Fantastic park in the middle of Maine. Surrounded by natural beauty, this gem did not disappoint. The owners clearly are committed to their guests experience. It is clear they keep moving forward, unlike other campgrounds that have become stagnant.I stayed in a beautiful cabin, but as an rv'er, the campsites look great, too. All of their staff were fantastic as well. Great job team, keep up the good work!

It was a great little birthday vacation for me to make memories with my girls. We had the best time here! Fun environment with awesome activities and special events planned. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The lady who owns/runs this location was absolutely the best and really made the experience even better than I hoped. We had such an amazing time and I hope to visit again in the future. ☮️💚

It was such a pleasure staying at this KOA! Everyone who works there is amazing! The kindness and helpfulness everyone genuinely offered made me sad that I needed to leave. From extending my stay to providing some assistance with my vehicle, this KOA felt like a community rather than just a campground. Stay here with confidence! The facilities are well maintained, the wifi signal is amazingly strong and the sites are not too close together. Thank you once again Skowhegan KOA!!!!

After leaving early from an RV park that was loaded with mosquitos, this was a wonderful spot! The park is old but well maintained and refreshed. It has a lot of trails that my fur baby and I enjoyed everyday! There were a lot of activities for the kids to do, the laundry room had more than two washers and dryers and the restrooms were clean.

Awesome and quiet little spot. Everything was clean and tidy. The campground was quiet. Pool was open but weather was a little to chilly the weekend we were there. The camp store closes by 6pm but if you forget anything there is a Irving's with some essentials within minutes of the campground. Dunkin as well. The playground was fabulous and the cabin had all the essentials we could ask for. Unfortunately, I think my daughter forgot her water bottle at the cabin meaning the staff had to clean up after us. Our apologies for that!

The campground staff and owners were very pleasant, the grounds were clean and well kept, and the entire organization was very professional. They had so many activities planned for the entire weekend. The camp store was one of the best I've ever been in. We will definitely be back!

Our family has stayed at a few different KOA campgrounds over the last 7 years or so - and this one is one of the most beautiful and well-maintained ones that we’ve come across so far. You can tell the owners really love what they do and take a lot of pride in their campground. They are also incredibly kind; When we got ourselves into a bit of a pickle (I won’t go into details - as it’s too silly and embarrassing, lol) the owners did not even hesitate and immediately came to our rescue. We stayed in one of the cabins and it was very nice and clean. We will definitely be coming back!

I think this camp grounds was very nice. Plenty of things to do. Outside playground for kids. Also has a big fenced in pool. Golf carts you can rent by day,if you don't feel like walking. They also have cabins you can rent. Great place for families

We stayed here a few times. We rented the Lodge and the cabin in the back of the campground. Both were very different, but enjoyable. The Lodge has all the comforts of home and the Wi-Fi comes in well. The Cabin with the full bathroom lacks a few features and the Wi-Fi is spotty. The porch is awesome!!! I think I liked this one better. The staff is awesome and there is lots to do. Will definitely be back every summer!

The people were great! Just left today and already miss them. Weekend breakfasts were very good. All facilities and grounds very clean. Enjoyed my stay tenting in H4, and extended my stay. It's saved on my Google Maps as a place to return to.

What a gem, we found this place on short notice on Labor day weekend. The staff were wonderful, friendly and extremely helpful. The owners were very pleasant and have really made this place a destination you must visit. The sites were a little small; but this place was built in the 70's when camping and RV' s were a little different. They had plenty of things for both kids and adults to do. The facilities were clean and we'll kept. We definitely return next year.

We can not wait to come back! The location was awesome and beautiful. There’s lots to do and gorgeous trees surrounding the site. My daughter had a blast and so did we. I schooled my family at air hockey and my husband enjoyed the older arcades. The bathrooms were always clean and stocked. The showers were clean and had good water pressure and warmth. There’s a shop at the office that provides anything you may have forgotten. They even sell smore kits all ready for you to fire up!

We found this to be an slightly above average campground. There tends to be a lot of rules and the owners seem tired, a bit snippy and loud. The pool was cold for being heated, they could turn it up a bit. The hot tub is locked and you must get a key from the office when you want to use it. It only fits 3 comfortably and they make sure you are over 21 to use it.When we tried to use it, they were putting in chemicals and said no more for the day and it was only 7 pm. There are activities for the kids but I would be hesitant to bring real young ones because the fire truck was blowing their horn during rides until 9 pm, getting many campers frustrated. The sites are comfortable and have benches on many sites. Our site was in the k area and there is a large field area behind the sites making everything seem roomy. The gift shop is cute and not over priced. Plenty of shopping to be had locally and the restaurants are plentiful locally. There does seem to be a manure smell to the park at times. A good time was had by all at this campground so give it a try.

This place is a gem! It's in a beautiful location an easy drive from both Skowhegan and Palmyra. Dan, one of the seasonal workers (and his bird Josephine) was a lot of fun and full of information about things to see in the local area. The campground also has plenty of activities for kids.

Love coming to this KOA, you really should disregard the bad reviews. My family and I have always enjoyed staying here and have come here annually. Staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful. If you communicate with them they go above and beyond to accommodate. They have tons of activities for all ages and and my three year old son absolutely loves the playground. I will continue to camp here in the future for sure!!

Spent the whole season at the Skowhegan/Kennebec Valley KOA as a work camper and I can give you first hand knowledge that this is a great family oriented campground. Tons of planned activities for the kids. There is a pool, jump pad, playground, BB court, video arcade, tractor rides, water gun fights, just too many to list. The grounds are kept beautifully, its quiet, the speed limit is strictly enforced. The restrooms, showers and cabins were kept very clean. Bring your friends and family here for vacation fun!

Management is very nice. Campground well-kept. Big negative: 10pm quiet time is NOT enforced. Drunk guy yelling at his wife and watching movies late in a tent, partying college kids, and general noise. F word constantly heard at night! Not necessarily family friendly. It's always luck of the draw when camping as to whom "neighbors" will be, but no staff presence to ensure environment.

We usually travel with no set schedule and contact KOAs as needed to check for availability. This place was able to quickly accommodate us and was a top notch, well maintained place with great friendly staff. It was a pleasure to have time to meet Jeff and Melanie and other staff members. We even met little Riley who was a cute little girl mascot. My lovely wife and I highly recommend staying there.

Probably not going to come back here. The owner's were a bit rude and seemed unhappy with their job, specifically the wife. Got 2 complaints of loudness because me and my boyfriend were having an argument over him losing his wallet - luckily we found it. Who wouldn't be pissed if they lost their wallet full of cash?! Everyone seemed a bit nosey, after the complaints we had at least 3 people watch us and go by back and forth for about 20 minutes. The gift shop was nice though, but the food/supply part was lacking. They don't carry simple things such as bread.. A lot of things were way overpriced. $3.19 for a small tub of mayo? $3.99 for a crappy fire lighter that barely worked? No thanks. The pool gets overcrowded and people don't know how to control their kids. Lots of diving and cannon balls when it clearly states not to - how hard of a rule is that to follow? And you have to be 21 to use the hot tub - how stupid. I'm 18 and have used plenty of hot tubs at other facilities just fine. The bathrooms and showers were clean at least - thank gosh. Except for one female who left an awful crap in one of the ladies stalls and did not flush. What a sight to see that was. Activities were lacking and still needed repairs which the new owners claimed to have made once taking over the place a few years back. This place has it's ups and downs. Come prepared and don't expect a lot unless you're a goody 2 shoes white picket fence family who never does anything wrong, LOL. When I told my family I was spending a weekend at KOA they laughed, and told me good luck. Now I know why. I recommend Two Rivers Campground in Skowhegan.

My first and last time here. Sites unleveld, lots of full timers and they think they own the place, watching you all the time and nosy. Owners seem to be good people. Average clean and organized. Nothing to do around, full timers children do not show respect. They should have separately areas for full timers from daily campers. If you plan to have a fun weekend run away from this place. If you plan to go to a place and stay 24/7 inside your camper and dont make a noise this is the place to go.

We always enjoy camping there with our 5 year old son. There is plenty for him to do. They have activities like foam party, nerf gun war, jump pad, hay rides and so much more. We try to camp here at least once a year!!

Overall nice campground especially the bathing facilities. The campsite for our tent could have used some more work. The drain pipe for rainwater was laying in a gutter right next to our tent and a pile of rocks a bit further

Would Not go back to there. Could not enjoy our time as a large group/family and children camping together for the holliday weekend. Owner/Staff were really rude and even snippy in one ocasion. Too many sites ocupied by employees/fulltimers who are not friendly toward other campers. If people really enjoyed quietness they would stay home in their own bedrooms which was probably the issue coming from full timers and employees."Get a home"
