Delicious fresh food from the Deli sandwiches and grilled chicken. The store is very clean, has plenty staff to assist customers with their needs. They have cashiers at counters and self checkout stations as well which is very convenient. Has all grocery needs and more in Caribou.

Incredibly strong odour in the deli and produce sections made it hard for us to want to shop at this location or find it cleanly, staff members however were quick to offer a hand when searching for items. Though the customer service while at the checkout was lack lustre and borderline non existent, large selection of some rather more niche items…it’s a grocery store I suppose 🤷🏽‍♀️

Has a great selection of just about any grocery item, and adult beverages. I like shopping here because everything is always fresh and beautifully displayed, and they have all of the little things and "non traditional" items you may need.

We live in Van Buren and unfortunately the only store here is very expensive, so we go to either Caribou or Madawaska to shop. They are both equally 25 miles from here, but hannafords seems to have better prices.

With a grocery prices through the roof you would think the cashier's would be friendly and acknowledge their customers, and when you bring your reusable bags in and your backer takes all your dry stuff and puts it in your freezer bag and takes all your freezer stuff and puts it in a regular bag there's a problem I think retraining is needed

I love their order ahead feature. Every time we order curbside the worker who brings our groceries out makes our day, just truly great people. Excellent customer service from the curbside staff.

I recently had an amazing experience at Hannaford, my favorite grocery store. As usual, I went there to buy my usual 15 pounds of bacon and cheese sticks. I have been a loyal customer of Hannaford for years, and I have always appreciated the quality of their products, the cleanliness of the store, and the excellent customer service.However, what made my recent visit to Hannaford truly memorable was what happened when I was in the parking lot. As I was loading my groceries into my car, I saw a group of garden gnomes putting the carts in the cart corrals! It was an unexpected and delightful sight. The gnomes were dressed in Hannaford uniforms and seemed to be having a great time working together.Seeing the gnomes in action was a wonderful reminder that Hannaford is not just a great grocery store, but also a part of the community. They clearly care about their customers and their employees, as well as the environment. It was heartwarming to see the gnomes taking such good care of the carts and helping to keep the parking lot clean.Overall, I cannot recommend Hannaford enough. Their products are top-notch, their staff is friendly and helpful, and their commitment to the community is evident in everything they do. I will continue to shop at Hannaford for years to come, and I hope to see more of those adorable garden gnomes in the future!

Has every you need for your grocery needs as well as pet and other items to get you through. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. The self checkout is really easy to use and convenient. If you need something you can't find at other grocery stores chances are you will find it here with their wide variety of selections.

Normally a five star enterprise with good product, staff, and management. But what a mess this holiday season. Lots of new hires with sorry attitudes, talking down to their "stupid, bothersome" customers. So the adult hating crowd has worked its way up here, too, eh? Not sure we will ever go here again. Might as well shop elsewhere if we're not appreciated here. Too bad.

Update: final review update with new picture. I’m never coming back to this store. I’m disabled and have serious illness that makes it very hard to shop safely and easily. The Pick up option was a godsend for myself and my family, until they just stopped bothering with basic decency. Every single order now there’s issues with the computers. There’s missing items. Wrong items. DROPPED AND LEAKING ITEMS (see ice cream picture that we found minutes after pulling into the parking lot next door). Now tell me, would the staff members be happy with this if it was done to their orders? I doubt it. I’m not shopping here anymore, I’ll take the longer trip to Walmart.I’m editing and updating my previous low star review as they seem to have tackled the expired food problem! We haven’t had any expired foods in the past 2 months, which is a considerable improvement from the 3+ items every trip that is expired before. I’m so glad they worked on this, because the staff at this location have always been great and I appreciate the convenience of not having to go all the way to Presque Isle. Thank you!

We went to order a cake around 9 or 10:00 on October 16th 2022 at the Caribou Hannaford and the woman that took our order was not only kind but also patient while my daughter picked out what she wanted for her cake and gave her suggestions on colors for her Harry Potter cake. Absolutely awesome customer service and made my daughter's day that she was able to design it herself.

Sort b of quiet getting close to closing. They add self check outs and did rearrange items through out the store. Store seems very clean repaired floors no half broken tiles. Just ran for a frozen pizza and soda for the evening.over all nice store. Little on expensive but compairr to the other options its well worth the visit.

Selection is better than most stores in the area. That being said, you have to watch the products, as there have been a few times that expired dairy products were left on the shelf.*update *I just went there and noticed employees actively looking through products. Awesome!

It's way smaller then the city stores, but it was a small town country grocery store that everyone seems to know everyone. It was clean and had a great atmosphere. Staff all seemed pleasant and would help you as a customer. If your up that way stop by as its the only grocery store around.

It’s a Hannafords. Great selection and somewhat decent prices. When you live in the county, it is either Walmart or Hannaford for a good selection of produce. Otherwise, you can shop some of the smaller grocery stores, but selection is limited.

I just left Hannaford and had an aweful experience and whats interesting is its not even a customer service issue. It was what was witnessed by an employee there. I do the self checkout line all the time and I happened to see the gentleman behind the counter next to self checkout cutting his nails. His finger nails were going all over the place and honestly seeing that first thing in the morning is not ideal. That is a HUGE sanitation issue. What makes it worse is the store manager came over by the counter to put water jugs away and the gentleman walked up to him with the finger nail clippers in hand and I saw the store manager look down at his hand and he said NOTHING. I am grossed out.

This store in Caribou, Maine is amazing. The employees are so helpful and kind. One of the mangers, Darren I believe is his name, is always on the floor and as nice as pie. He is extremely accommodating. Love love the butchers.All around great place to get great qualities.

Clean, lots of staff. Open late. Good beer prices, best in town imo. Liquor and wine updated with rotating deals. Ground beef stays fresh for a few days unlike save a lot. Box wine is cheaper at save a lot tho.

They had one check yourself out opened because it was getting close to closing. So I stood in the area waiting for my turn to check out.Ya could of gone over and let them ring me up, but I was in no hurry and looked like they were. I didn't want to be rushed and and I still had time before they closed. While I was waiting a very nice lady saw me standing there. It was only 2 minutes if that. She come over and opened the check out beside the other customer for me. I was greatfull and said thank you. And she did say your welcome. Which I did appreciate the nice manners back. You don't get that alot now these days. You get the ones that you can tell right off quickly that there saying it cause they have to or there in ear shot of an employer on up to boss, even another customer. Anyways checked everything out no problem had a night management check to see if everything went well for me, any problems. Nope there wasn't, went well and thank you for checking and have a goodnight, as he said the same. Grabbed my bag and of I went out the door, and home.So that evening was great not full of people, quiet, relaxing, and this time no employee melt down. So if need groceries and peace?Head over in the late evening, see and try it out for yourselves. Who knows.?.

I was at Hannaford the other day..I was at my vechicle with cart and this young guy working there was getting carts..He came over and asked if I needed help. I said sure..He put items in the car and made sure the bags were not heavy for when I brought home..He was above and beyond polite.He is definitely an asset to your store! Thank you

This is a medium- large sized grocery store with one of the best beer selections around. It's an even larger selection than the larger Hannaford in the nearby larger town. I was also amazed at their selection of lactose and dairy free ice cream options. The staff is friendly, and the store is bright and clean. They have a nice large parking lot and their produce looks great.
