First visit there. With my senior dog very good experience she was happy so I was happy. So it's been a year since this post. Sadly my little dog got sick. We had to put her to sleep. Dexter veterinary was very helpful and compassonet with her passing. God bless her and our veterinary clinic. Thank you for all you do.

facility was nice and clean however they did not explain ahead of time to type of shot that was being given to my dog who is a service dog when they gave her the first shot I thought it was the shot that I had requested and then at checkout they explained to me that that shot hadn't been given . They had given her a shot that I wasn't even aware they were going to give her she had to go back into the exam room 2 get the shot that I have requested and my dog cried from pain . they did a poor job of explaining the procedures at the time of the visit.

My friend forgot meds for her dog while on camping trip. The vet and the employees were amazing!!! Stayed open late and helped her out. If i were local this is where i would come. Thank you sweet people!!

You won’t find another vet like Dr. Rick. From the first time I went in I could tell he really cares about the animals. The first visit he spent more time talking with my dog then me. (As it should be) He is very knowledgeable, usually on time, great office staff. They return calls promptly and don’t get annoyed when we call too often 😂 He has taken care of all our Dogs, cats and even helped in a pinch with a sheep. We also appreciate him being on call for us when the office isn’t open. We have had to call for a UTI on a dog and premature rupture of membranes. Both times he was able to treat our dogs and put our minds at ease quickly.

I brought 9 puppies to have their first shots and visual check and he was amazing! All pups were loved and in and out in 40 minutes!! Quick easy and a great price! Thanks again!!

We are new to the are and although we have an appointment May 8, Doc gratefully took our dog today (Sunday) because he had a spat with a porcupine last night and a mouth and chin full of quills. Thank you so much for your generosity! He’s feeling so much better!!

I was visiting my family from out of state with my dog when an abscess grew unexpectedly on my dog's side very rapidly. It caused him extreme discomfort, so we called around trying to find a local vet within 1-hour drive who would take us at short notice. No one except for Dexter Vet Clinic would take us! When we arrived, we were treated very well, and the vet took quite a lot of care and time with my dog to ensure he received the treatment he needed. He told us he's been doing this for 30 years, and it shows. Very caring, knowledgeable, personable and thorough! Thank you Dexter Vet Clinic team!

Great people, great clinic! I took my dog Malachais there to get his shots, and Dr DuBois' kind "bedside manor" clearly shows that he really cares about the animals that come through his door. Highly recommended.

My dog's foot swelled up and got infected. My usual vet I go to wouldn't be able to get me in until the end of the month. I called the Dexter vet and even though it was after hours he got me in that night and took good care of my dog! Very nice and caring. All about the animals more then money. I will be coming here for my dogs and cats for now on!

Nicest people that I have ever encountered in a veterinarian office. Caring staff, intelligent Dr, good parking and very clean ! They work with assistance from organizations to get your pet spad/neutered.

After a 2 night in extreme cold HOKEY my coonhound was found .I took him to DVC to make sure he was ok. Doc gave him a good looking at and a clean bill of health. Just a little frostbite on his feet. Thank heaven for him. I was scared he was open on a Saturday. Love DVC. ❤ .
