My partner was rudely told to leave the self checkout and someone else was given our spot even though they said I’d be right back and we weren’t done. I just needed to grab lettuce and come back. I called to ask why and she said that she asked if they were done here and they said yes. My partner DID NOT say yes, she straight up lied to me over the phone. I wish her a very terrible day and hope she gets fired.

It is closed due to flooding, however should Hannaford executives be in search of higher ground nearby to re establish such, I would like to recommend they seek out Tim Smith of Tim's RV across the River in Chelsea Maine as he is interested in the possibility of providing a new location for a new store location

Yesterday , I purchased cannolis from the bakery department, The person who made them didn’t fill the middle with the filling, This happened once before and I informed the bakery manager, I purchase these often, both in Topsham and the Elm street Hannaford, and this has never happened anywhere else, From now on I’ll buy my cannolis elsewhere

There is an employee there that claims it is "his Hannaford." Glasses, young, and very arrogant. Apparently he didn't like my speed in the parking lot and approached it in a very inappropriate way. I think it's funny He thinks he owns Hannaford and refers to it as mine. He must be fun to work with. Considering what I spend there in a week he needs to learn how to talk to a customer. I'm in customer service and would never talk to or approach my customers like that ever.

Best Hannaford in the area as far as layout. Steak quality is questionable. Chicken ect is always good. Go somewhere else for steaks 5 or 8 employees let people buy a bad cut.

I love this Hannaford! The snoxfox sushi is out of this world amazing, and the sushi chefs are so nice!Hannafords always has great produce and good deals. I just wish their deli would bring back the blackberry pistachio salad- literally the best salad ever!

Disappointed in their Customer Service. They keep shortening hours of the service desk. Having worked in the Grocery business myself, I know that keeping your Customer Service desk open is kinda important. No matter the shortage of workers, you need customer service. 12-4 doesn't work for alot of people!

I prefer Hannaford over shaws🤷‍♀️ I love the atmosphere of this store, its very inviting as soon as you walk in. Very well lit and clean. The produce, meat, and seafood always seem fresh and I've yet to find anything rotting in produce like I would elsewhere. They have a wonderful selection for the vegan diet, as well as others. I love that bakery section always has what I need. The employees are very helpful and polite as well. I specifically come to this store because they are the only local store I've found to carry most of the dairy free foods I can eat.

This store is always so poorly staffed. The pharmacy isn't even open on the weekends anymore. Produce is low quality and everything is so much more expensive than the Shaws or Walmart nearby.

Please maintenance the shopping carts more often, they are so loud and rattling while trying to push them around the store. Maybe instal a cover over the area where the carts are placed outside so that are out of the rain?

Always an enjoyable experience shopping here. I love how the sushi is made right in store, and the rolls are reasonably priced. Many of the Hannaford brand items are just as good, if not better, than the major label items at a lower price point.

I have been shopping at this Hannaford for about a year now. The staff are so friendly and kind but I must shed light on amazing experience I had recently. I was out with my 9 month old and while at the checkout she got fussy and wanted to be held. She kept dropping her toy on the ground. The manager came around and personally took the toy and washed it for me. Then they went out of their way to open another register so I could get through faster with my daughter. People offered to help unload as my hands were already full. Thank you Hannaford employees for always making my shopping experience pleasant.

It was my first time in the new store, having heard many good things about it from friends and family. I was under the impression that the store was on the small side but it certainly had all kinds of inventory of the things I would normally purchase. Clean, bright, well organized and the friendly employees you expect of Hannaford. We live down Route 24 so this will be out go-to store.

This is specifically for the Deli Department at the Gurnette Road location. I went to the Deli to get some thin sliced turkey. Purchasing presliced has become expensive because it is sliced way to thick. 1/2 pound is about 5 slices. So I thought I would have it sliced instead of the usual "grab n' go". The woman behind the counter looked at me like I had 3 heads. I asked for what I wanted and she didn't speak English. She went to the front of the case and pointed to the pre sliced items making noises like she was confused. I said, I don't want that, I want it sliced. She went back to the case, pointed and spoke in another language. I repeated myself. She went back behind the counter and ignored me. I walked away VERY upset. This is not ok. If you cannot speak English, you should not have a position dealing directly with the public!

The person at the seafood counter was very pleasant and helpful. I was able to find what I was looking for. But, the young bagger at the check out stuffed my bags too heavy (I brought plenty of them). I am disabled, I use a cane. And also, he packed the raw chicken and fish in with my fresh veggies and fruit. I usually pay attention when they are bagging but was distracted because I was in a lot of pain. I think there needs to be some retraining in that area.

Great small town supermarket. Good produce, seafood, meat counters and a full service pharmacy. Christine at checkout is always smiling and is a highlight of this great staff. I only deduct a point because parking lot has only one entrance/exit. It was better when there were two.

The store is new and the workers are friendly. We really appreciate the military parking close to the front of the store. My husband is a Vietnam veteran and the parking makes him feel appreciated.

The new location is convenient, clean & nicely setup. My issue is with the pharmacy. I was convinced by an employee to switch to this pharmacy because they had a low volume of customers. I work overnights & constantly lose sleep while waiting hours for CVS to fill prescriptions that are vital. My first time going to this Hannaford pharmacy, & my script was sent over at 9am, my visit is at 12:30pm & I'm told it'll be AT LEAST 3 hours...same issue as CVS, another sleepless day for work while I wait & I'm very annoyed that the employee told me what I wanted to hear to get me to switch. If you don't have enough staff to keep one pharmacy in the black, why would you open a second location & tell a customer that B.S.? Very disappointed.

Nice store located as part of a shopping mall. Seem clean and need of stocking items... maybe because it's a weekend. Just went in for bread. Employees seem pleasant.
