Ordered an all meat pizza....Traveled 40 miles round trip to get it....First one was a combination, second one an excuse was thrown that the last person put too many toppings on this one is basically a $25 cheese pizza.... So in a nut shell they made a simple mistake and we paid for it with 80 miles of travel for an overpriced cheese pizza

Nice kept clean, only thing I find is they only serve dark meat (I.e thighs, legs and wings crisp crunchy chicken.

Walked out 4 times without purchasing. The friend chicken is never ready. 4 separate times we went in to get the fried chicken on the bone and 4 times they didn't have any prepared nor asked if we wanted them to prepare some. Tonight she said she will have it tomorrow.

Bought two frozen chicken pies yesterday and opened them up to be completely molded and crumbled. Expiration date on box wasn’t for another 4 months away, so obviously some major refrigeration issues are going on.

Half cheese and the other half suppose to be extra bacon extra pepperoni definitely not extra anything after new owner took over pizza quality went right down hill use to be my favorite place to get a pizza now its my last choice new owners are rude and other staff as well i will eat circle K pizza first

I will go out of my way to stop here for pizza or subs. We used to live close by but now will travel 30 minutes to get food here when the craving hits. Nice convenient grocery store, tagging station, gas and diesel fuel and propane. They have a little bit of everything you need if camping in the area. They are even offering some Chinese food now and it appears to be cooked in their kitchen fresh. Nice store, friendly atmosphere.

Boy, Canaan Superette is the worst place for food these days. I ordered a hamburger and bacon pizza! I got home with a pepperoni and and mystery meat. One or both were not fresh. It was awful.Not to mention, when I got there, the pizza making girl/and the cashier Were down back at the deli together. I walked down to get my pizza, they said I needed to go upfront to pay and said the pizza was up there. After I paid, I had to go all the way back down to the deli to get the pizza cause they were afraid I was gonna leave with the pizza without paying!

2nd night this week they've been closed early. Used to be my go to after work for some groceries and smokes but I guess the new owners aren't honoring the old hours. Next time I have to rush to Galushas/Clinton Variety because the Superette is closed early, it'll be my last time wasting a trip here. Don't even get me started on the 3 different times I pre-paid for kerosene just for the tank to be empty.

Love these guys! There is a new owner and his family that took over. I am impressed. Good prices. Very clean. Working on remodeling to an extent. Giving the place new life. Still no gas but doesn't stop me from stopping in and getting food or snacks. Plus adore the staff I know many of them and they are not just workers at the store but neighbors and friends. Keep up the great work and thank you everyone

I like the place, we live down the street -everyone is nice and the place is always stocked up, they carry Dave’s Organic Bread too which is the best and they dont price gouge on anything BUT the candy is steep and there needs to be more chicken in the take away curry n rice, because its good and you dont mind payin $10 for a meal, but you gotta throw a little bit more chicken in there. Great place all in all

I was disappointed when a sub cost me $16...meats such as Hamburger, pork chops and steak are priced well...some changes made here are good but others are not...I frequented this store quite often but not really anymore...not trying to dis someone's business however, I know this place could do better...because it used to do just that.

Love their sandwiches. The "Garbage Can" is actually my favorite. Great friendly staff. Store is under new ownership. If the lines in the store waiting to get their food is any indication of an improvement, they have improved 1000%

Google did not show them being a gas station so stopped at Circle K for gas then here for groceries. Good assortment, bought too my to store in my little tent at the KOA 🏍️🏕️🤭. Then enjoyed the afternoon with a slice of their pizza & Coke in the shade of the umbrella at one of their picnic tables.

In a pinch (usually their ground beef) and meat are fresh as possible. Tracy is a delight. But they put too much cheese on pizza.New entry: there are new owners. Same marketplace as before.They carry worms for fishing. And now offer Indian cuusine as well as Chinese food. Limited menu but good.Gas tanks are back flowing but not diesel as of yet.

Food doesn’t compare to what they use to be and being stared at by the owners who were overlooking the girl at the register made me feel awkward. Also was treated like I was going to rob the place and when I was waiting for my food to be complete and ready I sat in my car which the owners started out the window watching me. My boyfriend’s sandwich which is a hot one has been made wrong the past 2 weeks and had to heat it up when we got home. I have never felt so un welcomed at a store than I did tonight I can tell you I will never go back again.

Surprising little mini grocery stores. Prices were way better than I expected. Meat counter had some really nice looking meat with very reasonable prices. A few things were relatively expensive but not bad. Got a couple of subs and they were good. Will visit again.

I love the food. Always super yummy bit the gas pumps are a huge inconvenience especially in the winter. There isn't a pay at the pump option. So you have to walk across a slippery parking lot to pay before you pump. I think it's time to update the pumps.

Canaan superette provides best service.They resently started chinese and indian food and its amazing.The price is medium according to their taste. I think the price compared to bangor and waterville is half price with better taste. They changed the ice cream coolers and they now have two big freezers with many more ice creams than before. Sunny the manager has changed the store to make it better for customers.

When I'm in Canaan I always stop to get my groceries at Canaan Superette. I'd rather shop local then the big box stores. They offer a off brand/generic on some groceries wich offers a lower price. The meat department is by far the best around! The hamburger is ground up every morning and its fresh! All the cuts of meat are fresh and when I prepare for cooking they're is not much to trim off (fat) etc so I'm paying for quality meat. The store is always clean and employees are always nice too.

This is my local pizza place, I like the pizza and I do not think it is priced wrong. My issue is for the second time I was told 25 minutes no issues with that but when I got there 25 minutes later, my pizzas had not even gone into the oven yet! Why! " We got really busy". Why didn't you tell me, and if it happened all of a sudden why is mine the one that was pushed back. This is why you are loosing ground to Irving pizza Truthfully!
