We adopted a brother and sister duo from here 8 years ago and they are still keeping us entertained and bullying the dog! Halfway Home Pet Rescue was super wonderful to work with. They do so much to help their little furry friends. We highly recommend them!

Wow...just been told that I need to get my life together. They have absolutely no business saying that to me. I submitted an adoption form for a kitten. Where they get the notion that I need to get my life together I don't know. And yes I am very annoyed. Because they were unable to contact my landlord they assumed I had a problem with her. That is furthest from the truth. My landlord and I get along quite well. I have a text that says she is ok with me getting a kitten. I have my life together. I am happily retired and I have adopted cats all my life. 25 years. Just how some one can come to that conclusion from an adoption application is a mystery me! It's sad. A kitten will not be able to come in to my loving family. That's ok. I will rescue another kitten else where. If they had contacted my references they would have known that the cat would go to a loving home

Found my missing cat. They picked him up. Wouldnt give him back. Now hes been adopted by someone else and my heart is broken. I tried to get him back and they say I made no effort when in reality they had no effort in staying in contact with me or setting up a payment plan to get him back. He was my therapy cat and they put him up for adoption a few days after they caught him.

I called about the only cat they have listed, Nicky. I wanted to adopt and I guess we were discussing two totally different cats. The Nicky I was calling about was adopted out years ago. YEARS. Please update your website.
