We went there because they do rabies clinics for dogs and cats a couple of times a year. I've used them for years. Instead of paying $50 + it costs me just $10 per vaccination. They are well organized and very nice. I have money left to pick up a nice treat for my pups after at their store.

This place was very cluttered and smelled strongly of animals. Guess that's to be expected given all of the animal products (including animals) that they sell.

I live in the small town stores, this one is a little pricey but well worth it. A lot of products to choose from

They were pretty busy so the employees didn't seem that friendly but they have a wide selection of various farm and garden things. Prices a little on the higher side.

I must agree with others here that the employees sure seem unhappy. Today I will be taking the lead of another here to travel farther to Paris Farmers Union, though I've not been there before. I prefer to shop where the purchase is mutually enjoyed and is considered beneficial. At Metcalf's, I believe the employees would rather folks not shop there, in order to reduce their workload. Why this is tolerated by management is a mystery.I believe all will best be served today by my going a bit farther to buy my farm and garden supplies. I am certain it will be a win-win both for myself and for the employees at Metcalf's who would rather treat their customers with disdain and talk with sullen responses when a customer greets them or asks a question. The worm will turn, so to speak. It always does when customers have options. Business 101.

I am a frequent customer at Metcalf's. They have a good selection of everything you need for every kind of pet including horses. They have feed for every farm animal and a thoughtful selection of holistic feeds for companion animals. If you need a toy for your pet they have many! Their garden center has beautiful plants and flowers. Highly recommend.

They're well stocked and prices are decent. The employees are about as friendly as a rusty nail. Store stinks but it's to be expected. I wouldn't buy chickens there, they are seriously over crowded and last time I was there I saw several with gaping wounds. I know chickens will peck and harass each other but this was shocking.

Great "Feed and Need" store. The young men who work outside in ANY weather are always kind and helpful. The young new owners are still finding their way....Feed prices bunny to horse are a bit high, but they are local and family owned

Although the store is extremely smelly of birds and feces, the service from every one is what sets this place apart from the others and why I continue to return every yr for my gardening supplies, plants, flowers, herbs, and now chickens and all that comes with the territory! I know we'll be well taken off and the products we purchase, will be the best for what our needs are. I highly recommend Metcalf's in Cornish.

Come in for what you’re looking for garden, home or farm-wise, and leave with a bunch of stuff you didn’t know you needed. One great local non-conventional “hardware” store in quaint ole Cornish.

Went here once and they had pigs.I personally don't like pigs, I find them impolite, but I think it's very righteous this place gives folks an option.Square bales are reasonably priced.I don't like hay, I'm actually quite allergic, but very good nonetheless.

Good looking hay bales for my guinea pig. Feast, local service. Interior makes it difficult to physical distance at this moment, but other safeguards in place. Fully stocked with seeds.

Holy heck. I went to Metcalf on a Sunday because the local Ace Hardware was out of layer feed for our chickens. I've purchased from Longhorn and Tractor Supply before, and a standard bag (can't recall the weight but I wanna say it's like a 40-50 lb bag?) usually ran me $20-$30. It was going to be $20 at Ace.Metcalf's charged me like $12 and some odd change for the same size bag, and it's good layer feed. Our laying hen is producing really nice eggs every day. I didn't realize how close Metcalf's was to the house, too, so I've been converted into a new regular customer.

Web site states they open at 8 on Sundays. Showed up to by cow feed and the man refused to sell me feed. Because he stated they didn't open till nine. We buy 15000 pounds of feed a year. Will never buy feed their again. The man was really rude.

Metcalf's is a combination garden and farm supply depot. They have many animal foods and bedding and fencing. In the Spring, they have lots of flowers, vegetables, and bushes. They seem reasonable and friendly; seem to hire a lot of local teens. I support them when in the area.

Always have what we need. The guys are very helpful and hard-working. There's some things that are overpriced but for the most part they're competitive or they beat others.

Metcalf's is the place for seed and feed. I only go for the seed for the birdies. But they are a family business and they are good. The seed is delivered to the car, easy peasy. They are a great place.

It is a good place to find pet accessories. It keeps you from having to make a drive to a pet supply store. However you pay for that convenience.
