So first year bought a fore quarter of just the regular beef they have. First time so didn't really understand what I was getting and what options I had for cuts and such. First impression was this taste like beef that I grew up with (in my 60's) and very good. Only issue the ground beef was too fatty but I didn't know better on the grind.Well, this year I bought a half of their black label, and it is fantastic, great taste, nice marbling and I asked for 90-10 on the ground beef which turned out perfectly the way I like it for grilling.My only recommendation for people like me who are new to this is perhaps provide a little more educational material. So we know or at least have an idea of what cuts we can garner from the cow. While they are helpful on the phone, it's tough when you don't know the difference between a chuck roast and chuck eye steak.Dave

Absolutely HANDS DOWN my favorite butcher shop! My boyfriend and I have officially added this shop to our Sunday morning excursions. The quality of both the products and the service is why I will continuously come back and encourage others to try this place out. We’ve even made it a point to bring our little pup with us as she loves to play with the dogs of the farm. She may only be 15lbs but she keeps up with them, even Gronk the Great Dane! Definitely give this place a try, we are glad we did!

The Black Label beef is incredible. You need to try this. It is truly awesome, like nothing you have tried before. The friendly and extremely knowledgeable employees can help answer any questions you have about beef and pork(try the in-house smoked pork chops!-so good)The customer service is second to none, and the prices are great. Once you try them, you will never go back to your local grocery store.The last trip in I tried something I had never even heard of before - Beef Bacon, it was so good!(Trust me, you want to try this).Can't wait to go back to fill the freezer for the coming winter.It's definitely worth the trip wherever you are coming from.

Went to pick up my order. I've never had an issue in the two years I've had my dog or since going there. However, today was different. When I came outside and was headed back to my vehicle I took note of a dog next to the car. That's normal, they have multiple dogs there, but today was different. I hadn't seen this dog before. This dog jumped into my car to get to my dog. My dog at first retreated as he has never had an interaction like that. Their dog was persistent and jumped again throwing its whole front half of its body into the vehicle to get to my dog. I watched it agress onto my dog multiple times. I yelled to scare it off. When I confronted the people inside I was extremely upset. I stated it needed to be leashed, and I would not just sit back and witness that interaction again! I have every right to protect myself and my dog. You have an aggressive dog, that's unacceptable for a business. I was looked in the eye and told, you shouldn't have brought your dog here then. I'm sorry, you do understand people have service animals right? Behaviors like that tend to end their careers! Because of your poor training and ownership mine isn't welcome? I was told I wasn't welcome back due to my telling them I would not allow that to happen again. If it were the other way around and my dog had attacked theirs, they would feel the same way! Don't worry, I won't be back a company that doesn't place the safety and well being of their customers over what is right isn't any place I care to spend my money! A little bit of training and a leash would go a long way!

When I explain the store to people, I refer to it as the Disney World of meats. Clean, organized and impeccable product! We're making it a point to make the 2.5 hour journey a few times a year to stock up from Maple Lane Farms. Spent just shy of $700 our last trip and it lasted us a solid 3 months which is worth every penny. The quality is amazing and it allows us to avoid the grocery store!

I was very impressed by the Maple Lane Farm store. I was greeted by the friendly, helpful employees as soon as I walked in. The store is well lit and exceptionally clean. All the products are organized and clearly marked. They have an extremely large selection of fresh beef products. From ground beef and beef liver to tomahawk steaks and porterhouse steaks and everything in between. There is a large selection of bacons and sausages. Any type of pork product you need. Lots of chicken and other poultry. They even have some frozen seafood. There is also local maple syrup, local honey, and many other local products. You can find fresh eggs and milk. There is also raw milk available in gallon and half gallon containers. The employee at the checkout explained how every item has a code and how everything is guaranteed. They will also take special orders. Great prices for fresh, natural meat products. This will be the place to purchase all of my meat from now on. Love the friendly and helpful staff at Maple Lane Farms, the products are super high quality and reasonably priced. I especially enjoy the little touch of humor of the package names, nice getting a chuckle while shopping. It’s totally worth the trip to fill the freezer! The ribeyes are beautiful.

Taking the worry out of buying quality meats. With everything they are putting into our food supply it's nice to know I'm buying Natural meats and foods from Maple Lane Farms. Every cut of meat, every bite of pork has been incredibly tender, juicy and delicious. I also buy the homemade jams, jellies, pickles and I love the ketchup. Another best part is the prices are less than anywhere else in my area. Please don't change a thing

This place does a fantastic job cutting, smoking and wrapping meats and they now offer cuts for sale at the office. They sell hay $4.50 per square bale that's always nice and green, even at the end of winter. The staff there is super friendly.

First year not doing own deer burger. Paid for a total of 20 lbs of deer meat ground per their own sheet. I only received 15 of the 20 lbs. When I called I was reimbursed for the burger ($1.75/lb) at which they charge to grind and add suet. Not a very happy customer to say the least.

Best quality free range, grain fed and hormone free fresh meats I have ever tasted. They offer individually vacuum sealed packaged meats in bulk, individual packages and package specials. I will continue to drive over 2 hours to purchase their product because I have found nowhere else that offers this high quality of meats at such a reasonable price and impeccable customer service.They also offer raw marrow bones that our pups are absolutely obsessed with!

Great product. Excellent website with product list, prices and even some package deals which change from time to time. Called my order in and within a couple hours they called back saying my order was ready for pick up. Pulled up to office, called to let them know I was there. They immediately came out to collect payment and brought my order to my car. Very nice family run operation.

I very rarely give 5 star, as I feel there is always room for improvement.. Not in this case. Randa knew all the products, gave great recommendations. I went with alot of questions, did not leave with one unanswered! Also the meats we have tried since Saturday have been amazing. We will be going back.

The best meat packages around! I prefer locally grown meat and it's conveniently located near my home. They do an excellent job with slaughtering my pigs when we raise them. Very friendly staff, and well worth the drive if you're not from the area.

For many years we have hunted in Maine, and Maple Lane Farms has processed all our game. They are extremely friendly, professional, and unlike many others, you get back the animal you brought in. Because they process both wild and domestic products, the facility is FDA certified, inspected, and extremely clean. All the cuts are vacuum wrapped, labeled, and frozen for travel. They also have frozen domestic meats on sale at excellent prices. Much thanks to the team for their hard work, and extra efforts.

Dean, Former owner of Uncle Dean's Good Groceries, Waterville, ME and still a customer of Maple Lane Farm's writes.I find Maple Lane Excellent in every regard.On my 1st visit Barry (the owner) took me for a tour of the facility and since then has provided me with the best service anyone could ask for and competitive prices.I have at least 3 other processors closer than Maple Lane Farm's, "which, frankly, is not on the way to anywhere" and I choose to do business there.P.S. my new label since I have sold Uncle Dean's is"The Farmer Down The Road"
