I often forget about TJ Maxx & the variety of items one can find there. I went there looking specifically for a shoe horn... they had none, unfortunately. Oh well, can't win em all, eh? The store pricing is confusing, hence the 4 stars vs 5. For example: During this visit, I chose 3 small nesting tables for my plants; said tables had been zip‐tied together, to be sold as a single unit... HOWEVER, each nesting table had a different price label attached: altogether (priced small to large) $9.99 $14.99 $16.99. Was it all these prices added ...or? It's one unit! I was buying it because $9.99 for something with a "wrought iron look", made in CHINA to hold plants, seemed a good deal. Anyhow. Are you confused? Me too.

This is the worst TJMaxx I have ever been to! I tried to buy two identical sweaters, one tan and one grey. They were both marked down to $12. The grey one rang up correctly as $12. The tan one had a tag marked $12, just like the other one, but the cashier said that the inventory code on the sale tag was not the right number in the womans department. While I watched, she peeled the tag off and said the tag number was not the right department, and the tan sweater was the full price of $24.99. (there were several sale stickers on top of eachother)The store manager came over and said although the STORE marked the sale tag wrong, I could not buy the sweater for $12. There were several others on the rack. One was full price, one was $18 and one was $24. They all had the wrong sale sticker. The manager took them off the rack, to mark them correctly, but refused to sell me the sweater for $12, even though THEY marked the sweater wrong. TERRIBLE customer service, to lose a customer that literally spends several hundred dollars a week there, over a $6-10 price difference ! I still don't know what the true price of the tan sweater is. Horrible managers and customer service! Nasty way to treat their best, local customers!!!! Shame on you, TJMAXX in Brunswick, Maine!!!!

This T J Maxx is terrible. Unlike the ones in South Portland and Biddeford, this one has a crappy selection. I actually got home and canceled my T J Maxx card!

I enjoyed shopping only missed out on the cash back of 10 dollars for every 100 dollars you spend because I don't have US citizenship 😎 . Missed 40$

This place had good products and like others say, it's clean and the staff are predominantly friendly. But if you need help here, the staff avoid you and when you check out, the sales push for the credit card is way too intense and awkward.

Brunswick store has a nice variety of home goods, pretty good variety of clothing. Would be great if the staff had time to recover different areas of the store so things are not so often messy and disorganized and on the floor or hanging halfway on hangers.

I have always liked this place and the customer service. Today they went above my expectations with saving the day after I left my wallet. I walked in and asked about it in panic. They said they had it in the safe and and went to get in promptly with no ask of anything in return. Hopefully that won't happen again, but good to know TJ Maxx associates had my back.

I am a HUGE TJ Maxx shopper, one may say an enthusiast and out of the many stores I have been to, this one hands down was one of the BEST! The store was very spacious, clean, well organized and perfectly stocked with merchandise. Despite me deciding to go on a quick shopping spree 30 minutes to close, the staff was very welcoming! I had the opportunity to chat with the store "genius" A.K.A. manager Brenda and store associate Hannah. Very pleasant woman and workers. They were so friendly, charismatic and helpful with my partner and I. They made our shopping experience a plus and made us feel very welcomed and prioritized customers. I highly recommend all my TJ maxx enthusiasts to shop at this location.

This TJ Maxx location is wonderful.I am extremely pleased. :)The staff were very pleasant.I was looking for Sanrio Items, I was only able to find one thing. I had asked a young man if there was any others. He offered to check the back for me. It was extremely kind. Commonly employees in most retail chains never offer.The young lady who cashed me out was very pleasant and sweet as well. :)5 stars from me.

This T.J. Maxx is very nice, has a good selection and the prices are generally great. It is very similar to other stores and isn't anything special, but it is clean, bright, and the people who work there are very nice. I have never had a bad experience here and I can always get help if I need it. I especially love the seasonal items and the baking and home goods section. It is also in a small strip mall so it is close by to other stores. There is a ton of parking and I have never not been able to park close to the doors!

Went to return my perfume that I bought and didn’t get a refund I was hoping to get nor did they offer me a store credit. After that the cashier didn’t give me back my receipt so that’s a plus right? Overall the vibe of the people helping me were very shady but the manager did his best to help. Overall still very sad.

T.J. Maxx has some of the highest quality products I've seen in Maine. Excellent customer service, the staff are always kind and respectful when I need anything at all, whether it's finding an item or checking out of this fine establishment. If you need something with high quality, then come down to T.J. Maxx!

Pretty good Tj's. Not as big as some and no Homegoods section. But they seem to be pretty consistent with the new content. As always, there's lots for women, young adults of any sex, and girls and boys. Not much for men, but it's been that way for years.

Love this place! Tons of clothes, shoes, and home goods (rugs, kitchen, art, lights, curtains, bath, indoor and outdoor furniture) at fantastic prices. I love the pet section ♥️ The prices are spectacular... What's $25.00 in a pet shop is $5.99 here. There only complaint is there very uncomfortably HOT changing rooms. Gross. I take my clothes choices home and return what doesn't fit. Keep the receipt if you want a refund to your original payment.

A clean, well organized store with friendly employees. Because it is a clearance outlet, the merchandise is unpredictable, but re-stocked on a regular basis. Inventory includes clothing, accessories, as well as home goods and luggage. It's a good place to pick up seasonal or holiday decor on the cheap.

I have seen good deals at TJ Maxx. My 14 year old shops here when she gets a gift card but otherwise we are not consumers at this store. Seems pretty clean, organized. Bathrooms are not "squeaky clean" in my daughter's opinion, but "okay." I do not shop here but that isn't for any reason other than it is out of the way for me. They do have a fair amount of good shampoos and perfumes at discounted prices.

This TJ max was way cleaner than the one in Augusta. It didn't smell like ass as you walk in the door. It was quite the opposite. Very nice and clean and neat with a ton of new items all very organized.

My teen daughter's favorite place for clothes. The store is clean, "associates" are friendly, and you can generally find items here you may not see elsewhere, though merchandise may be limited. I like this store for some of their unusual, reasonably priced, pet bedding and toys. Check on the shoe selection too. Again, limited, but some items you may not see elsewhere. Purses! A good buy here for brand names, and they even have luggage! I've been told Home Goods is a sister store. Another interesting store to visit!

Good bargains on nane brand items. You do have to spend the time to look around but usually is worth it! Most of staff are friendly and the store has improved over the last few years is more organized now.

A really nice selection of clothes that changes often, so its worth coming back for another visit every month or so. Really nice people who are always happy to help, and they usually have enough staff working on registers to make the line go pretty quickly.

They had a huge supply of Justice clothing which will make my girls super happy since Justice has gone out of business. Sadly they only had on rack of plus sized clothes. They were all cold weather items and clearance so a very limited selection.

I went into TJMaxx in Brunswick, ME to look for warm, comfortable pajamas for my 90yr mother. There were many styles and sizes to choose from but I found 2 perfect different sets! She'll be toasty and her nursing home section will be happy to see her new pjs. I love TJ's. I can always find good quality at a reasonable price. Go shop! There's lots to see!

Okay, Have to revise this post. The Portland tj is .. in fact insane it’s always crazy busy a mess we can never seem to find anything good where looking for. The Brunswick location has been on point clean , well organized . And the staff are also super friendly and attentive. I mean they actually ask me how are you , and is there anything They can help with. That’s to me customer satisfaction!! Keep up the great work guys! Thanks

A great place for affordable clothes. I make decent money but still go here to find good deals on my clothes because nobody needs to spend 60 dollars on a t shirt lol
