This is definitely one of the best natural food stores in the MidCoast. I occasionally stop by for a snack or a sandwich. Plus I just love the vibe of the place and the staff.It's also convenient that they have a couple of EV charging stations in the back.

Love the co-op and really love the thick pea soup with ham. It was a perfect breakfast on a rainy day in the light bright co-op cafe. This store has all my favorite things from Vermont goat cheese to chocolate covered ginger.

Great small shop for specialty foods and other items. Good place for a quick visit with a small bag or two. A bit pricey on some things but to be expected.

My favorite co-op. Large selection of essential oils, cosmetics, vegetarian and vegan foods (and plenty of local meats for those who like it). Handmade items, borealis breads, local greens, desserts, craft cheeses, kite hill cream cheese mmmm. Good deals on smoked tempeh. Grind your own coffe, peanut butter. Best fake tuna sandwich around. Great salads to go. Merchandise is well made. I only wish the hot bar was filled better during lunch times. It seems only half of it gets filled lately.

Ah this place has my heart. So much good organic & local food and a variety of wellness goods. Hot bar & prepared foods never disappoint. Very talented kitchen staff. Every single cashier here is so sweet & friendly. Sometimes I just go to soak in all the good vibes. Easily the best co-op in midcoast! ♥️

Review your receipts before you leave the store!! Almost every time we shop here we are over charged because the cashier mis-keys an item. We were over charged $60 as she mis-keyed in our limes as pies. Just yesterday another cashier mis-keyed our 5 pound bag of coffee as a 20 pound bag, pushing our bill up by over $200+!!! We've brought this issue to the attention of management yet it's still a problem. We love the store and it's products, just not happy with having to always check someone else's work at the cash register.

My go to place for healthier brands and fresh produce. Great selection of local cheese, meat,... Well really everything. It's conveniently located directly across from the best local conventional grocery store, and the best local pet store... So I can get in and out of the mess that is Damariscotta quickly!

I've loved this place so long, and for the first time had the breakfast bar. With a list of 5 food allergies it can be difficult for me to eat outside of my home. Penny was very helpful and knowledgeable about the ingredients and I felt comfortable trying the food, so I did, and I feel fine!

This place has great variety and helpful and knowledgeable and friendly staff. The food bar when it’s open is high quality and their breakfast sandwich with either bacon or sausage is the best I can remember having and made with quality ingredients. The produce selection is great and the sales are also substantial. Too bad they don’t have a butcher dept like the one in Belfast.

This store is a mirror image to the Food Co-o in Northampton, Mass. Prices are high, too. Good for special items and brands you can't get anywhere else. If you like "organic " locally grown foods, that's your place.

I love this Co-op for their bulk section. No better place to get herbs and spices. Or grains and flour. Beautiful local produce. Huge wine and craft beer selection. Add well as unique products not found elsewhere.They also have a great hot bar and Cafe perfect for a quick lunch!

Great selection of local organic and sustainable products. If you’re a senior, all the better. Become a member and get 10% off Wednesday. Member appreciation gives everyone 10% off quarterly. Bulk spices and other products are worth the trip alone.

Excellent whole foods store - local farmer store. Many health products for discerning, health conscious shoppers. This is a high quality, bulk capable store in a small foot print. This is a regular shopping center for me. I highly recommend visiting this store.

Diverse selection of local products, food & drink, bulk foods, produce, natural remedies, small book nook, gifts, nice area at the front end of the store to relax and enjoy your meal, tea, coffee, catch up on work. Great atmosphere. Can not say enough how friendly the people are here!

Fantastic coop! All sorts of local fare from dairy to produce to flour, all from Maine farmers. Great bulk section including coffee beans, spices and medicinals. Anyone can shop, members or guests. Check it out!

The managerial staff is not helpful and there isn't much communication between people in different departments. I made a bulk order under the premise that the price would be much less than if Rising Tide had to split up the bag. When I went to pick it up, there was no price on the ticket. The weekend manager then rung it up at the usual price, the same as if I had purchased half the amount, and insisted that he was right because he's the manager. I showed him the email from his colleague regarding the price break on a whole bag. He took a passing glance at it and shrugged his shoulders.

Nice store but management is not treating the Covid crisis seriously in any way! I’d say stay away if you are even remotely concerned about you or your families safety. They do not sanitize carts or baskets in between use. The store lacks the necessary cleaning supplies to safely disinfect the store. Managers ask that their staff continue on with their shifts even if they find out mid shift that they have a fever. The lack of care and respect for the staff is not only is that dangerous for the staff of rising tide, it also puts out entire out entire community at risk of spreading this deadly virus among us. Street clear of you care about workers safety and rights!
