These people have zero customer service nor do they care for your business. In fact you should expect to feel like you are bothering them by walking in the door. Don't bother returning something they won't take it back. Would rather drive to Portland than ever shop here again. Employees and owners are all jerks. I purchased a bilge pump that was faulty and tried returning it 3 days later. I was told it was my problem and I had to deal with the manufacturer because that was their policy.

This place has a good selection of equipment and supplies for both commercial lobster and fishermen, and for recreational boaters. They also have a good selection of hard-to-find boat hardware and supplies at reasonable prices.I would have liked to give 4.5 stars because I reserve 5 stars for places that are absolutely amazing.

Dave and Ellie are always a pleasure to visit. They are a small town operation and also deal with a large client base from fishermen to flatlanders. Therefore, don't expect the same treatment from them that you would receive walking into a big box store. You arent special, be respectful. The products I need are always in stock and any time I have ever had a reasonable issue with an item they honored it and I got my money back. Thank you Midcoast Marine for your excellent service!

This place has a truly unbelievable selection of marine supplies. They cater to fishermen as well as pleasure boaters. The staff are very helpful with advice on all kinds of products and projects. The price is substantially lower than prices at the evil West Marine, or some of the ultra fancy stores like Hamilton which definitely caters to the yachty-types. Sometimes the store is a bit disorganized but overall, these are my go-to guys for anything boat related.
