What an incredibly funky business with the largest supply of pet & livestock supplies I've ever seen in one place. This is certainly not a slick franchise operation. They've been there for decades so the staff is not only super friendly but knowledgeable. Bring the kids because they usually have live chicks & bunnies for sale right outside the entrance..

Longhorn has everything any anything food and well care for animals from chickens ducks & chinchillas to horses and everything in between ! We buy every thing our pets need at Longhorn. From high quality Taste of the wild dog food, their favorite pig ears & treats, toys and cages and accessories for all animals big and small! They carry multiple flea and tick treatments; we buy our two dogs their Soresto flea and tick collars at LH every year. They carry all the best brands for the furbabies and its a small local business that we trust and are happy to support. Highly recommended.

Gotten 4 chickens from this place over the past 9 years, gone through 2 flocks of chickens, and the chickens from here are always the first ones to die in each flock, all were different types of chicken too. great store otherwise just dont buy their chickens.

Got 4 laying hens, straw and feed. The staff directed me to the correct savings (a cheaper product) and my hens have started laying on the exact date they predicted. They know their stuff and treat you right.

Always get my farm animal and house pet supplies here. Love the convince and some of the customer service. For the most part. One cashier could be more helpful and personable. She's not friendly and could use some customer service skills

I love all the people here! There are super nice, knowledgeable and helpful. I love that they deliver my shavings and grain for my horse, but I have to admit that I do drive out there to get my horse and dog supplies just because the owners and the staff are just so nice. Seeing them makes my day a better day.

Upon finding out my dog can only have grain free food I was steered in the direction of Long Horn. Driving up the first time I assumed that it was just another place like tractor supply. Boy was I wrong this place is incredible! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The prices don't break the bank. Not to mention selection is incredible. They sell everything from dog to chinchilla food it is my new all around pet store.

For years I have enjoyed doing shopping at this local business, but that has ceased. My buddy told me, earlier this month, that he bought a few bags of 10-10-10 fertilizer here of $10+ a bag. A week later, I dropped in an bought the same based on his experience and a view of their WEB site (see attached picture). When it rang up at the register it came to over $16 a bag. What? Like other gardening centers, that I have visited, they must be extra busy this year with Covid-19 vegetable scarcities and rampant inflation in grocery prices? Folks who have never gardened before are now gardening and those who have are increasing their garden size. An opportune time to charge what the market will bear. To give them credit that have now updated their WEB site to reflect this 53% price increase. My animals eat over $100 a month in dry food; that's $1,200 a year. They will no longer get any part of that.

I get all my pet supply needs here; holistic cat food, organic kitty litter, 50lb bags of sunflower seeds for the birds and critter food for the raccoons and squirrels. Their prices are competitive with other pet supply stores. My wife especially loves getting eggs from them, local raised farm fresh eggs for $2.50 per dozen.

Bev has always been incredibly rude, but now it's just over the top. Started out that they refused to set up 2 different accounts for my mother and I, even though we were at 2 different residences. Then they got mad that there were 2 different people calling for the same account, even though it was their doing. So, I needed to have my mother call, have it delivered to her house and drive 20 mins to get it. Then, it was just myself who needed it and they only deliver to my area every 2 weeks. Whenever I called, they'd just delivered, so I'd have to drive in and get it. Now, they are refusing to to deliver because I don't order often enough. I said, I could order less, so I'd be more often. Nope, that won't work because then it's not enough stuff. She accused me of "only ordering from them when I couldn't get it elsewhere", which is untrue. I only got it elsewhere when they didn't have it available, which was too often. And so what, I'm entitled to shop where I choose! I was happy to order more stuff, but they won't do that either. 4 bag minimum, which is over $100 and you have to order every month. I get a minimum, but that's ridiculous amt, for trucks that are running, in my area, anyway, but every month... What difference does it make how often I order? I guess you're only of value to them if you run a farm. A few backyard birds and you're on you own. Well, Andy's Agway it is; they're nicer anyway. I regret ever giving Longhorn any of my business. Completely unwilling to work with customers and base your worth to them on how much money you give them.

Great pricing on shavings...we have guinea pigs and we get twice the amount and 1/2 the cost compared to the big stores. They have great hay we use for them as well.

The couple of nice people that work here pales in comparison to the rude staff frequently at the register. Not sure if it is because I am Asian or if they are just that rude to everyone. Due to connivence of location, I had continued to shop here. In the 8+ years of buying my dog & cat food here I had 2 times that my cat refused to eat the food (exact same food for 4+ years). Contacted the manufacturer and was told that it can sometimes happen when the food is stored in too hot a location (cats can smell when the oils go off). Manufacturer advised to take advantage of 100% satisfaction guarantee and return (with receipt) to place of purchase (Longhorn). It was a same day return and I had a super hungry kitty. I returned the food with the grumpy clerk and purchased a bag (of the SAME food) elsewhere, to my cat's delight. Went to buy my dog food today and Longhorn told me that it is too much of a hassle dealing with returns (product guarantee)- find another place to buy my holistic food.

Not the friendliest staff but they sell just about anything I need for my horse, sheep and chickens. They also sell sheep wormer by the ml so I don't have to spend $100+ to worm my small flock once. That's pretty handy.

Long Horn looks a little rough around the edges, but it's an orderly disarray. They've got everything from feed to trailers and supplies. This place is stocked to the brim with useful tools and parts for any working farm or stable. They've got some livestock and trailers depending on the season. This is where I but my stall supplies, whether it's wood shavings or snaps. Long Horn always has what I need to keep my horses in line and occasionally to outfit myself too.
