We are Sea Kayaking up the coast of Maine for a few months. We were camping on Jewell Island just across from Cliff Island and decided to paddle to breakfast. We enjoyed our visit to Cliff Island Store & Cafe so much we stayed the entire morning. The owner Hope and cook Sophie where engaging and helpful at every opportunity and as it seems the cafe is the heart beat of the island we got a really enjoyable sense of what small island living has to offer. Visit for the ferry ride, stay for the experience, do not miss the Ice Cream! Thanks so much for the hospitality!

Absolutely wonderful small island store. Excellent grocery selection of fresh vegetables from an organic farm, local bakery items from Brown House, Two Fat Cats, and Standard Baking, fresh fish from Harbor Fish, snacks, wine, many craft beers---everything you need for a week on Cliff Island. The Cafe has yummy local ice cream and an excellent sandwich selection, including lobster rolls fresh from the bay.

Great hospitality. The owner makes you food whilst be very friendly. She's honestly really sweet and a great person to learn things about the island. Food was off the charts! Would recommend to anyone if you get the chance.Vegetarian options: She makes it how you ask her to so just go for no meat

Cool little general store that has snacks and beer. When you take the harbor cruise of the Islands in Casco Bay, they stop at Cliff Island and you can check it out and stock up!
