I absolutely love shopping here. Grocery shopping is not my favorite chore but with the smaller size of this store. I feel more comfortable. Their meat selection is fantastic. And their staff is so friendly! They have cool items in the case to try and just recently opened a hot food bar that you can buy dinner for the whole family already cooked! The Mac n cheese is my favorite of the hot food. I also love buying bacon here its delicious!

Shopped here for years but lots of improvements here over the last few years. Excellent meats salads produce and now a hot bar on weekends. Beer liquor lotto whatever you need. Huge improvements with refrigeration which means more frozen and cold products. This place has everything you need even new gas pumps. Best part is with friendly employees. Guys in meat department couldn’t be more helpful or nicer. They only place we want to shop.

The best place for high quality meat (Pinelands prime) and cheapest gas in town. Butcher counter guys are super friendly. Wish they carried a high end chicken product like Belle & Evans. Good micro brew beer selection and produce section above average.

Finally went in after the remodel. Great selection of packaged foods that are often out of stock other places, along with unique items as well. The produce selection was surprisingly large and very high quality, and even more surprisingly cheap! Great way to avoid busy walmart.

Since it has sold, it’s not as good. They’re trying to be a big store and copy the app business where you have to send…$500 and they give you, are you ready?… $5.00 yep, 5 whole dollars back. Customer service not as good anymore. Sad. It was a very nice country store.

First time visit. Won't be the last!When traveling to Greenville we stopped by for groceries. Real clean store plenty of food on the shelf's. Meat is delicious. Lot of local produceAnd a new set of gas ⛽ pump's. Very modern and up to date. Easy in easy out!

P & L has the best meat selections I have found locally. They have the largest selection of fresh meats and deli meats I have seen in a small store. Their prices are good, and their staff are friendly and helpful.

Their meat prices and selection are the best in the area, and the people behind the meat counter are very attentive to you. We prefer to take the trip out to shop here than in Newport, when we can. There's a lot for groceries, but the selection of specialties is a little small (cat and dog food, baby food, etc etc) but it doesn't really make that much of a difference to me, because they still have what I need on the shelf anyways. Frozen section is great too. Support local!

I like this store some of their items are pretty cheap, like their chicken it used to get super low prices on deals but sadly with the shortage all meat prices went up, but even now they get good meat sales every once in a while! Also they sometimes have some beverages on sale,(not alcohol), I don't go here often but they are still a great store!They even have a new gas station open.

Love this store! Just a little neighborhood/country store with a lot of character! Its an old IGA! Excellent prices on meat, especially chicken if you watch for their ads! Staff is willing to help and happy to do it! I shop there as often as I can. I believe they open at 7am.

Mostly known for their meats, P&L is a small-to-moderately sized store. Staff is always friendly, it's clean, and you can manage to find most of what you need. Why 5 stars? They have the best prices on meats anywhere in the area. I drive to Bangor, Dexter, Dover, Greenville - you name it - for meats for my business. Their prices are always the best. Thanks a lot.

Prices are decent, the staff is top notch. They are always willing to help, even carry out your groceries if they get an idea you need help! The meats are amazing, smaller veggie/fruit selection, alot of in-house premade foods which are fantastic!

I loved this place when the previous owner was still in charge and I believe it's still a good store even though I hadn't been inside quite yet since it has changed over.But I stayed in the car when my wife had run in for a few items and she said she liked it very much, personally I'm still getting used to the gas pumps that have recently got put in while coming into the town of dexter lol, all those years and little has changed here until now, I've heard really good things and I think it's going to be a good addition to dexter for sure
