Management & staff are so friendly and helpful! We shopped at Hannaford for beer & beverages for our son's wedding and welcome picnic, and grabbed some groceries for our stay. For such a big event, it was nice to have this Hannaford to count on. Thanks!

Had an issue when trying to buy bear. They wouldn't accept my ID or my passport.Cashier was following an obviously outdated book that contained an examples of IDs and passports. Issue was later resolved when we had to ask for manger. Never had this kind of issue before, first time that a store wouldn't accept my ID or my passport.Please update those books!

Stopped for the rest room on our way home from a little trip. Saw some things we needed including a small igloo chest which my husband's been trying to find for years. We don't normally stop at this store as we rarely travel north east. The rest rooms were tiny with only one toilet and appeared to be part of the employee area. I was concerned I was trespassing, but the sign was very clear.

High prices despite claims otherwise in their advertising. Can't believe how much we in Maine are paying compared to other parts of the country or Europe. Prices have doubled and sometimes tripled since Covid, but if you live in Maine there are few choices. Sad.

I received GREAT customer service at the this location yesterday. It truly is a hit or miss here. An employee named Tim helped me out and was absolutely wonderful. Thank you Tim. Then the young man cashier was great and friendly as well.

Rasist cashiers and store front clerk. Had to personally call the actual manager to assist with the transaction because it was so beyond "followng policy" it was ridiculous. Even he sounded embarrassed after speaking with the clerk and finding out what happen. Disgusting experience and they should be embarrassed for being difficult to someone because of what color their skin is.

It's nice to know that customer service is just as important as having a clean, up-to-date, store front.I often find that ending my day buying the freshest of ingredients from Hannaford insures a well rested evening.What I did not realize is that a major part of the "Hannaford Way" is also brightening my day with excellent customer service.I recently drove to a "Blue Box General Store," believing I would save time and money, but I was terribly wrong.Not only were the fresh vegetables not as enjoyable (color, flavor, texture) but the lack of customer service was especially troublesome.There were kind clothing department representatives who tried to help in the grocery aisle, there was 1 grocery worker that seemed annoyed that I was asking him about the type of steak that was on sale availability ( what you see is all you get) and an assistant manager that appeared to want to tell me to go to another store but corporate doctrine prevented him to.Considering the time, gas, and appreciation for patronage, I would have saved money by simply stopping at the Camden, ME Hannaford.In fact, when the Butcher in Hannaford, Camden did not have the meat I wanted, he called the Rockland Hannaford and had hem hold it for me.Sorry Thomaston, the "Big Blue Box Store" may be convenient sometimes, but when I want quality food at a good price, Hannaford is the way to go.

Great place to shop. Clean public restrooms during covid times. Clean store. Wish they were still enforcing social distancing and lane directions. Have they enhanced filtration of circulating air? If not, they should. Overall, a great place toShop

Easy to get in and out, and they do a great job stocking a wide variety of items, ranging many ethnicities. The staff is typically quick to help and won't leave you standing there waiting. Great veggies, meat, seafood, beer, wine, and everything else you can think of!

It might get a higher review in the future. However with COVID and the tourist season in conjunction it's hard to tell about what the real stocking issues are. The produce selection is great. Of course cleaning, sanitizing, and paper goods are limited if not entirely decimated. But there always seems to be enough emoyees to keep check-out lines to a minimal wait. Store is clean and bright. All employees great you.

Hannaford is fine. Good selections.In the fruit and vegetables and flower section, at the entrance, wouldn't it be nice to be greeted with a smile occasionally? Male or female staff might want to greet customers once in a while. It might make their job move more quickly and happily too.Especially saying hello to people like myself over 60....who may feel invisible or unimportant. We are not.. We shop the most!Thankyou!

I am always surprised to find how many things I needed that were NOT on my list. Hannaford's almost always have what I need before I knew I needed it. The associates are friendly and helpful and the store is neat and clean. The only thing that gets to me a little is how I just get use to where everything is and it changes. Store resets and remodels are necessary and that is where I like the challenge and associates are at their best.

Been shopping here for over 30 now and continues to be a staple outlet to pick up groceries for my family. While prices are bit more than your local Walmart you can always find what you need with a friendly staff to help if needed.

I don't like the atmosphere. Feel like everyone had to much control. It's my money in spending. Just want to get in and out without this ridiculous set up of store. Employees very nervous. Stop it . The president and experts say it politically driven. Fear driven.

Very fresh produce, signs that tell you how each vegtible is best used and the flavor it gives. The nine grain bread is my favorite there always tastes amazing. Employees are good at answering any questions and helping in any way they can!

Selection is good, and when you can find staff, they are helpful, but they have clearly launched an effort to cut check-out staff. New self-checkout machines are in place, with the result that you wait in line forever to check out with a real human. In fact, where they used to open a new register if lines got long, now they don't, I'm guessing to drive more and more people to the self-checkout, so they can do with even fewer staff. This is a trend in all supermarkets I know, but I've been going here for 15 years, and while the store has expanded a lot in that time, having the management there be okay with longer check-out lines is a new development, one that will lead me to shop elsewhere (and online) more often.

We just finished our shopping trip, to the Camden Hannaford. Business was brisk for a Monday afternoon. Their parking lot isn't overly large. If you have an oversized vehicle, park out a ways, so you don't get boxed in. The store was clean & well-stocked. We found everything on our list at a decent price. The cashier gave us a friendly greeting and was most helpful. Will Definitely stop back again.

More than enough parking it reminds me of a long ago grocery store that I along with my parents shopped at and it truly felt that when you walked in gave me the feeling of having a Great Big Family. On the mid coast, they seem to only cater to the tourist. Their selections have a Lot to be desired. Their prices are only marginally better than a small convenience store, and trying to find something is harder than any grocery be ever been. And there's never anyone to help you. So bad they have the cashier ask you "Did You Find Everything You're looking For? Kinda late at that time. But they have No competition! So we're stuck!

I have always had great service here as well as an easy place to get in and out of. The sushi here is actually some of the better sushi from a grocery store. They do a pretty good job getting you through their lines here.

I must be a completely different breed from most people my age but I love the grocery store. Hannaford is my go-to stop for anything. I love how hannaford is so quick and convenient now with Hannaford to-go. It’s a great little creation and super helpful during the pandemic!

A large chain supermarket. This location is somewhat smaller than others but still manages to stock a wide selection of groceries, specialty groceries, and pharmacy items.
