with large RV. Price was around $57. Site was not level and was just a grass field. Normally that might rate 4 stars, however I backed it down to 3 stars as the manager was rude and condescending to my wife because she brought a sealed cup with soda to the pool. He could have been nice and accomplished the same goal.

Wireless Internet was a disaster don't rely on it, and Verizon service is poor here. Showers were clean and hot. Grounds were mostly clean and the setting looking towards bull rock is beautiful. The orientation of the campers was confusing at first but made sense after seeing how the utilities were set up. Appreciate the grassy sites.Dog-friendliness: Plenty of play space for pups

Peaceful and cozy RV & tenting lots. This place was just what I needed for an escape from the city.I did not want to leave.Just be respectful of the rules, and you'll find yourself back here in no time.Rooms: There's no rooms to sleep in. But you've got 3+ bathroom houses, a small arcade, and 2 activity halls that they use for movies.Safety: The campground manager does a good job keeping things safe.I got the feeling everyone looks out for each other. See something say something, I always felt safe.Walkability: You can walk all over the campground. There's trails in the woods. If you go to the main road, there's a store not far down the road.Food & drinks: There's no stores on the lot. But not far, there is a couple convenience stores period. Very easy to walk to.

We are new to RV camping and chose this campground for its proximity to a construction project we had close by. We loved our full hook up site among other seasonal campers. Restrooms were clean. Showers were clean and free. Pool, laundry and arcade were bonuses. We made some good friends. People left their belongings outside with little fear of theft. Managementchecked the property several times a day.

There was alot to like. Big open field with hookups set up so rigs are back to back. Owners are not particular in how you approach your site, you can drive on the grass between the rows. The field sites are for short timers. So you are in an open field. The campers I met were very friendly and invited me to share their campfire. The pool was small but very clean. Laundry fairly priced. Showers were very clean, the pressure was great!

Right on the atv trails. Grat for leaf peepers. 2 halls to rent. A couple cabins available. Good events to help keep you busy. We are here full time and returning next year.

It's an okay campground for a quick getaway at a cheap price, and cheap for visitors. Pool seems nice. There's a great indoor place to rent for large parties, concerts, events, etc. And a very large field for outdoor parties. Downfalls are that the sites are close and crowded, and the River access is horrible and needs some work.

Never felt so unwelcome at a campground that we have stayed before. I would like to say that we take only pictures leave only footprints so we not bad tenants but treated like trash.

We stayed here for our (just shy of two weeks) vacation in Maine. Our family lives close by, and this campground was perfect for our stay! FYI... they do not take debit or credit cards... only cash or personal checks, which I thought was VERY ODD.... I mean, who travels with their check books anymore...and why in the world wouldn't you take the debit/credit cards?? Really odd... BUT, they let us set up our trailer and go get cash from the ATM and pay them when we got back.I never went into the office, but my husband did, and said they were very nice there.I used the laundry...while it wasn't well tended (I had to empty the trash bag and replace it with one of my own as it was about to overfill), it was clean and the costs were low on the washer/dryer.The campground does host a lot of seasonal users, but there was plenty of room for us.I'd definitely stay here again, if and when we ever make it back to Maine.

This is the most fun little RV park we have stayed in since we left BC two months ago!. We were invited to a $7 a plate lobster boil with all the salad fixings and desert plus drinks. Outstanding place to stay with lots of pull through spaces.

Has a pool, nice walking trail, and recreational trail access. Plus a couple cabins you can rent. But the playgrounds are a bit terrifying. Made with logs shoved into the ground, broken railing at the top of the slide.Whole set moves in the ground when someone is on the swing. Same goes for both play sets. The tire swings are almost ripped off, chains to the swings are in horrible shape. Not exactly a kid friendly camping place, even if it has a kid pool.

Pretty campground. Wooded and open sites available. Pet friendly and downtown is within walking distance. Long time family run. Short ride to MT Blue, Tumbledown, Screw Auger Falls, Coos Canyon, Height of the Land and Rangeley/ Mooselook areas.

Tried to place us in a muddy sight even though plenty of others were available. Overcharged for items at the store even though the price was posted and the clerk agreed an old man on the couch told her to charge double. Not a very friendly staff.

Made an agreement with the owners, drove 28 hours from Louisiana only to find out they rented the cabin out from under me. Couldn't find anything in the area had to sleep in my truck for the night.

The good news is that it was quiet. The bad news is that it's a field and expensive.
