Very nice "old" supermarket, nice, small and friendly. We bought fresh there, they cooked it for us, it was still warm and tender, when we came home after a 1 h drive. The sell nice fresh salad to like Cole slaw or potatoe salad. Love to go there again next time, 😊

Sleepers is a unique establishment. It has the feeling of a small mom and pop grocery store (because it has been for decades), but it manages to fill its shelves with some high end items along with your everyday needs.What makes it really unique is the fact that it's also a clothing and footwear store selling all the name brands you can't find anywhere else (Columbia, Redwing, etc).If you're for high quality foods, or the best clothing, you can find both at Sleepers in Caribou.

My husband absolutely loves this sprcific brand of chips, only sold in Maine. After searching online, I found that Sleeper’s Market had them. I had no problems ordering them online and they shipped to me so quickly & are being delivered today. I appreciate such kind customer service & quickness! This place is great!

I love this store. Very nice Grocery and Clothing Store. I bought 2 pairs of boots on sale. They were offering 20% off. Very nice Employees and Owners. They helped my find the boots I needed for work. It was worth the Drive to Caribou to get Great Quality at great price!

If you've never found your way into the nearest thing you'll find most anywhere to an old time general store, I recommend giving it a look even if you're not in the market for amazing homemade fudge, great groceries at a reasonable price, one of the best liquor selections I've seen in the county, or a decent selection of outdoor appropriate clothes and shoes.

1st time experiance. I placed an order on a Thursday afternoon with a pickup for Sunday at noon when I showed up no one had any idea on where my order was. I drove over 40 miles with expectations of having meat for the next couple weeks. I quess ill have to just keep driving to another place further away since sleepers can't fulfill orders properly

Big signs saying fresh homemade fudge however this leaves a lot to be desired! They had one small pre-made container with something that looked to be weeks old! Enough of that!

Have always have great service from this market. Especially the meat department. You can call have your meat items wrapped apon request, you let them know when you need them, and they will be ready. Thank you Tim and Greg for your great service.

I married a Caribou native, and he took me on my inaugural trip to Sleeper's before Christmas. A great small grocery store with a butcher, a decent produce area, and lots of snacks and premade meals. But the clothing section is the real star of the show . Useful practical brands like Carhartt, Columbia, and Darn Tough are available for all ages and genders. We bought a decent Columbia winter coat for my son and it was on sale for $48! A steal...and a lot of fun roaming around the store finding all the hidden gems!

Way too crowded and very un organized. Having a worker watching your every single move is rude and somewhat insulting . Having someone breathing down your neck the entire time does not make for a pleasant shopping experience. Not everyone is a thief

We stopped by so my husband could check out the great selection of Levi Jeans. Store owner was very friendly and will to help him. I stayed upstairs to look around. This store has so much to offer. Selections I haven't seen in larger stores. Fun to see something I have never seen before.. i highly recommend this well stocked quaint store.PS: only recommended Sleepers to move the "markdown" carts away from such a busy area, by the check out.

I had recently purchased a pair of boots from Sleepers in Caribou, unfortunately these boots had a defect ( no fault of Sleepers) so I called the store to see what could be done. I spoke with one of the owners ,Jo-Jo and he told me to bring them in and he would take care of it. I did bring the defective boots back and sure enough Jo-Jo went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. I appreciate a business that stands behind their products. Lots of great name brand items here. Also can get groceries too. I bought my first pair of Timberland boots here 2 years ago and still have them. The staff is very friendly and helpful too. I have also heard they have a great meat selection but haven't looked at it as of now, thought it was worth mentioning. Store is definitely worth the stop if your thinking about going out in the cold because they have the best winter items I've seen around here.

The store that practically has everything. Very friendly family run general store, with a full service butcher shop, fresh live lobster, cooked and cracked for free. Decent selection of fresh produce. Large wine selection. Home made fudge. Various ethnic food products as well, and a bakery with a large freezer section. A large section for women outdoors clothing upstairs and a surprisingly even larger section for men outdoors clothing downstairs. They sell and fit winter sports supplies, such as skis. Prices are fair and seem to be lower than many other stores for many of the grocery products they carry. Clothing could be expensive though, but they seem to have many items on sale.

A wonderful little store that carries all your needs. Very helpful staff and a large selection of foodstuffs, clothing, and Maine gifts. Has lots of locally sourced products on sale that encourages support of community farms.
