So I went there today and bought a steak and cheese and a candy bar, the steak and cheese left a lot to be desired, and the candy bar must have been about 5 years old, so I tried to trade it for another one, and all had to say is no you already opened it. I’ll never go back to that NASTY place!

Hands down one of the best burgers I've had recently. I wasn't expecting much with the hot grab n' go section but it was fresh and there's a kitchen out back so I figured why not. I just finished it and figured they deserve the mention. Highly recommend for a quick grab n' go.It's also a convenience so whatever else you need is right there.

Used to be a good store to go too until it was sold. Stopped in real quick to get propane the cashier told me they don't sell propane when they always used too and there tank storage still had some. Plus I felt like he was lying anyways because when he told me "no propane" he wouldn't even look at me.

I run a cleaning business in York and often frequented this little gem on my way outta town at least 2x a week. The fish and seafood chowders were some of the best I've ever had and to top it off the chucked it full of seafood/ fish in every spoon full. Sadly after they sold the place, I stopped in and asked if the recipe and everything was the same for the chowder? They responded, "yes recipe and cook was still the same" So being satisfied with the answered I received I ordered a quart of chowder. When I got home my family and I realized it had a pickle like taste and was tiny chopped up pieces of fish and also more liquid then hearty contents. It is because of this I will still visit there store and support local but I will not be purchasing any more meals from there

Been coming here for years when we’re up on vacation in Cape Neddick. Great little place for coffee and snacks and breakfast sandwiches. Staff is always super friendly and coffee is excellent. Amy is just the best - what a friendly person.

For over 40 years, this has been my almost daily stop. Coffee and food are great!! Service is excellent, I love the staff, they are like family. Hope to always have this place around. I love it!

Always great people and always a huge variety in the warmers for lunch and breakfast. Plus a big menu to order from. This place is just big enough but small enough at the same time they remember most everybody. Plus the owner is always on site talking to customers.

Great little mom and pop store. Good lunch options, nice people. Be prepared to wait in line. They need more cashier's. Not a fast place but good food

Very friendly staff & nice selection of snacks ~liked that they sell "fancy" chez ~seriously thou, yum! I do suggest that they might consider selling some 'Maine NH, items ~just like a small keepsake ~bottle opener, or magnet, or something like that! But a fab little country store!

This place is very unsanitary with no place to wash your hands. I also contracted food poisoning from this establishment. Any place that serves food you eat with your hands should be required to have a place to clean up and be safe. I will never shop here again.

Owner is an arrogant man who has no customer service background obviously.... I go in 15 minutes till 11 am breakfast is over at 11... I ask what does he recommend for breakfast.... he says breakfast is over we are going into lunch....I understand that but we as tourists aren't really going by a watch while on vacation... especially myself after 23years of active military and finally retiring my watch... so if yall like dealing with a real prickly guy enjoy.... For several weeks while I was working in the area, I would grab lunch (and breakfast sometime) here at Cat'n Nine Tail General Store. The food and service was always good. The menu was of a good variety and the daily specials were always worth considering.

Love this place, but would appreciate townie/local shopping hours, but I guess that is from 530-6am. Not a Starbucks but at least the coffee is usually ok

Used to be a locally owned business, and a cornerstone of the Cape Neddick area. Unfortunately the owners retired and it got bought out by a larger group that's turned it into a money sink.
