Evening delivery of soil from Lowes went well with Lowes long order numbers. This Lowes stays so mello.. Id like to call out names and point fingers but all involved in fetching 25 bags of online ordered soil wasnt taking lightly as they hunt and put this order together. A Saturday night i saw young men and women pull together and make my heavy delivery before closing.. Sale prices, and well stocked. Have you ever looked on the screw asile? Respect for me my time and eachother. Good hustle and customer satisfaction..

Not totally isolated to this store... as a contractor I have run into issues at Lowe's where both their online database and their in-store database do not actually represent what the store has. I recently needed a cabinet part that only Lowe's sells. It was unavailable at the Auburn store, so I was directed to the Brunswick store since every database showed it was in stock. After arriving there I was told, no, they really don't stock this product and that I need to order it online. When I quizzed the associate as to why they show it in stock, I was told the usual "don't know, we are short staffed, this is the Holidays, and people aren't doing their job" series of excuses. Then was once again told to order online in the future in which she even chastised me for not calling ahead first. Wait a second... the point for these stores to have online databases is so I don't have to call on the phone, sit on hold, and waist hours as an inept associate tries to find something they have no idea how to find. In fact, I have had the scenario happen of calling and being told the store does not have the product (even though they do), but the associate was too lazy to go put his (or her) hands on it, and just wanted to get me off the phone by saying they don't have the product. In this case I spoke to Ben, the store manager on duty, to complain. He was nice enough but was absolutely unhelpful, and pretty much reiterated the same statements and sentiments the original associate I had dealt with told me.

Spent just under 2 THOUSAND DOLLARS here an hour ago on a new washer, dryer, all installation needs and vacuum. The cashier was extremely rude, snippy and untalkative and very clearly treating me like I was less than because I am a young woman, he also tried to push me into the first machine I was looking at simply because I said I like the color, it made the whole interaction awkward and uncomfortable, Jody wasn’t even working with us and he was the most helpful and respectful employee there. Also I had a friend with a truck come along to help me bring it home and install, they only spoke to him and not me regardless of both of us saying multiple times he’s just there to help transport and this was my transaction he’s completely unrelated. After I made the purchase I left so I could stop at Walmart too while everything was taken care of. When I reconnected at my house with my friend I found out that after spending so much money here, the Lowe’s employees refused to help him load the washer and dryer into his truck and he had to do it alone. If I didn’t absolutely need these products today I would return and go elsewhere and I didn’t want to make all of his effort loading ALONE a waste. Extremely disappointing. Will be going to Home Depot from here on out.

2 stars is only because someone was kind enough to offer me help unprompted, and because of the curbside pickup option, otherwise it'd be one star. I showed up for a refrigerator water filter, after being pointed to the right direction, I checked the small display of about 30 filters in the appliance section and did not see what I needed. Rung the bell for assistance and the man the showed up said all they have is what's on display, he looked over the selection and gave up, handing me a card saying that I could order one online and pick it up from the store in three days. When I got to my car I checked the website and it showed that the part number I wanted was available right now, in the store. Not wanting to go back and forth with an employee again, I ordered it for curbside pickup and three hours later it was in my hand. Would've been nice to get it on the first trip and not waste an entire afternoon over it.

Great customer service! Employees actually know where items are and help to guide you. It's also a pet friendly store.

I love this place and the people! Exceptional customer service everytime I'm here! They always seem genuinely interested in my DIY projects and are supportive when I need to repair something in my home on my own, giving advice, setting me up with the tools I need to get the job done and they're always encouraging. The people that work in the garden center are especially helpful and always ready to lend a hand when loading things onto a cart or into my car.And they have clean public restrooms! The store is clean and well organized and if they don't have something they can order it for you. The delivery driver is also a nice guy!

Great store hard too find good help. They really need to hire more great employees like they had 2 year ago when you walked through the door and there was plenty of help.

Veterans BewareOn July 8th, my wife and I traveled 45 minutes from our home to attempt to find a countertop for our recently fabricated island. I have an account with Lowe’s as they provide service and a discount for those of us that served. As of today, they are not and I hope that my story will open your eyes to the complete lack of service, care, or compassion from this store and its leaders. My wife and I went to Home Depot to comparison shop. We found something that we liked and asked about their lead time for fabrication and installation? 4 weeks to measure and 4 more weeks to final installation, so 2 months. My wife had called Lowe’s prior to our shopping experience and we were told that their lead time for measurements was 1 week and 4 to install, so 5 weeks total. The quote and time-frame would put that completion beyond that date. When we arrived at Lowe’s we went back to the kitchen and counter-top design center and found the EXACT same countertop we wanted! Then, we hunted down an associate to get our order placed! As she was putting in the information we asked her our two most important questions:Q:What is your lead time and how long would this take? A:You will be contacted and your countertops will be measured within one week from 7/8/23.Q:Will my military discount apply as the quote from Home Depot was less than their quote, but would be about the same once the discount was applied? A: Your military discount will be applied once they have a final total as this is not the final price due to the exactness of the measurements.By 7/17/23, I had not received a phone call from Lowe’s to set up my appointment. At that time, I was told that the time-frame was NOT 1 week, but 4 weeks. I explained this was not what I was told on two occasions. The next day, I got the phone call from Granite Design. I stated that if it was going to be 4 weeks from that date, now we are actually at 6 weeks post purchase, not 4.On 7/22/23, I went into the Lowe’s store. The customer service rep escalated the conversation to their Assistant Store Manager, Nick. I explained my situation to Nick and was curtly told he would do nothing further and good luck to me. Not one single apology, no compassion, nor empathy from Nick for the associate’s failure to provide me with good information. I again asked if there was anything they could do to keep my business and this order and he said no and walked off. Joanne has been the ONLY Lowe’s associate who has gotten anything accomplished in a positive manner. It was during the call with Reuben on 8/2/23 that I brought up the purchase price and application of the military discount to which Reuben informed me that the military discount did not apply. I told him that I wanted to speak with a manager IMMEDIATELY. I asked him who his boss was and he told me it was Chris Patterson. I was told that he was not available. I then asked for the name of Chris’s boss, who is Ken, but that he was also not available. I told Reuben that I wanted a leader to call me by the end of the business day. I have yet to receive that call.I called back on 8/8. I explained that I had requested a call back from a store manager and had not received one to date. Joanna explained that Chris was in the store and I requested a call back from him that day in attempt to resolve my situation. No phone call from Chris. At this time, I would advise ALL veterans to consider shopping elsewhere. It is very evident throughout this entire process that I am just a number and that Lowe’s has no desire to keep my business. I cannot understand why a manager could not pick up the phone and call me, at least with an apology? I also happen to be an officer of a veteran’s organization. I will be discussing this interaction with ALL of my associates. I also procure equipment for my staff that can be purchased at a big box home improvement store. Where do you think I will be taking that business? It will take a LOT of convincing for me to ever step foot in a Lowe’s ever again.1hour wait @ number you asked me to call? Ugh.

Saturday shopping in Brunswick. Lowes was not too busy. Had plenty of goods. Found what we needed. Plenty of employees were available and wanted to help answer questions or locate items. Checking out eas quick. No lines.

This store is one of the best I have ever been to. Customer Service is always friendly and helpful. Any associate is willing to point you in the right direction. However, getting help in a specific department (especially plumbing and electrical) was almost nonexistent. I made several trips to the paint department (21 gallons over 3 days) and they were helpful, accurate, and efficient.

Do not purchase anything from Lowe's. Along with everything for a new bathroom, I attempted to purchase a bathtub. First tub: damaged. No other similarly priced options available, expect one: also damaged. Purchased a new tub for twice the cost: damaged. Tried to swap it: 3 others, also damaged. Switched to another, also more expensive tub. Inspected the two in-stock: one damaged. Purchased the other. While attempting to install, discovered that it was also damaged. (Manufacturing defect.) Another return to the store. For those keeping track, that's 8 damaged and unusable bathtubs. Response for the staff: A half-hearted "sorry" and a shrug. I also had difficulty scheduling pickup dates. The person answering the phone could not properly use the phone without disconnecting the call. After three disconnections, I needed to drive to the store to make a simple schedule change in-person. There are some good people at this store, but the entire Lowe's machine is a disaster. Imagine your grocery store only offering rotten food. That's what shopping at Lowe's is like. Go elsewhere.

I was at this Lowe’s Saturday 7/8 with my wife and newborn baby. It takes a lot to even convince my wife to get out of the house with our newborn, but I told her I wanted her input on a backyard project we were completing that involved putting posts in planters with quikrete. We gathered what we needed pretty quickly as we were trying to race with our newborns nap schedule. She had picked out these whiskey barrel looking planters that were stacked on the shelf airtight and there was plastic on them. We put them in our cart stacked and quickly grabbed quikrete. We went to the self checkout as there was an open register and were immediately bombarded with rudeness from Linda. We got 4 whiskey barrels and 6 bags of quikrete easy peasy (note that 1 quikrete bag was 80lbs and the 5 others were 50lbs). Linda came over and grabbed the whiskey barrels and demanded we separate them all. She tried to but wasn’t able to, I imagine it was because they were stuck airtight together from being on the shelf like that. She said she was doing this because the barcode was on the bottom of the barrel, which I was aware of. I kindly flipped over all the whiskey barrels and scanned the barcode 4 times, that was not good enough. She said “you need to separate them all.” I tried separating them and was clearly struggling, they had obviously never been separated before. Our newborn began to wake up and fuss and my wife started to get anxious of him crying. My wife kindly asked why we needed to separate the barrels. Linda stated rudely “people shove things in between these to steal them”. We were both shocked by the rudeness and audacity she had. We both explained to her that they were like this stacked on the shelf. She continued to make us separate them which took a few minutes. After finally getting all of the barrels separated she saw that nothing had been shoved in there and we weren’t trying to steal. She made no comment. That was still not good enough…. She took the scanner and scanned the 80lb bag of quikrete 6 times. My wife looked at me completely distraught, she didn’t want to speak up but did. My wife kindly said “you just scanned the 80lb bag 6 times and we actually only have 1 80lb bag and 5 50lb bags”. Linda didn’t say anything, no apology or nothing. She fixed it in the computer and walked over to our newborn and tried to make small talk with my wife about how old he was. Extreme unprofessionalism. We will unfortunately not be coming back to this Lowe’s. Linda made one of our first family outings completely miserable. I understand loss prevention and what people do, but come on Linda, do better. We felt targeted and accused of something we never would do.

I would like to start that I wouldn't even leave one star but they make you. So that one star is for the delivery men that have no fault in this complaint. So let's start a month ago (April 12th) when we went shopping for a new stove as ours had died. Saw the sale they were having and figured let's get a new refrigerator to and get it all at once since we were there. They told us they had the stove in stock not the refrigerator. We were hoping that we could get the stove as ours had died and waiting for the refrigerator wouldn't matter. They gave us a date of two weeks for both appliances. Even though the sign said ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATE WOULD BE THE 14TH. (Two days from when we were there) Ok things are tough right now. We would make due till 29th the date they gave us.Then on the 28 they said stove was being delivered not refrigerator. Then on the 29th they said nothing was being delivered. We would have to wait till the 7th. They said they had the refrigerator but not the stove? But they said they had the stove not the refrigerator on the 12th when we were buying it. So we took a day off from work for absolutely nothing!!! They said the next week. So we take another day off just for only the refrigerator to arrive still no stove for Easter weekend. No call no warning. Just a nasty surprise. Totally messed us all up. Now they tell us next week you will get the stove. The 14th. So have to try to take a 3rd day off from work for this nonsense. Since when we were shopping they said they had the stove in stock. They also told us they would call us on Wednesday to confirm on the stove this last time. I waited till Friday for said phone call that never came. I called them, they said they had it and would call us with our four hour window. We never received that call either. Then Saturday arrives and we have no clue about anything cause they couldn't even find time to us keep updated. They refunded us 400.00 dollars but it really doesn't make up for the month we were left with no stove and bag customer service.Very bad customer service!! Now we got the stove it's not even black like I wanted!!! This is the worst business I have ever experienced. I will NEVER EVER EVER do business with them again. And I would highly recommend to my friends and family don't choose Low's!!!!!!We are in the mist of kitchen remodeling and we will find another store to do our business with and we will not be doing the counters from you as planned. The art of a boycott is now in full effect!!!!!A not happy ex- customerRosa Landeen 😡

Store itself is fine just somehow the appliance delivery system they have is riddled with holes. You end up talking to 15 people about 1 charge that "can't" get removed and yet the removal of a charge on a credit account is pretty straight forward IF you know how to do it. But the game if phone tag to get to that point 2 weeks after the appliance was delivered is rather disappointing. The staff is always helpful but from my experience not given the right training in the right order to help customers who will inevitably try to buy something with no tag on it. Buy a couple of tools and you're in for smooth sailing, but a plant with no price tag or order a washer or dryer or fridge or what have you and expect rough seas.

Solid lowe's with large garden center and easy access off highway I come here monthly and have had some great recent interactions with staff- friendly and helpful folks- well staffed and well stocked store. Good quality lumber as compared with other Lowe's in Maine.

Weird situation. The prices online, you can't get in store. Also if you want to order and have it go to another State, they can't help you. You have to go to a Lowes in that State. How foolish! Waste of my time.

I exchange primo water jugs at this location quite often, and every time, the cashier rings them up for me at the self check outs, and he sees me pay every time. This cashier has always made me feel very awkward when I'm checking out, and today he thought I was just going to walk out without paying?? Even though I was walking directly towards him. Not finding interactions at this location very pleasant anymore.

Nothing terrible, just takes quite a while to track down an employee that has any idea on how to answer a question. That said, the ones that do are often quite helpful.Interactions with cashiers have been top-notch, customer services agents kinda meh, and people on the floor overall poor. Love that they allow dogs
