I give all 5 stars... why? Because I only write a review when an establishment really blows the doors off. I drive an hour to get groceries when I could have gone 5 minutes, which I do because the selection of organic food is the best in the county! Tradewinds is the only reliable place to get Chobani coffee creamer as well!

I am seeing a couple reviews that are absolute slander! This store has a very positive and inclusive environment! The workers work damn hard and were even open when most electricity was out and they wanted to make sure the community was taken care of! Shame on people for slandering people. This is a good friendly and helpful store!

Theirs two Store managers I heard talk bad about some shoppers who come in to get their supplies ,come on go to bingo if you want to gossip or any place other then the store were you are being paid to be professional and were you need good customer skills and not putting shoppers down to your workers and talking about them . I don't know how people like those two ladies become top managers of a professional business. Again they are not human because they are perfect, they don't make mistakes.

fantastic store. always clean and organized, all the staff are local and very helpfull. the support this local business puts back into the community is top notch. Personally met owner Chuck, and his store managers in Calais...outstanding people, go out of there way for everybody.

The organic produce selection is especially nice. Very helpful friendly staff. Plenty of checkout stations ooen so very little wait time. Clean, neat well stocked aisles. Overall pleasant shopping experience.

Just left this location with a bad taste in my mouth. Horrible customer service from a cashier. I placed my ID in her HAND so she could verify my age. After she verified my info, she places it on the counter. Really? You don't have the common courtesy to place it back in my hands? And then says "here" and gives me my receipt and carelessly walks off. I just shook my head and left.

I started shopping at Tradewinds Calais last year while it was still operating as Shop 'n Save. Not knowing what to expect, I was happy to see an organics section at the front of the store. This has become increasingly rare to find as some stores would rather distribute these products throughout the store. Since the switch over, the small organics aisles were removed and replaced with a dedicated aisle which is just as convenient (and appreciated)! The produce is fresh and there's even a refrigerated meat alternatives section located next to the seafood department. Overall the selection is very good and I will continue to shop here!

They carry the Hannaford line and have good sales every week. It reminds me of the small grocery family run grocery stores with a few people doing everything in a friendly manner, only in a bigger builing. A good place to pick up a few things to a whole weeks worth of food.

This used to be a normal Hannaford Brothers ShopnSave. Now that Trade winds has taken ownership the groceries are there but they have installed a world class deli and lunch counter. The only thing missing is the gas pump!

I went in on a cross border shopping trip looking for a product I can no longer find in Canada. There were two on the shelf and I would have liked more. When I asked at customer service they said that, although they didn't have more in stock, they would be happy to order it for me. Now that is what customer service should be!

Our former Shop n' Save, it's still a pleasant place to shop. I find a lot of products have been disc. from their shelves and yet other products have been added. I do miss those products I used to buy which causes me to shop on line.

The switch from Shop n' Save to Tradewinds Marketplace has been marked by a decrease in service and products in my opinion. For Canadian customers, the checkout bank card readers no longer accept Scotiabank and other debit cards, a major inconvenience for those living in St. Stephen and area. The shopping bags are incredibly flimsy - the worst I have ever seen - and often heavy products such as cans of beans will rip the plastic. The organic section has largely disappeared, and the variety of products on the shelves has declined. Very sad state of affairs. Nevertheless, still shop there, but not as often as in the past.
