LOVE that they reopened (under new ownership). Also refreshed the menu and added new options. Clearly putting work into improvements and setting it up for long term success. Food and drinks are still great (like the added bucket drink options) and the atmosphere is also intact. Family friendly place with a great bar. Also love that they kept my favorite menu item, which is the lobster curry!!Parking: Big lot right in frontKid-friendliness: Awesome kid meal menu and it's delivered in a cool kids boat!

Stopped in on Fathers Day, busy but not chaotic. Rainy day - perfect for lobster stew and chowder. Bigger inside than we thought, cool older bar, welcoming (20 seats) - great Maine feel to it. Service was great, older funny bartender. Nice experience. Right on the water between York and Cape Neddick. Perfect spot. Looked packed in the dining room, w great water views. Lobster Stew really good, chowder is ok (a lot of seasoning/bacon) 👍🏼 UPDATED: new owners took over 6 months ago. Prices are a little high, but that being said the still have great menu and all the food was tasty. Nothing blew us away, but overall experience was good. Can’t beat the view.

My meal here was most delectable. Delicious, meaty Lobster roll.... the mussels were some of the best I've had. I followed my meal with a superb slice of Peanut Butter pie , also I had a Virgin Bloody Mary ... not the best I've had but still delicious.I want to especially express how outstanding our Waitress was ... ask for Sue when you go.

The staff there was as amazing as the food! We went there with our 1 year old daughter. Not only did they give her some free snack (oyster crackers and a few orange slices) without us asking, they also always came by to wave and smile at her. All the waitresses were so nice and helpful with our baby, not just our own server. They even brought out a live lobster to show the baby The food was excellent and reasonably priced. We are originally from Michigan and thought prices were comparable or cheaper than most seafood places. We got two of the lobster rolls and the shrimp and scallop stuffed lobster. AMAZING! I wish we could have gone there again before we left. Still thinking about it on our 800 mile journey home.

Great place with views of water. Clam chowdah was very good with lots of flavor. I had one of the House Specialties: Bouillabaisse. It was EXCELLENT! Plenty of mussels, steamer clams, shrimp, haddock and salmon. The flavor was outstanding!! My wife had roasted chicken which she said was very good and 1/2 chicken!

Started with Peppers brand “Champ” draft beer and it was delicious, I had the baked stuff haddock and it was absolutely wonderful. All five of us in my party ordered different entrees and each one was phenomenal. Nora our server was outstanding! The dining experience was hands down the best I’ve had all summer/ fall. Highly recommend The Cape Neddick Lobster Pound!NOTE: Despite at least 3 employees behind the bar it took 9 minutes to even get someone to acknowledge me, let alone get a drink. (The gentleman bartender was very pleasant once we ordered!) However, each of the 3x I’ve been into the bar this summer has NOT been a pleasant experience.Best dining experience of the summer!

I'm a tour bus driver and I had such a great time with my customers who came from all over the US to experience New England Lobster. The staff who served us were phenomenal and very attentive.Although I didn't have the lobster, the clam chowder and baked haddock was phenomenal. Wish I remembered to take a picture of the Blueberry cobbler but it was so inviting I devoured it. The cobbler was packed with blueberries and quote flavorful without being overly sweet. I do have to say even though the chowder was really good the potato ratio was a bit higher and clams finely minced so even though you get clams in almost every bite because it's smaller pieces, there was more chewy potato vs clam. Also even though I loved it in the chowder just to let you know they season it with dill, which isn't traditional in a New England Chowder but I loved it. Make sure you save some bread slices to have it with your chowder!

The service was outstanding and I couldn't have been in a better place to check off a bucket list item of eating a real Maine lobster in Maine. I had a huge 3.5 pound lobster that started off with a heaping bowl of steamer clams. I was in Heaven! Christine, our server was very attentive, and intuitive to our needs and desires without badgering us or making us feel like we were being rushed to hustle in another party for our table. Highly recommended!

Our first time having dinner there and we will definitely be back. The owner came to our table and welcomed us. He gave us some history and also shared plans for the upcoming season. The food was delicious and hot, waitress was very friendly and attentive, everything was clean and inviting, and plenty of servers to handle a full restaurant. Best meal so far this trip! We wish you well on the future remodeling ! We plan to return next year to check out the changes. Don’t change the menu or the staff they were great!!

Very nice place to relax on vacation. It was a 20 minute wait to be seated but had a drink at the bar until they had our seats ready. Great seafood dishes and appetizers. Would definitely go back again

We had a group of 17 people and the service was great. The menu has a variety of great options for surf or turf. The whole lobsters were fresh and prepared well.After our meal the kids enjoyed playing on the beach and in the surf just across the bridge.Would go back again if in the area. Nice tables outside on the rooftop would be great for summer.Kid-friendliness: All the kids got to choose toys from a treasure chest that our server brought to the table after our meal.

After a 30 minute wait (reasonable, given the time we went), service was quick, professional, and attentive. We were sat at the bar until a table was cleared. It was pretty loud, though. When we were finally seated, the food was good. The apps and meal came at a good pace, with plenty of time for us to enjoy our crab dip and soup, without being rushed to make room on the table for the main course. To summarize, be ready for a reasonable wait, be prepared to talk over the other guests, but you'll enjoy the food and the service. Maybe not the bill, though.Parking: Parking is shared with a campground. Restaurant parking is free, campground parking isn't. It isn't specified where one begins and the other ends.

Vacationing in the area and was recommended. Ok I get it 45 min wait on a Saturday night .. must be really worth it.. nope. They were clearly staffing challenged as we saw 4 tables open our entire 45 minute wait. Our server Stella was the highlight as she was attentive and so sweet, i swear i saw her in tears heading to kitchen while we were waiting. Stress crying the poor girl. Maybe have the hostess do a little more than stand there and look at all of the hungry people waiting. The food came out the onion rings were cold and inedible and the stuffed mushrooms were not stuffed they were just and odd concoction. The GM was doing his best to support staff by waiting tables but that makes it hard to keep an eye on what is coming out of the kitchen. The atmosphere is lovely and it seems every seat has a water view. I wish then luck but will never find it worth the wait to go back
